I wear a size 14 shoe and had been looking for a black 'Born Sawyer' for sometime. Even the Born website and Amazon did not carry my size. When I finally found Zappos and they had the shoe, I actually didn't believe it. Even when I ordered it, I thought they would send a notice to say it was back ordered. Not so! I have the shoes and love them!

My husband says that this shoe feels like a slipper! It looks dressy enough without compromising comfort.

Very pleased with these shoes. I bought a half size larger and feel just a little loose but this is fine with me as it is what I wanted with this shoe. Very pleased with the comfort and style and would think that most people will like the comfort.

This is my 1st time shopping with Zappos. Your customer service representatives just plain tock it! First, I requested they hold shipping my order until I got back into town and the day after I got back in town Boom! My order arrives, Yes. When I received the order the product was not quite up to snuff so I called your customer service team, explained the problem, they were professional, courteous and fun they took care of the order without any curt and borderline rude third degree attitude one gets so often these days just Well I'm Sorry that happened let's take care of that right now Boom! The following business day the replacement product arrived in perfect order. Zappos product line is broad and reaching, but most important Zappos offers exemplary Customer Service! All I can say is, if Zappos treats their employees well their employees will treat Zappos well and we your Well treated customers will return the favor back to Zappos as well! Well, Well, Well Whatta ya know! Thank you!

Very comfortable shoe but like others, I had to order a half size bigger. You might want to order two sizes and then send the one that doesn't fit back.

My husband loves these! Wore them on vacation the day he received them and had zero complaints about fit or comfort. And they look great!

These shoes fit like they were made just for me. Simply perfect. I'm not one to write comments about anything done as it should be, but Born, for me, has been consistent in quality and fit. I have 3 pairs in different styles. All with great fit, durability, and style that fits almost anywhere. You can, and I did, run in them! I'm 6/3, 222, and these pups didn't flinch. Tough and good looking too. That's it.

At first these shoes were a little tight and difficult to put on, but after a few days they have broken in and they feel great! The style is perfect for business casual or with jeans.

Initially was quite pleased with fit and comfort though they have not held up like other Born styles I have worn. The leather is glove soft and the toe box collapses with very little pressure. The soles, although quite soft, have worn much more quickly than other styles.

I bought these for my husband to replace a pair of Born slip ons he had for years and loved. He said they were the most comfortable shoes he had ever had. He isn't disappointed with this pair either. I am sure he will wear them just as long.

I've long been in need of a "nice-ish" pair of slip-on shoes. For going to work. For quick on-and-off just around the house. For date-night. Whatever. Christmas' haul included these shoes, and so far I couldn't be happier. They look snappy. The fit PERFECTLY. They're wonderfully easy to put on and take off. Perfection, in other words.

Purchased these for my husband in a size 10. Comfortable, well made and fit perfect from day one. Soft leather with no break-in period. Husband claims they fit like a "slipper"! Plus...they look great with jeans or dress slacks. Born does it again! And Zappos, as always, is awesome to deal with!

Not is good and true to size.

Really liked the style that reminds me of Born shoes over the years. Only slight complaint is that I always wear size 10 and these are a touch small. Otherwise near perfect!

Hard to tell if they're black or really dark brown.

I have had good luck with previous Born shoes and was looking for a casual slip on shoe. I liked the looks of these with the wool fabric and black leather. I normally wear a size 9.5 and my other Born shoes are this size. However, when I tried on the 9.5 in these, they felt small both in the length and tightness across the top of my foot. I returned these and bought them in a 10 and they were much better. Perhaps a bit long, but they don't slip when I am walking in them. Based on other reviewer's comments, it will be interesting to see how durable the soles are. Overall, I am pleased with how they look and feel.

It was way too tight

Very comfortable, love Born shoes. I ordered 8 Timber. The Timber color is much lighter, almost a tan color than what ALL pictures show. I want this shoe in Dark Timber, or as other born shoe describe this color, "brown dark brown" like the Nigel slip on. Zappos is the best!

I love the look and feel of these shoes. Have several pairs. I deducted one star from my overall rating because of the durability of the sole. What is gained in comfort is lost in durability. Mine tend to crack across the middle of the sole over time. That said, I still wear ‘em and they hold together fine! Just wish Born could make this same great looking sole with a slightly sturdier material....
