This boot is exactly what I am looking for. I need a stylish, comfortable, sturdy boot for my trip to Israel. I read the reviews and went ahead and ordered a half size up. I have on-the-wider-side-of-normal feet with a high instep. They are too big all around. I am waiting for my usual size to arrive tomorrow. They are rugged but feminine so I'm not worried about scuffing them.

I was searching for a pair of comfortable and attractive boots and when I saw these on Zappos, knew I had found what I was looking for. They are almost as easy to wear as my athletic shoes and look much more stylish, of course! As always the customer service at Zappos is great.

This is my seventh pair of Born boots. These are so comfortable and fit me perfectly plus they are so on trend with the ankle height. I cannot wait for Fall weather so I can wear them. I sometimes wear a 9½ but I got the 9 and that was just right.

With a wide flat foot, small heel and large ankles/calves, it's really hard to find boots - even shoe boots - that fit. These felt comfortable and broken in the first time I wore them. So impressed! I'd normally wear an 8.5 or 9 wide, but REI only had a 9.5 medium and it's perfect.

I have been looking for gray ankle booties for the past two seasons. I needed them to be comfortable, stylish and suitable for the dreary and sometimes messy Chicago winters. I wanted them for work and play and well - this is finally the boot! It's uber comfortable right out of the box, it looks great with skinnies or work pants and has a very walkable heel. The leather is a bit a nice midway between matte and shiny. Stop reading my review - you have found your boot! True to size, comfortable and stylish.

Nice looking versatile bootie. Can wear with Skirts or Pants. Very comfortable, can wear all day. Great bang for the buck.

These boots have a classic look with the modern booty style. I love the stone grey; a nice departure from black and brown. I ordered my typical 6½ and they felt roomy, but great. I wore them the next day with tights and a skirt, loving them - but as the day went on they seemed to stretch beyond roomy and felt too big - even a foam insole did not help. I went ahead and ordered the 6 and they were perfect - even a little tight at the widest part of my foot. By the end of a day, they were very comfortable and I think that I will be living in these this winter! I so appreciate Zappos' understanding of the situation by taking back the first pair. Lesson for others: if your feet are on the narrow side, order a size down - these stretch!

Love these boots. I usually wear a size 6.5, so ordered 7.0 since my experience with Born is just a little on the small side. They fit perfectly and will be able to wear with socks.

Love these booties! I have a bum right foot, so I have to be careful with the shoes and boots I buy and these are terrific. They felt good right away. I wore them all day the first day and had no problems. Plus, they look great! I love the rather cowboy-boot look in the toe especially.

Shipped so fast and the shoes looked just like I expected them to. They fit and feel great and these particular shoes have great walk-ability. I wore them all day and evening and they feel like they will need no breaking in. A quality shoe.

Love these shoes! They are really comfortable right out of the box and are really cute and stylish. The color is more of a slightly grey-light brown, but I really like it. They do run big, I normally wear a 7.5-8, but bought these in a 7 and they are perfect (had to return the 7.5 because they were too big). Haven't worn these outside yet, but I'm sure they will be great.

These ankle boots are fun and comfortable. They look great with jeans and can be dressed up with a skirt. I appreciate the functional zipper. The leather is rich and soft as I expected from this company!

Love these boots! They're well made and super comfortable. As other reviewers have mentioned, the color is more towards a cool grayish brown than tan. They look great with denim jeans but maybe not so much with warmer toned pants, if that matters to you.

Born shoes usually fit me, and these are no exception. They look and feel expensive (but I think the price point is good). I have 'bad feet' (moderate to severe bunions), so I need a wider toe box. I wear 7 or 8; the 7.5 fit well with room for a sock.

These were very comfortable for me out of the box, and I went on a walk last weekend with these for 8 miles, no problem. I'm a solid 7.5 and they fit very well. I'd highly recommend, and probably buy again when I wear them out!

These boots are great! I love the Born brand and I have yet to be disappointed buying them from Zappos! The only complaint I have with these is that they don't look great with everything...so I wear them with skinny jeans or leggings...which is fine. They fit true to size. I wear a 9M in most shoes and I ordered them in my normal size with no issues. They are comfy to walk around in and wear for extended lengths of time.

These are my favorite shoes that I've ever owned. They're really gorgeous, well-made, and very comfortable. The leather is really soft and it's easy to polish out any scuff marks. I wear a 9.5-10 and ordered both. the 9.5 was small and the 10 was a tiny bit loose in the heal (I have a wide toe box and narrow heals, so this is pretty normal for me), but they have broken in nicely and fit perfectly now. I would get these in black, too, if the size wasn't sold out. I can't recommend these enough!

These boots are just wonderful! The leather is gorgeous and the overall quality is great. They are comfortable right out of the box, and go with all but the dressiest of outfits. I got them in the brown, which has a gorgeous taupey-grey shading, but I also want them in black! They are worth every penny - I highly recommend these booties!

As soon as I put my foot in the shoe it was just so comfy! It's not often that you find a shoe with a perfect fit on the first try. They are truly a good investment! I also purchased a black pair.

Great boot for cold days. They are true to size and leave room for a thicker sock or they are good with a thinner sock as well. The steel shank makes them super tough and so comfortable for walking a lot. I like wearing them with jeans and a down vest. Fun!

These are very nice boots. I walked all over the city in them one day and my feet were comfortable. They are low on the ankle and look cute with skinny jeans and skirts/dresses. I have a narrow foot and would say they run a bit wider than I like but they are so cute, they aren't going back!

I love these boots. I ordered them 1/2 size larger than normal and they fit great [I have a wide foot]. I went on a trip days after receiving them and took a chance and packed only these boots and snow boots. Wouldn't you know it? Not a drop of snow so I wore these the entire trip, all day every day, tromping through airports, shopping, everything. Love them!

I love these! I have such difficult feet to fit thanks to some foot problems. My feet are slightly wide and I need to have decent space around the big toe both in width and height. Until I had foot problems/swelling, I didn't realize how difficult it is to find stylish shoes that fit that requirement. Why is it so hard to find, stylish, cute & comfy in one shoe? These are perfect! They look amazing and they are so comfortable. When I ordered them I worried that they were too pointy and figured they would end up getting returned but does are such a problem for me and I was getting desperate. So glad I gave them a shot! I bought them to wear with skirts/dresses in an office environment but they would be fantastic with skinny jeans, leggings, etc. They are so versatile.
