I wore these boots around the house for a short time and decided to go for it and wore them line dancing for 4 hours straight on my feet. No problems at all! I immediately ordered a second color! It took me MANY styles and brands but I am very happy I finally found a comfortable, low heel boot I can dance in. They also aren't overly western and look classy with many styles of clothing. By the way, I am 65 and don't want old lady boots, but still want comfort! Thanks to Zappos for the WONDERFUL service. I will buy from you forever!

These are perfect. Enough support, enough flexibility, not too narrow or too wide. Very solid but quite sleek in appearance. Well befitting the name, "Jem."

These boots are wonderful. My shoe size varies between an 8.5 and a 9. I ordered a 9 which fits perfectly. Good arch support. Wore comfortably when brand new walking around NYC for an entire day.

My first pair of Born! I was looking for a high-quality pair of low boots in leather. I was surprised how many boots are manmade materials now. They're not much cheaper and rarely as comfortable or me. I expect this pair of Born to last a very long time. They are slightly on the narrow side, so I wear thin socks with them without any trouble now that they've stretched out a bit.

These shoes are a solid boot and are completely comfortable. They fit like a glove and have a solid landing. Love these booties!

These are very comfortable! I have bunions and many shoes hurt my feet. These were great from the first day. I have many pairs of Born knee high boots and these are just as comfortable.

Tried these on in a local department store in in 9 1/2 brown, but wanted black so I ordered them and the black fit probably a half a size smaller, so have to re-order up. Don't know if that's a fluke or if all the black run smaller. Really great boot though! Nice leather, good workmanship and cute style. Good heel height when you don't want to wear something high. Looking forward to getting the right size. Hopefully the 10 will be right.

I was looking for a really comfortable, and yet kind of funky closed bootie. These are absolutely awesome! I am usually an 8½ and these fit just perfectly. I am now considering buying another shoe, because these are the perfect combination of super comfortable and interesting to look at.

I'm very happy with this bootie. I've been looking for awhile for a quality leather ankle boot for fall and this bootie is perfect. It is comfortable and stylish and the top is leather rather than synthetic. I did insert a gel innersole because I thought it could use a bit more arch support but I often do that with non-athletic shoes.

Love them. They're already my everyday shoes. I got the truffle brown color and it's quite nice, sort of a soft greyish-brown.

I LOVE these boots! I have 2 pair of Born boots and don't buy anything else. However, this pair I had to go a half size smaller, but Zappos is the best in the business in customer service. I had the new pair the next day.

I wear a size 11M and these fit well. It seems like most 11's are a hit and miss and these are a hit. Not made for a narrow foot in the Medium, but the heel and ankle part is slimmer which works for me.

Oh Zappos, how I love thee! These wonderful boots arrived within a day and I love them. Straight out of the box, onto my feet and off to an open house. On my feet for 2 hours in brand new boots and nary a complaint. These are very true to size. I've gone through my fair share of boots and sneakers lately and while I typically wear a size 9, sometimes I wear an 8.5 especially in Born. These are just perfect for me in a size 9, very comfortable. I have tetchy feet, with recurrent peroneal tendonitis in one foot/calf and just a plain old crabby foot in the other. These are so comfortable. My arches don't complain, there is just enough cushion (not too much, not too little, just right) and my feet are happy in a medium weight sock. Not sure if my orthotics will fit but I'm really not sure I need them in these ankle boots because they are just that comfortable. The style is super up to date, I feel quite stylish yet I feel that they will be in style for quite a while to come, i.e. not too trendy. I love these booties, great purchase, highly recommend them!

The color is perfect, a cool olive-gray-brown (if that's a color) that works for day and night. I also tried another pair of boots that came up a bit higher, and I have to say, the low cut of this boot is right on, very modern. The toe is pointy which makes it look dressier and more feminine. I totally recommend these to wear with skirts or trousers. Love them! I heard Born runs large. I usually am a 10.5 and was surprised how perfectly these 10s fit.

These little boots are so cute! Extremely comfy, right out of the box. They are work-appropriate and stylish. They are slightly longer and narrower than other Born shoes I have purchased in the past, but only slightly.

I love the look and quality of this leather boot. I usually wear a 39, but wanted to be able to wear these with medium weight wool socks so I went to a 40. I have a slender medium foot so even with wool socks I have room. I think I'll add an insert due to said slender foot...downright boney! Nice quality boot!

This is a beautiful and good quality booties! When I ordered this, I also ordered a more casual Born bootie which I am keeping. I work on a college campus and this was a bit to dressy for office.

I love these little booties! They are cute, versatile, and comfortable. The fit is perfect - exactly what I would expect - consistent with other Born boots that I have. I may need to add a layer of padding to ease my soles but other than that I am thrilled to have something so cozy to keep the chill away. I have skinny heels, high arches and a wide toe area. These are just a bit tight in the toes because of the pointed shape but I love them anyway.

I was concerned the instep might be tight based on another review but happily that was not the case. And my instep is so high I can't wear Dansko's. These are a darker brown than the image shows yet the same tone. They are easy to get on with the side zip and very cute. They are low, fit as expected, and comfortable. I'm very happy!

Great little boot! Comfortable from the moment I put it on until I took it off 10 hours later after work. Highly recommend.

These are very comfortable, attractive boots. They are easy to get on and off. I have gone down half a size in Borns. They run a bit bigger than they used to so I recommend ordering one size down.

So I took the advice of a couple of others that purchased this boot, and said it ran small. Bought a size up from my usual 8 and got the 9, which is way too big.I wear an 8 in the 4 pairs of Born's I currently own, so will be ordering an 8. I like the heel height, not too short, not too tall. It has very smooth leather and seems very sturdy. I wish the leather was softer.

I love these boots! They were comfortable right out of the box which is unusual for me because of my slightly wide feet. I normally wear an 8 -8.5, or a 39 wide in Birkenstocks, and the 8.5 fit perfectly. Because they fit my wide foot very well, I selected "Felt wider than marked".

Love these boots. I have difficult feet with high arches and bunions. I normally wear 7.5-8.5 depending on shoe. 7.5 fits perfect. Very comfy. Several compliments.

Unbelievably comfortable! These boots are super stylish and look great with skinny jeans. I'm regularly an 8 1/2 (narrow foot) and these are perfect with room for a thicker sock. Comfortable for walking and all day wear.
