This is my second pair of these boots! I love them! Most boots or shoes hurt my feet somewhere but these don't! I could wear them to walk a marathon!

I absolutely adore these boots! Very comfortable, and look great with leggings, skirts, jeans, everything. Low heel and yet great style. Oiled gray color is amazing!

These shoes fit my 9 1/2 foot perfectly but I preferred the looks of the Teva ankle boot which I ordered at the same time. I also preferred the rubber sole on the Teva.

Love them! Comfortable right out of the box. I did have to exchange for a 1/2 size smaller as they run big.

These boots are amazing! I bought them for my trip to Istanbul and Paris--they are good traveling boots. I walked between 8 and 10 miles a day and they were supportive and comfortable. I wore lighter weight wool socks and my feet were warm. I really like the grey/brown color--it is very versatile. I wear a size 6 and they were true to size. I have had good luck with Born shoes and was not disappointed with their boots.

Love these boots! Great look and very comfortable. Nice vintage finish. I normally wear an 8-1/2 or a 9, and the size 9 fit me perfectly!

This is the second pair of Jems I have purchased. I have a high instep and narrow heel. This boot holds my heel quite well with hardly any slippage. They are comfortable and based on my previous pair, will soften up considerably. I would have liked a bit more cushioning in the sole, but they are really pretty comfy. BMy first pair was brown, and does scuff easily, but cleans up well with a little of a beeswax product I purchased at a shoe store.

These are walk around NYC all day boots for me. Incredibly comfortable while still reasonably stylish. I wear with leggings and jeans. And I have bad feet. They run big. So size down by 1/2 size and they will still fit a sock.

Love these boots. 11 too sloppy. 10 was right, but good leather and stretches. Great footbed. Can walk in all day.

These boots are amazingly comfortable. They are true to size. If you have a narrow heel like I do, the right pair of socks will keep your heel from moving around. The leather is soft, yet sturdy and they look great with skirts or boyfriend pants rolled up! I am very happy that I got these boots! Born has not let me down.

These shoes are amazing! They fit great, ready to go right out of the box. No breaking in required. They are very comfortable and stylish!

Love these boots! Fit great and very comfortable walked about 4 hours in them the first day and feet didn't hurt! I'm size 11 in just about everything and ordered size 11 and fit true to size.

I tried many boots before settling on this pair. What I like is the height and the style. They are very comfortable for a boot and didn't need any breaking in. I will say that the husband compared them to Robin's boots from "Batman and Robin" but even he says he likes them now. The pewter color is really pretty and goes with everything casual. The one thing that bothers me is the flap on my right boot, it wants to kinda flip forward whereas the left one doesn't. This isn't a problem with long pants but for ankle pants, it looks little weird.

I love these shoes! I am typically an 8 in running shoes, and a 7.5 in flats. I am keeping the Born Jem in a size 7.5. Comfortable and cute. I wore them to work with a dress and received compliments.

I LOVE these shoes! I've been looking for a pair of ankle boots for a long time and, unfortunately, have had to send back several pair. These were super comfortable and cute right out of the box. I'm a teacher and was able to wear them all day long at work with no problems! I also got several compliments. I'm already planning to order these in another color I love them so much!

These are great comfortable boots. I ordered a 9.5 and a 10 to make sure I could wear them with both heavy and light socks. I decided to keep the 9.5. I guess I'd say they are a little generous in size because I usually wear a 10. Born usually fit me very well and these were no exception. Room in the toe to move around. The arch was snug. if you have a very high arch, may not work you. I was looking for a boot to wear with straight jeans, every day. These fit the bill. Will be easy to walk around in all day. The rubber, but doesn't look like rubber sole is good for impact. I'd highly recommend. I bought the taupe. Saw the black in a department store. It wasn't a casual looking.

These boots are amazing. I walked 25 (!!!) miles in them in Paris in three days with pretty much no breaking in. No blisters. And stylish enough to not give me away as an American on sight. I love them and would recommend to anyone.

This boot is exactly what I am looking for. I need a stylish, comfortable, sturdy boot for my trip to Israel. I read the reviews and went ahead and ordered a half size up. I have on-the-wider-side-of-normal feet with a high instep. They are too big all around. I am waiting for my usual size to arrive tomorrow. They are rugged but feminine so I'm not worried about scuffing them.

I was searching for a pair of comfortable and attractive boots and when I saw these on Zappos, knew I had found what I was looking for. They are almost as easy to wear as my athletic shoes and look much more stylish, of course! As always the customer service at Zappos is great.

This is my seventh pair of Born boots. These are so comfortable and fit me perfectly plus they are so on trend with the ankle height. I cannot wait for Fall weather so I can wear them. I sometimes wear a 9½ but I got the 9 and that was just right.

With a wide flat foot, small heel and large ankles/calves, it's really hard to find boots - even shoe boots - that fit. These felt comfortable and broken in the first time I wore them. So impressed! I'd normally wear an 8.5 or 9 wide, but REI only had a 9.5 medium and it's perfect.

I have been looking for gray ankle booties for the past two seasons. I needed them to be comfortable, stylish and suitable for the dreary and sometimes messy Chicago winters. I wanted them for work and play and well - this is finally the boot! It's uber comfortable right out of the box, it looks great with skinnies or work pants and has a very walkable heel. The leather is a bit a nice midway between matte and shiny. Stop reading my review - you have found your boot! True to size, comfortable and stylish.
