Cute and seems to be comfortable. I need a size larger than usual in this shoe. Other shoes by Merrell have fit my foot even though I need a wide in most brands.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I have been walking all over Japan and my feet feel great. I live them.

I've been looking for a comfortable basic black shoe. The "ballet" styles don't stay on my feet when walking, and most "maryjanes" feel silly. These are comfortable and a bit better styled. They are a generous fit too!

After three foot surgeries, I wear orthotics and am only barely comfortable wearing athletic shoes. So wearing a dress has been not been an option for me for a long time, but with another formal occasion coming up, I decided to give these shoes a try. I was very pleased with them and have been able to wear them on several occasions with dresses. They have a nice, roomy toe box and the diagonal strap holds my feet in place while wearing the orthotics. Merrell is really my go-to company for comfort, especially with their Q-form design which supports women's unique gait and hip structure. I highly recommend you give these a try.

My daughter needs custom orthotics, and these shoes are perfect because, being open on the top of the foot, there's room for foot which is pushed upward at the arch. At the same time, the strap holds the shoe in place and looks cute at a saucy angle. This is her second pair and they're perfect to wear around town and on campus. She walks everywhere so she needs something sturdy but they're also feminine and pretty so prefers them to sneakers. They're definitely made so that the toes aren't squished in the toe box, but neither of us thinks that makes them look frumpy as has been suggested by others.

As always Merrell's never disappoint. Right out of the box they were as comfortable as can be and these are super cute with the slanted strap. I take size 11 and they are true to size, perfect! I purchased the black and they will be fine for dressy attire or casual and I will be able to walk for hours with no discomfort. Thankyou Zappos.

I can only wear MaryJanes because of a mobility problem and these seem to be the only leather ones that I liked. They are very comfortable and have a dressier look than most others.

In a word -- COMFORTABLE. These are now my almost always go to everyday shoes for cooler weather. I can wear them all day without any discomfort. There's plenty of wiggle room for toes that don't like being confined. The angled strap gives a flattering line and keeps them from being just a plain Mary Jane.

I love these shoes! I work on brick floors, spend several hours standing, and need a good shoe due to a back injury. I have this show in tan and black, they are long lasting and comfortable.

Great shoes, and much more comfortable than I thought. No need to break in, good support and although the heel felt almost snug it never caused a problem (rubbing ,etc). As for size, I wear a solid 9.5 but ordered a 10 based on some reviews here, and the fact that my Merrell boots at a 10. I had to return mine for a size 9. I haven't worn a size 9 in ages, so this surprised me as I have always found Merrell's to run small on me. Overall, this is shoe that looks great with either dress pants or jeans.

These shoes are super cute! The color is definitely a cabernet, more towards a warm eggplant color than a reddish-burgundy. I have mutli-color socks that have a deep purple in them and they go great with these! I usually get Keens but I didn't like any of the styles they have for 2016. I can get more orthotic in them with no problem. These are comfortable to walk around in and are generally my go to shoe for spring and fall.

Very comfortable they have a cupped heel support which works for my aching feet. I think they are cute............or as cute as is possible for a size 11 shoe. easy slip on style works for me.

I think this is a great shoe. I wear a size 10, no real issues with my feet, and these fit perfectly. Support is fairly light in this shoe, but that's pretty much what I expect with this style. Comfort was great, once I put in some little pads at the heel (I get blisters easily), and I wore them for several hours with no issues the first day I got them. I have other Merrell shoes and these lived up to my high expectations of the brand.

I really love this shoe, but I wish the toe box came down a little farther on my foot. I have bone spurs on my big toe and it's very hard to find a shoe that doesn't rub on it!

Once again, no disappointment with a Merrell shoe. I really like the feel and support. I am a teacher's aide and walk a lot in my job. After wearing them around the house a bit, I wore them at school for a full day. No break in time neede. They look nice in spite of my flat feet.

A little too tight.

These Merrell's are very comfortable. They also can be slipped on without having to undo the buckle each time which is a plus. The arch support is a bit above average. Not stellar but but very good. I also think they run a bit larger than usual. I had to exchange them for a half size smaller.

An incredibly comfortable shoe, but not enough arch support for me. Sadly returning, but might be perfect for someone else!

These shoes are just perfect for casual wear that look nice enough for jeans and/or casual dresses and skirts. They run very true to size both in length and width. Thank you Keen for making size 10 1/2 shoes!!! Why can't more vendors do the same?!

I am on my problematic feet for up to 11 hours a day at work, but I need something that is at least marginally dressy that I can wear with pants or a skirt, so I have a very difficult time finding work shoes. These shoes have been the best ones I've found over the last few years, and despite about six months now of heavy wear, have held up really well. I am between an 8 and 8.5 and bought these on the smaller side, and I think that made them take a little longer to break in--I had some rubbing against my heels for the first few weeks, but they are 100% comfortable now. The diagonal strap gives them a little more support than a standard Mary Jane, and the contoured footbed helps with support as well. The toes are wide enough to keep from exacerbating my bunion. Also, whatever the "fresh technology" in these shoes is, it really does work to stop odors--all my other work shoes have eventually needed to be filled with dryer sheets or baking soda when I'm not wearing them, but I don't have that problem with these at all. 10/10 would buy again...and I haven't said that about any other work shoe I've purchased in years.
