These are really comfy shoes, right out of the box! The toe box is very roomy, my toes aren't all squished, they have room to wiggle about. I ordered the black and they are a really great matte black color, simple but stylish. They are a little hard to slide on, but I am hoping that changes as they start to break in. These shoes do not have a lot of arch support so if need serious arch support these are not the shoe for you. Thinking about ordering another pair in brown or espresso.

Love these cute shoes. They are comfortable right out of the box. My feet get sore by the end of the day, I do a lot of walking. My Keens seem to protect my arches a little better. I wear wides, and these Merrell's don't make my feet look huge.

These are the best vacation walking shoes ever. I just finished three weeks in Italy, Greece and Turkey. Normally my feet give out before the rest of me does, so I keep packing more and more shoes and change them every day. For this trip, I packed four pairs, yet these were the only shoes I wore! Museums, galleries, walking tours and walking thru hills of relics. These were perfect. Mine are brown and now I am going to buy black.

I love these shoes. I was hesitant because I've had problems with other Merrell's not fitting me through the toe box, usually too tight, but these are wonderful. I took them on a long weekend trip last week and wore them most of the time. Wore them with leggings (that's just me) and with jeans. Very happy with the purchase. I wear either an 8 or 8 1/2; I bought these in 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly with socks.

Theses are great shoes. I wear a 10.-11, depending on the brand, and have a hammer toe that makes it hard to find shoes that fit. With their ample toe box, these are very comfortable, and cute! Sturdy enough to walk all day in too. I liked my black pair so much I wanted a brown pair too and ordered these. The oak color is too light compared to most of my clothes, so I am returning them and ordering espresso instead.

I like these Merrells because they are less bulky. They do run a bit tight but I am hoping they will stretch over time. I have average width, maybe a little wider feet, but usually have no trouble with B width shoes. These are a little snug with thin socks.

I agree with others that there's no arch support whatsoever. Other than that, these shoes are perfect. These are the dressy alternative to people who want the comfort of sneakers but need them not looking like sneakers. These are lightweight, bouncy, stable, and good looking. Easy to put on (no laces) but fit enough to follow your feet every step of the way. The only reason that made me almost return them was the nonexistence of arch support, to me at least. But since good shoes are hard to find, this one flaw can be remedied by arch inserts (good thing the insoles are removable here). I decided to keep them anyway.

These are really nice shoes and very comfortable. However, I need something with LOTS of padding on the bottom for long days on my feet. These don't seem to have that under the balls of my feet.

These are my favorite work shoe. They are just snug enough so they don't slide around. I wear them with thinner socks, but now that I have a smaller orthotic (which fit in there excellent) I can wear medium thick socks. They look great and I can comfortably go for mid-lunch walks with them in comfort. If you have wide feet, these aren't for you, or you may want to order a size up. They do stretch a little over time, but I feel I have an average size foot and felt them to be snug, but not too tight.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I did have to return the 6.5 I ordered at first for a 7. Here is the thing - even though the 7 feels like there is maybe too much room there if I wear a thin sock, it's not. The footbed is constructed in such a way that your foot doesn't slide around. I've walked miles in them and never gotten a blister. The ones I have are still in good condition, but I plan to buy another pair, in case they stop making them.

Just like others, I found this Dassie Buckle to be super comfortable, especially after I put my orthotics and padded heel cup in. It's true, the insole that comes with the shoe is inadequate, but most of us customize so I don't think it's a negative. I will be returning the Dassie Slide as it ran a little loose on me (same size). It's also very attractive and I may get in another color 1/2 size down. Thanks for great return service, Zappos!!

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I am a healthcare worker, on my feet all day. It is almost as though I am wearning bedroom slippers with my scrubs. That is wonderful.

Best purchase I could have made. I was looking at an upcoming trip and needed slip-ons since I was going through airports once again. They are so comfortable for walking, local sightseeing, and everyday activities. I have foot issues so am always thrilled to find a truly comfortable shoe!

These fit nicely right out of the box and are quite comfortable. I like that I can take out the insole and put in my orthotics, and it's nice that the buckle is functional, as opposed to just decorative. But I wore them only three times and the sole is starting to peel off the right shoe. Pretty annoying for a pair of shoes that cost a hundred bucks. I've never had problems with Merrell shoes and am very disappointed. I suppose I can try to fix it with a hot glue gun, but I shouldn't have to.

I've been wearing these shoes for about six months now, and they are among my favorite shoes. They are a bit wide for me, because I have a low instep, but I created a workaround: I took two pieces of "moleskin plus padding" and stuck them onto patches of spare fabric. I slip these into my socks, orienting them over my instep, and voila, the shoes fit. I like the slightly wider toe box, which I need as I get older and develop bunions. I've been able to wipe the shoes clean and touch up scuffs on the non-nubuck surfaces with shoe polish. I hope the sole lasts a long time so that I can wear them for years!

These are the shoes I've been dreaming of my whole life. Pretty as a dress shoe (almost), comfortable as a sneaker. Seriously, with Merrell shoes, I know the moment I have them out of the box and on my feet that I love them. Walking around in them just confirms what I already knew. And these shoes are definitely dressy enough to wear with khakis or cords, though possibly not dress slacks.

I am really pleased with these shoes, but they're Merrell's so you can't really go wrong. The leather is really nice, not too hard and not too soft, and seems durable. If you plan on wearing these with thick socks then I'd suggest you size up. I wear mine with thinner socks and they just fit perfectly!

True in everything, plus amazing comfort! No break in period needed! They also look very cute.

YASS!!!!! Love these! Comfy right out of the box, and the insole comes out so I can put in my orthotics. This is the genius of making a 10.5--not too short, not too long. And the buckle is an actual functional buckle! Score, Merrell!

Merrell is a great quality brand that wears well. I wear these standing on my feet for 10 hour workdays. I'm always impressed with Merrell shoes.

Love these so much that I bought a pair in brown. Once I realized how much I was wearing my black pair, I ordered another pair in black. They are comfy like sneakers, but look dressier than sneakers.

THESE ARE SOOO COMFORTABLE! I love Merrell shoes when they have models that actually fit me. Some of their shoes run small, but this one actually runs true to size. I have a slightly wide foot and this shoe didn't bother me at all despite not being a wide width. It's super comfortable to stand and walk in all day.

I love these shoes! Walked 7 miles the first 2 days i wore them, and straight out of the box they feel great!
