Bought these for hiking in Alaska this summer, but wearing them now to break them in. Very comfortable, great arch support and I think they will provide the traction I need.

These are amazing on ice! They are very slip resistant. The sizes are a bit off, my normal size was too big and the next size down is very tight. I ended up going with the smaller size and wearing thin socks. They have been plenty warm, even with thin socks. I think the coldest I have worn them has been -20°. I would definitely recommend these. It is nice to have warm feet without having to wear full snow boots.

I searched a long time for a comfortable shoe/boot with reliable tread to get me through Minnesota winters. These are definitely the ones. They are good on ice, and easy to slip on and off. Comfortable and warm too. I do need more arch support than these give, so I just replaced the insole.

One of the best shoes I've ever owned. Super comfortable. Keeps your feet dry. Fits great, looks good, goes with everything. I can walk in town and then tromp in the muddy fields with this shoe. Excellent for traveling... It looks good and you can walk all day in it. If they'd bring back the other colors, I'd order another pair or two.

At first I thought that the Moc felt a little big. I was worried that my feet would slip out when I walked. I wore them around the house for a while, and discovered that not only is the Moc extremely comfortable, but my feet did not slip out, or even feel like they would. I also discovered that it is very easy to slip your foot in the Moc, which I love! No more bending down to help slide your foot in. I wear these every day to walk the dog and run errands (because they are so easy to slip on). They are also cute and stylish. I am 100% happy with this Moc.

These shoes are great. Very good looking and the tread on the sole will keep me safe. These shoes are not heavy but very substantial. I really recommend. I got them in Granite. I did spray with water repellent and I think they will last a long time. Reasonably priced for the quality.

Runs really small. I ordered the largest size, 11, and it was not even in the ballpark as far as size goes...

LOVE the shoe! It was too narrow for me. Had to return. I do not have a wide foot so I was very disappointed.

The best shoe ever!

First of all, fit. I ordered up a half-size (based on previous Merrell orders) in order to wear thicker socks, and I am glad I did. Three stars for style, but that's not what I was looking for this time. Comfort - great. Most importantly, they do what they say they do - keep me safe on ice. I am "older" and have two knee replacements, and use a cane, but I still work part-time so I can't stay home, even if the walking is treacherous. These shoes are amazing. I have walked on glare ice with confidence. They are warm but not sweaty, and keep my feet dry. I highly recommend them.

I found the toe box to be a little narrow, but I'm used to Merrell's vapor glove and other minimal footwear. Aside from that, great shoes. I needed protective, water resistant footwear for standing on a hard wet surface at work. These fit the bill while still looking more "athletic" and not too "work boot."

Fantastic. It's wide enough, comfortable, springy, high ( I like some height).

I like in a ski resort and for years have lived in the Merrell Winter Moc during the cold months, but they no longer make it, so I bought this moc as a replacement. These have great grip (which can feel a bit annoying during break-in, but worth it for show/ice), great waterproof-ness, very comfortable and extremely warm. Not to be worn unless it is cold out as your feet will overheat. When it is cold, the combo of this Moc and Smartwool socks are the bomb.

These are great shoes! I require a bit more toe room than these allow, but overall I think they would be a great shoe all through winter, no matter the weather. I am returning them because I found another pair of shoes that has the toe room I want.

These are my favorite all around shoes for fall and winter. Easy to slip on and off, super comfortable, and keep my feet warm and dry. I have flat feet and need shoes with good arch support and these were perfect. I just need an equivalent shoe to wear during the summer months.

Love these shoes! Bought them for dog walking in the wet, cold, icy Chicago weather. Amazing traction. No issues w/water (splashing in puddles, and in sloppy mud). Cozy feel, great fit. Easy slip on and off. I wear them all the time! Thinking about buying a second pair for just-in-case.

This shoe fit me a half size too long which caused my heel to slip out (I ordered my usual 7.5 size). Other than that, I love the shoe. I might come back for a half size smaller and hope it's not too short. I never wear a size 7 so I am on the fence.

I usually wear a 9N and while these fit with socks, my toes hit the end. I may reorder in 9.5 but am not sure I really need the warmth since in Austin we didn't even have a killing frost this winter. I LOVE the stable heel base and the fact that they're waterproof since I do walk through creek beds on occasion.

These shoes are perfect for my every day life in winter and spring. I love that I can slip them on and off easily coming and going a lot of the day. The elastic at sides allows custom fit as I have a high instep so often slip ons are too tight across the top for me. The soles are the best I've ever had on shoes and great on icy walks and parking lots. They also keep my feet warm and dry. I know they will be awesome in the spring slush as well.

I like these for walking in the snow. They provide warmth and a firmer more substantial sole than the Jungle Moc.

Comfortable and rugged, I was pleasantly surprised by these shoes. I will be trying them out on hikes and in the garden and like that they are waterproof. They run a bit large but I'll wear socks. They are clunky! Merrell shoes are so reliable. I just hope they continue to use quality materials.
