Very nice pair of shoes. Some below think too heavy but I'd say about normal for shoes with this sturdy structure.

I am on my feet 12 hours per day. These shoes were comfortable right away. They are stylish without the puffy marshmallow look.

I adore these. After I finally wore them out I replaced with a different model and have regretted the change. Only downside is they look pretty... utilitarian so may not translate to casual wear scenarios as well as some other trail walker/runner types.

Some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had! Fit is perfect. Not meant for warm weather but that is not what I bought them for.

These shoes are really comfortable and hand great arch support.

this is the best pair of shoes i have owned. have wide feet at toes and some nerve pain in toes. these shoes are wide enough that the pain is gone. very stylish for walking in the woods or just shopping. will certainly buy more f for backup in the event merrell stops making these. loving these shoes!

Have been a long time Keene fan but these Merrells are truly outstanding! Bought the Moab Rover over a Keene because I could find a wide size. Pleasantly surprised by the great comfort and looks. Highly recommend these shoes.

Had a pair of ventilators for over 5 years and they were easily the most comfortable shoe I've owned. I have 3E feet and high instep + orthotic, so need a show with some space. Tried the Moab Rover just for a change of style. While I find these to be a tad firmer than the ventilators, they are every bit as comfortable. Will see if they last as long, suspect they will as Merrell's don't die easily. I recommend Merrell quite often and never a disappointed party.

I love these shoes. My older Merrell's had gotten too tight because of my bunions. I bought my regular length in a Wide of this shoe and they fit wonderfully. I also like a prominent amount of arch support since I have high arches, and these provided just what I needed.

I've only put a few miles on these so I can't address durability. I can, though, say they are comfortable and look good, breath well and keep my feet dry.

Great fit true to size. They were pretty comfy right out of the box but I always use gel inserts anyways. Well made and comfortable gotta love Merrells

After trying another style, too tight. The very professional and quick exchange program at Zappos gave me a overnight chance to try the Merrell Rover. They are just right fit, color and style I was looking for. Such a pleasure to deal with Zappos.

Right out of the box, these are a great fit and very comfortable! They look great and are not heavy on my feet. They will be perfect for office work and outdoor walking. The vibration sole is stiff but not too much. Good padding along the collar as well. The inserts are cheap thin liners there for a pop of color and not much else. Replaced with Super Feet and the fit is great.

The first pair I received was defective. I returned them to you and you sent me another pair. The second pair is great. They feel great. thank you. Richard O'Riley

Had to go 1/2 size up. Put my own orthotics in and made a great difference. Like the color - good shoe for walking.

Bought these for my husband so he could have traction and support while woodworking in the shop. He loved them right off the bat. He says they are very comfortable and he likes the great support.

My regular shoe is a 10 1/2, but that size is small in these shoes. Size 11's fit me perfectly. Out of the box, they feel like they've been worn for years. Very comfortable and good looking. Great choice! These are my first Merrells, but won't be the last.

I purchased these for my husband in wide width whose feet have gotten wider and has a little arthritis in a couple of toes, he commented all day long the first day he wore them on how good they felt, same on the second day, etc....I purchased 3 additional pairs in other colors. They are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn.

I rarely write reviews, but feel compelled to share my story about shoes that cross the generation barriers. My husband hates shoe shopping and has difficulty finding a pair of shoes that he can both wear out of the box and continues to provide comfort and support for years. However, his experience with the Merrell Moab was so great, that he ordered a second pair. But before he could wear them, our son arrived for a visit from sunny California in sneakers to 2' of snow in Oregon. After borrowing his Dad's shoes for an afternoon, he invoked 9/10's of the law and took possession of them. We ordered a new pair for my husband, who was able to wear them for a day before my father arrived in poorly fitting winter shoes which worsened his balance issues in the snow and ice. The solution? He took over my husbands Merrell Moabs, happier than he has ever been with the comfort, support and grip of a shoe. Thank goodness Zappos offers next day shipping! My husbands new Merrells are on their way. Luckily, we will not have any relatives visiting for a bit.

I wanted black, beefed-up shoes for sloppy conditions. Merrell delivered the goods! They are comfortable out of the box, and the sole is stiff but not too rigid. I tried my normal size but had to go up half a size. They seem to run slightly narrower than older versions of Merrell shoes.

These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I walked two miles in them the same day the box arrived. They look and feel like what they are - top quality, top of the line, walking shoes.
