I've purchased Merrells previously and they are very comfortable, fit well, provide good support and are well made. I use these sneakers for working outside my house and they provide comfort and support.

I have some real problems finding shoes that fit. Even with Zappos deal of being able to return shoes, I often find myself at first thinking a new pair is going to work, only to later find it is causing my problem feet some more problems. Merrell shoes are one of the only brands I can buy and wear with no problems. Just wish Zappos carried more stock of their different styles in my size.

I usually stick with Merrell, as their shoes and boots have never disappointed. My wife and I love jungle birding trips in South and Central America and I always wear Merrell. Always a perfect fit, comfortable and durable, and they look good, too. Zappos had prompt service.

I have been looking for a waterproof boot that I liked for two years. I saw this boot in brown at a store and I liked it but they didn't have my size. I came home and went straight to Zappos and there it was in black. Be still my heart! Ordered it and it was here in two days. One thing I forgot is my feet are always cold but since I got these my feet are cozy and comfortable. I walk a lot and drive many miles a week and these are perfect!

The boot looks good and feels good. It's comfortable around the foot and ankle. Exactly what I need for all-season use.

Great boot. Trail walking in 4" of snow. Feet stayed warm and dry. Plus, the boot looks nice with jeans.

After being disappointed with the last few less expensive boots I bought, I decided to submit and try these boots. Lemme tellya, this is a nice pair of shows. They look good and are very comfortable. They are great for street hiking. Even the laces seem high quality. Usually within a week, on cheaper boots the laces partially fail and I spend the rest of the life of the shoes trying to deal with it. Since they cost this much, I hope to get serious use of out these, at least 9 months of semi-daily use. I have only had these a week, so it is too soon to know if they are really worth the money. I'm optimistic though.

I love these boots! This is my 3rd pair of Merrell's, and they are just as comfortable as my others. No break-in period needed...perfect right out of the box. I have not yet tested them in wet conditions though. Hopefully they will perform just as well in wet conditions as my other Merrell's.

One of those shoes that are great right out of the box. I wear 8½-9EEE no arch and have neuropathy. These work well in 9W with good toe box room. They fit better than the New Balance equivalent.

First on Zappos, I think they provide the best shopping experience possible. I have now introduced Zappos to my family and they use it more than I do. These boots are fantastic. I wanted them to walk about on snow covered ground so I thought Merrell's mesh styles would not be warm enough. These strike the perfect balance.

Great boot - can't go wrong with Merrell. Zappos is great for letting you try out shoes/boots in your home before purchase.

Great boots! Fit is perfect, very lightweight, sole grabs dirt and pavement equally well. Very happy with this purchase.

Attention all touring audio professionals: This is an excellent choice for comfort and protection for those long days on and around the stage. I paired these up with some New Balance insoles for arch support, as I have high arches.

Comfortable and good lightweight shoes. Smart enough for travel. Seem to be wearing well. I would recommend.

These boots fit well right out of the box. The quality of construction is very good. The only negative is there could be better arch support (reason for 4 stars in comfort), but not a big deal. I would certainly recommend these.

These boots are excellent.The first day I wore them for 13 hours without any problems. No break-in needed at all. The size is perfect and feels like they were made for my feet. I Highly recommend these Merrell boots.

The Merrell Moab River Mid is a cool and comfortable hiker with great ankle and arch support. I wear it daily for walks through the city and it's been a very effective aid in supporting my ankle through physical therapy. It fits exactly as I'd hoped and even works well with an extra pair of socks when during the colder mornings. I highly recommend this great-looking and versatile shoe-sneaker-boot.

These were a gift for my husband who loves them! He was surprised at how lightweight they were. Very comfortable.

Great shoes and are comfortable right out of the box. My son loves them and is on his feet all day, often in the rain.

I've been a fan of Merrell hiking boots for many years now and I'm not disappointed with the Moab Rover. Very comfortable right out of the box. They do fit a bit snug around toes but not to the point of discomfort. I'm a fan of hiking books that have an unadorned leather exterior, not some alien design or a set of French curves from art class molded on the outside. Nicely streamlined too, not bulky like men's boots seem to be of late. Glad they are waterproofed too. All around, a good boot for outdoor use.

I don't think you can go wrong with Merrell's. This is my 2nd pair & very happy with both. No break-in required and very comfortable; good support for hiking/working. I use orthotics and there is room for them when the cushion is removed.

These are pretty darn good boots. I've been wearing them daily for about two weeks, and they fit comfortably right out of the box. They are one of the few boots out there that has a wide option that is really wide. Putting some boot oil on them (as per instructions from Merrell) softened up the leather and helped the boots shape to my foot. They have shed water so far, even when I put them in a few inches in a sink for 10 minutes. They are not backpacking or mountain climbing boots; more for level or moderately hilly or uneven trails. I have not tried them in any heavy PA mountain rocks yet, but that will come soon. I like that they have metal eyelets instead of the cloth or nylon loops that are so popular now. The tread is Vibrum, which is terrific.
