I really like it- it's high quality, and very nice-looking. I get tons of compliments on it from my coworkers. I'm sure there's still pockets and sections of the backpack I haven't even discovered yet.

I needed something that wasn't as rugged as the Especial Tres for school and work. The Command was just the right size, color, texture and style! Most importantly it had a sternum strap which is something I need in on all my bags. Great purchase, I enjoy the look and it's my everyday bag for now.

I use the pack to carry my two laptops on the airlines every week. Rugged and easy to use. there is really nothing I don't like about this pack but maybe an additional internal pocket for phone.

Fantastic backpack to travel with for work or pleasure. I carry a good amount of stuff both electronic, food, and clothes comfortably, and it still slides under the seat when i fly so i don't need to worry about finding overhead space.

I love this bag and have gotten a ton of compliments. I use it everyday for my work laptop, gym clothes and shoes, and lunch and it holds it all! It has so many great compartments for storing my makeup and meds too. My only complaint would be the way the back laptop pocket is designed. The straps get in the way of me getting the laptop in and out of the back which is a bit annoying. Otherwise, I LOVE this bag.

I got this backpack specifically for traveling and commuting. It is large enough to carry all the stuff you may need for a short weekend trip. Furthermore, there is plenty of space for books, computer, tablet, etc. for students or those traveling by plane.

I have traded in my T**i brief and laptop brief for this outstanding pack. I travel for business and it is simply a better design for a carryon business traveller than a brief case. To meetings I simply sleeve my macbook and no longer carry a brief case. I know at 49 it took me a while to catch on to you millennial shoulder bag traveller/commuters. What can i say? I'm an idiot. This TSA friendly bag is the perfect, secure solution for me, yes even commuting into the City.

I use the Command bag as an office as well as travel backpack at times. So far so good and i'm loving it ! Wish it had come with a rain cover as there is continuous monsoon in the place where i live.

I was searching for a backpack that looked professional enough to take on business trips and big enough to fit the stuff that doesn't fit in my company branded messenger. The Timbuk2 Command Pack fits the bill on all the above and the TSA friendly laptop system is really convenient. I only was asked once out of 10 times by TSA to take my laptop completely out and place in a bin. The main pocket capacity is larger and deeper than I expected and I like how you can taper the bottom with the straps to make it slimmer when I want to carry by the side strap like a brief case. Only 2 things.. I wish the main pocket had some smaller pockets to put things in bc like I said, its pretty deep and a bit difficult to grab stuff at the bottom when swinging it around on one shoulder. I also echo what one reviewer said about it being a bit inconvenient how you have to fold over the strap to access the laptop pocket. However, I can still pull out my laptop without folding over the strap but its slightly more difficult but not a big deal bc I'm not constantly taking it out. Overall, its a great bag, durable, professional looking and worth the price.

I purchased this because I used to drag my briefcase and wanted to have a backpack to keep my hands free for my (and my wife's) suitcases. Works great

Took this bag with me throughout Europe, my duffel bag got super heavy so i stuffed the command bag with a couple sweaters. Didnt feel the weight on my back, and the duffel was a lot lighter. Tumbled through wet grass on my way down from Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh and the bag was dry, everything inside was intact (including my sandwhich and chips). Love this bag!

I wanted a professional looking backpack that could also handle a weekend getaway without any issues. On a recent trip I was able to take: 1 iPad mini 4 scarfs A pair of Teva sandals 2 pairs of regular shorts 1 pair of swimming shorts 5 T-shirts 1 light rain jacket All of my medications 2 pairs of sunglasses 1 external phone battery and associated cords And it all fit without it looking to bulky or misshaped. I do wish the side mesh pocket had a little bit more capacity to easily fit wider water bottles, but this is a small complaint and does not ruin how much I love this bag.

Great backpack and one of my favorite Timbuk2 bags. Styling is professional and clean and multiple handles allow it to be carried like a briefcase as well. Pocket design allows for exceptional organization. I do a lot of walking between job sites and using the backpack (over my prior messenger bag) allows for a more even distribution of the load, which translates to more comfort. The TSA friendly design is also great when traveling.

This is definitely the best backpack I've owned. It can't compare anything else to it. It's stylish, has tons of pockets, and doesn't want me wishing for more. I work in IT so I'm frequently carrying around several laptops, tools, and back-up drives. It just ROCKS!

I use the backpack on a daily basis. I used it to go back and forth from work. I haven't had a chance to take it on an airplane, but I will soon. The back pocket is perfect for carrying my laptop. I also have a small tablet that is great for the front pocket. There is also a phone pocket that is lined with felt. I still pocket my phone, but I keep my iPod in that pocket. I do have an insulated lunch bag I carry occasionally as well. The main pocket it a little tight to carry it, but it does work. This would be a great bag for people who travel a lot. It's got a lot of good pockets to carry everything you need to keep with you.

I literally went around the world with this bag and abroad several times since and it's still going strong. Even when I pack it until it's bursting at the seams, I can still reliably cram it underneath most all airline seats. That's due in large part to its sleek, almost pill-like shape and lack of exterior embellishments. The easy-to-access compartments on the front and just inside the first large compartment give me lots of places where I can stash or retrieve small items quickly. By volume and raw interior space, it's one of the largest bags Timbuk2 offers, which is why I initially bought it. I don't work in a traditional business setting where I require something so traditional looking, but the functionality of this bag (and its size) outweighed its slightly boring look. Things I would love to see on the next generation of this product: 1. Make a custom option or at least offer a couple less drab color choices. I love how practical it is, but having something brighter would be nice. 2. Make the bottom available in an optional waterproof fabric. I took mine to several dirty places and it would be great not to worry where I'm setting it. 3. Make the straps just a little wider because if there's anyone out there like me, their bag is really heavy. 4. Have a tiny place on the side to put a business card or luggage tag insert like on the Co-Pilot. It's nice not having a traditional luggage tag hanging from a bag in the event you need one.

Bought back pack to replace my timbuk2 messenger bag as I need more space and wanted a backpack. Perfect for those same day or overnight business trips. Can fit my next day's clothes, morning bag, laptop, iPad and all other necessary travel devices. Perfectly comfortable, fits in those overhead tiny airplane bins with ease (even packed fully). Very stylish, not your standard black corporate backpack that travel the airports daily. Getting ready to take on my next several 1-2 day business trips. Thanks for a great product TimBuk2

I use this backpack for business travel and personal use. I am 6'4" and I wear size 14 shoe. I was able to pack my shoes and clothes for a day, (night & exercise clothes, long sleeve button down shirt and khaki) my laptop computer, and other accessories, including my 40oz vacuumed water bottle. And it all IN the backpack comfortably. The weight distribution was good. Backpack didn't weigh me down. Excellent backpack!! My only complaint now is not being able to convince the wife that I need to buy several more timbuk2 bags....
