This show is really soft and flexible and has no arch support. If you are someone who needs any support or even a show that holds your foot firmly, it may not be for you. Cute styling, but it doesn't seem to me to be a boot that can withstand real weather.

Bought these in an 8WW and they are barely a wide! Returning. The seam down the middle is not very attractive in person, either.

Fit true to size (don't buy a Wide unless you always need Wide. Did not care for the style. Was not flattering at all for me.

After reading multiple reviews that encouraged ordering a Wide width in these booties (whether you normally wear Wide or not) I ordered Wide. Big mistake. Way to Wide and the ankle was huge. I also ordered in my typical choice of Medium width and they feel true to size. These Wides are going back.

Loved the style, but had to return because there isn't any arch support.

The sole is just too thin. No arch support.

The SoftWalk Hanover short boot, in black, was nicely finished, but looked a little cheap and dorky in hand. I tried on a 7.5 wide with a medium-thick sock; the boot was too tight across the ball of my foot. The insole has good cushioning, but it's attached to the footbed, so it can't be removed for an orthotic.

These did run narrow as I had read in other reviews, so I ordered the wide. I could get the boot on my foot, but could not zip it up. I think the double wide would fit better, but still don't think it would allow enough room to zip up all the way, especially with socks. So, I will return these and order another style. If you have narrow feet and small ankles these would be really cute. The arch support was different - like a little pillow added on, but since I could not actually wear these I don't know how that would feel.

I typically am a 10N in a boot. That size was too short so I went to a 10.5N and the length was right..but it seemed like the shoe was now a M instead of a N. Cute boots...but both sizes going back.

I have this style in a black pair and this brown color. LOVE the fit but only after two seasons of wearing only in the fall and winter the soles (not much to them in the first place) have worn very thin on one pair while the on the other pair the sole id separating from the leather upper. Sigh. I can tell you how many styles of other booties I tried before hitting on these and was so pleased. Now I need to search again because I don't want to spend this kind of money for such a short life span.

It's a great looking boot, but for a WW width this is way too narrow. If I could order WWW I would give it a try, it looks nice.

The other reviews are right about these shoes being narrow. My feet are pretty normal-sized, but these shoes felt very tight on the whole front half (heels were okay). I did feel the uncomfortable hard seam on the heel, but it didn't bother me as much as the narrow width. Too bad, the shoes are cute otherwise.

Super cute, but I thought they ran small. Pinched my toes (which might have improved with wear/stretching), but the deal-killer was some sort of seam at the back of the heel that rubbed badly. Will return.

These boots are very well made. I like the inside of the shoe and they are comfortable. I have never worn a shoe in a wide width before, but because I have a bunion on one foot, and I need more room to accommodate that, I decided to try to wide width for this boot. The width was good for me, but a little uncomfortable on my "bad" foot. I am returning this boot because it looks a little too much like an older woman's snow boot to me. I was very tempted to keep it because they are so close to the type of boot I want, but because they are a little pricey for me, I want to love the way they look too.

I bought these last year for fall/winter wear. They were very comfortable for me but the leather did not hold up. There are "bald" spots on the top of the toe and back of heel--possibly from driving. They're not holes, just "leather" is gone so they look tattered already. This is the only time I've had this issue so I'm calling out the quality of the upper materials. The fit is great if you're small and have problems with boots being too wide on top. Skinny jeans can fit over.

These are very nice looking boots. They fit true to size and width. But I returned these as there is no structure to support the ankle. I have New Balance shoes with good ankle support and I would not buy walking boots or shoes with no ankle support.

I really loved these shoes when I wore them around the house. I have narrow feet but I had to buy them in wide. However, after wearing them just ONE time outside, the soles are already scuffed up and uneven. I have never seen a sole wear out so quickly. It's too late to return these in black, but I went ahead and processed a return for the brown. It's too bad because they are very comfortable and had so much potential. I tried attaching photos but the feature is not working right now. Please fix, Zappos.

It was obvious these boots had been previously returned - not packaged as new The appearance of the material had imperfections in it but also realized these were distressed leather - hence why they were returned. Decided to keep them for the comfort only.

I wear 7.5-8 size shoe, have slightly narrow-medium heel and a wide, flat instep and top of foot. I've been trying to find a cute, comfortable ankle boot for traveling in Asia where I'll have to take my shoes off a lot. I got a size 8 in this shoe. It might work for someone with a narrow foot. For me it squished my toes, pressing on my little toe when I walked. For me there wasn't enough room for anything but a thin sock and in a boot I sometimes want something thicker. It's going back. Too bad, b/c the leather is soft and the shoe had a decent footbed.

This boot was the right length but even in Wide, these were super narrow. I do not have a wide foot and the arch was hitting about 1-1.5 inches inside of my arch. Too bad because the sole was super cushiony.

I put my foot in the boot, felt my heal hit what felt like a plywood wall. I immediately took my foot out, replaced the shipping inserts and am sending them back With a heel like this the boot wasn’t worth $25.

These boots are pretty comfortable, but I ordered the weathered boots and were not too happy with the look. My puppy found one of my boots and broke the zipper. The company were kind enough to reply to my question, "Could I have the zipper replaced". Their reply was that since the boots are made in China they could not replace the zipper. If I knew I was purchasing boots that are made in China for close to $150, I would not have made the purchase. Wish that was listed somewhere.
