No break-in period needed! Comfortable from day one!

I have a very wide foot and I was delighted to slip on these slipper-comfortable Rocklin boots and have them fit me right out of the box. I walked for hours/miles on city streets without discomfort so I am sold -- and ordering another pair right away. While I wish they had just a tiny bit more heel, I found the black suede to be stylish enough. The insole cannot be removed but my small orthotic devices fit just fine on top. SoftWalk was a new brand to me: based on the fit of these boots, I'll be regularly checking out their offerings.

The grey is more of a charcoal, darker than it looks in the photo. Very comfortable and just what I was looking for!

Originally ordered a 9W and my wide feet were swimming in these boots. Ordered an 8.5W and a 9 as a result. The 8.5W was still very roomy for my feet even with thick soled Smartwool socks on. The 9s felt smaller, not as roomy and not as deep - maybe because my feet are closer in the toe box. Would be curious to see how a 8W fits, but will probably just keep the 9s then order a fourth pair in this style.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. Sneakers included. I am an event planner, so I often spend 12+ hours on my feet in these and am never sore during or afterward. Love them.

I bought sand weather in my usual 10 and love how they feel and look. I have had them for over a month and have had no issues with the heel color coming off. Right now I am trying to figure out which other colors to buy, because I don't want these to be gone before the pair I have wears out (which looks to be years from now).

Super comfortable right out of the box. Soft with lots of cushion. I have a wide toe box and narrow ankle - they fit perfect with a thin sock. No white paint. Will probably get another color.

These are stylish and have comfort. I like that they come in a wide width.

Finally, after trying nine different brands and sizes, I found these booties. They fit, they don't hurt, and I can walk comfortably in the city for many blocks with no trouble. I have wide feet, bunions, and one foot that has been operated on twice, including bone grafting, so I especially appreciate the high quality insole ( removable ) which provides excellent arch support and extra cushioning. Leather quality and workmanship is good, and they look cute too. This brand is new to me, and I will be coming back for more. Many thanks to ZAPPOS for your patience and efficiency as I ordered and returned a perfect storm of booties ! I do appreciate your system.

I got these just in time for a 2-week trip that included a lot of walking, and these were just what I needed! My plan had been to rotate between these shoes and a pair of walking shoes, but I wound up wearing these more frequently, including a weekend in which I walked over 12 miles of varying surfaces, from city sidewalks to mild hiking trails, a fruit orchard, and a large, famous rose garden. No blisters or chafing! The leather was easily wiped clean of any dust, dirt, or mud. I was very pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these felt after a long day! Normally a W would be wide enough, but with this almond toe the WW was the right choice. It’s just wide enough for me. I have the classic Celtic foot of a narrow heel, high arch, and wide toes. Additional arch support is easy to add with insoles but I didn’t need those despite the boot feeling like it offered only moderate support.

At last, our weather is reaching a temperature that calls for boots so I now have a chance to wear these. Amazingly comfortable, love the grey color that is perfect with my black jeans. I believe I will be very happy wearing these this winter.

I got a size 9 pair in the tan/light brown color and it was perfect. I have narrow feet and they fit fine. These are excellent for walking a LOT. My feet didn't hurt at all. They go with a lot of different outfits and kept my feet dry in the rain. Very happy with purchase, these are my fave booties.

I loved this boot and would have bought more, but the 9.5W was too tight and while the 9.5WW fit perfectly, my heel slide up and down the back of the boot as I walked across the room. I double-checked my existing boots, which stayed put on the back of my foot and sadly had to send these back. I'm marking the width as "felt true to width" since my shoes are a mix of W or WW, depending on manufacturer.

So comfortable. Very similar to Munro extra wide boots.

I absolutely love these! I ordered them a little wider and my orthotics fit nicely in these. I can wear them for hours when walking.

I needed a new bootie and these were just what I was looking for: cute, yet understated. They fit well and were fairly comfortable right out of the box. The front ankle was a little tight and uncomfortable for about the first day of wear, but since they have broken in more and I don't feel that same pressure in the front. All around a great little boot for everyday wear.

These shoes are just as comfortable as sneakers. It's crazy. On my longest days I'm on my feet for 16+ hours, and I had given up on finding dress shoes that would lats that long. But these are the ones. Not a hint of soreness at the end of the day. I'm obsessed.

Super comfortable, even for my slightly wide feet! Just tall enough to keep socks from showing, and still allows a little exposed ankle if wearing with leggings. Overall, very cute.

Very cute and comfy! They go great with cropped dress pants and skirts/dresses with tights. Would have preferred the black leather over suede since I live in rainy Portland, OR but didn't care for the neutral sole color in the leather version. They have stretched a little over the past year and don't really have any tread, but otherwise they're great. I like them more than the Sam Edelman Petty booties.

When you have feet that are 10 1/2 W or WW it is very hard to find shoes, and shoes with a bit of style even harder. I have bought these and they fit great at 10 1/2 W. I bought another pair but I did have to go for a larger width. I am grateful for Zappos return policy. I am very happy with these shoes.

These are my new favorite shoes. I wore them today for the first time and I'm in love. The style is exactly what I wanted and my feet were super comfortable all day even with a lot of walking. Normally my shoes come off the minute I walk in the door but with these, I didn't feel the need to immediately take them off. Going to look for more options from this brand! I almost didn't order them because of the comments about white paint but mine didn't have any white paint at all. Maybe that issue has been resolved?!
