I bought these for two daughters and both love them. They did comment that they could use a half size bigger if they were wearing another pair or heavier socks. Sorels are so well insulated, I don't thing they will need a bigger sock that their smart wool socks, not even during MN winters.

I got these boots for my girlfriend and she loves them, they are warm, comfortable and stylish. Best pair she ever had she said.

These are great boots. They kept my feet warm and dry in the New Hampshire ice and snow. Very well made boot.

Very warm and comfortable winter boot. As many other reviewers said order a half size smaller than you typical would. They are a little clunky to walk in, but they keep your feet warm and dry.

Very warm boots! I like the fur trim. One annoying thing: lining comes out every time you take off your shoes! Second annoying thing: the back of my ankle is cut up from breaking these in!

I really wanted to keep these boots. They are really attractive and I wore my last Sorel boots to death. Unfortunately, the reviews warning about the impossibility of wearing these boots if you have a high instep are spot on! I couldn't even get my right foot in the boot!

My daughter wanted a nice pair of boots other than UGG and has been very happy with these. She loves them!

So cute, but uncomfortable. I'm usually a size 8, but the 8 in this boot felt unbelievably large. I ordered a half size down, but it was still too large. I would have ordered a 7 (full size smaller than my usual size) but there was an odd indentation in the right boot that dug into the top of my foot. The left boot didn't have it. So after trying two sizes in this boot, I have given up and will be searching for a different boot.

I really wish brands like Sorel made wider widths. People with wide or problem feet have to dredge through the same kind of weather and we want quality shoes too! I tried but returned.

I've had these shoes before and they were very comfortable. These are different. They are very narrow, too narrow to get my foot through the neck even though the size was correct. I took the liner out in hopes that would work but inside is like a rough plastic so impossible to wear without liner. I'm very sad. As these have always been my favorite shoe.

I like the look of these but sent them back because my usual size was too big and I didn't really like the canvas part of the boot. They did feel sturdy but also like snow could sneak into the boot at the top

I've never owned a pair of Sorel b/c I don't live where it's too cold but i wanted something different than Uggs. I bought these and i am so pleased. The only thing is i read that i was supposed to size down and i did a half size and i ended up exchanging for my regular boot size. I have narrow feet too and I normally wear a 7.5 in shoes and 8 in boots and the 8 fits perfectly.

I have to wonder if they recently changed this boot. I tried on the same boot on clearance two weeks before at a local shop and they were exactly what I was looking for, but a size or two too small for the heavy winter socks I wanted to put underneath. I came to Zappos and ordered two separate sizes and there was no way I could wear either comfortably. As another reviewer mentioned they hit oddly above the heel, and when I stood upright both sizes slouched in that spot. I have larger than average calves from biking, but I really don't think that was the problem as I still can easily lace them as tightly as they go. My husband commented that they looked like they were shaped in a way that was only comfortable when leaning forward. I agree. The pairs I received had less of a curve above the heel than what is pictured. I also bought a pair of North Face Chilkat 400 and found no such issue.

Love these boots. very big and kind of funky to walk in at first but definitely warm and comfortable.

I was looking for a more substantial boot for winter, and these Sorel boots are perfect! They look great, and are comfortable and warm. I ordered in black, since that will be easiest to coordinate with coats. I agree with the other reviewers to order at least a half size smaller than your normal shoe size. I didn't listen the first time and I had to exchange (thankfully Zappos is awesome for that!). I'm normally a 10 in boots, sometimes a 10.5 in heels, and the 9.5 fits perfectly with plenty of room for warm socks.

Great boot. I wear an 8 and bought a 7.5 which ended up being a good fit. I really didn't care for that white fleece piece that extends above the boot. I didn't keep them because of that and bought the Sorel boots that didn't have that.

Get a half size smaller than you normally wear. Super cute boots. Not too heavy.

True to fit and appear the same in person as they do on the website. Comfortable and warm!

I love these boots. I have the Joan or Arctic and they are great for the winter, but I wanted a pair of shorter Sorel boots that I could use during the Fall. These are perfect for that. Not too bulky (I mean, they're Sorel... they're big boots, but not as bulky as others), they're comfortable and they're very warm. I'm sure I will be able to continue using them during the whole winter as well. The liner they have as shearling, but you can buy a separate liner and change it, so that the boot is less bulky as well. I love the color too, it looks exactly as it does in the picture.

Too clunky for my taste for a short boot. If I want something this clunky, I will order the Joan of Arctic as it will provide better warmth and snow protection.

I've always had sorels and love this colour! Not only are they cute but they're going to be extremely warm for football games, the mountain, walking to work, and snowmobiling. Always a boot to keep in handy for winter! I wear size 11 in all my sandals and leather riding boots and always have to go a size up for my sorels. Not sure if it's just because of the sorel brand, or because I wear thick socks with them.

These are some clunky boots! Very cute, but not comfortable for my little feet!

I love this boot except that I wear a D width shoe and this boot pinches my foot and puts my toes asleep. It does run wide but if you really need the width because of morton's neuroma, it may not work for you.
