I bought these as after-ski boots. I am not doing a terrible amount of walking in them, but they fit the bill perfectly. They fit true to size, but I decided to get a full size larger to accommodate thick wool socks. They keep my feet warm and dry.

I was a little nervous as far as sizing because Sorel tends to be pretty inconsistent in that department. I read through the reviews and decided to order a half size up (usually a 6) and ordered a 6.5. I was really happy that when they arrived they fit perfectly! I can wear them comfortably with both regular thickness socks and thicker socks for colder weather. They are a bit stiff through the ankle, but I found that it actually helped while walking on ice and through snow. The red color was really nice... not too bright, but still enough to give me a pop of color in the middle of a gross gray winter.

Love these boots! I'm a hockey mom and wear them all of the time! I like the lower style for a change...not so clumpy! Run small like everyone said. I am usually a 9 or 9.5 (more typically 9.5) and went 10.

I ordered 3 different pairs of Sorel (tivoli, caribou and carnival. If you're looking for a heavy winter boot, go with caribou. I'm petite and they looked huge on my feet). I am keeping Tivoli because they look very cute, are very light and easy to walk. Order half size up. I usually wear 5.5 in boots (5 in Uggs) and 5.5 did fit but to move my toes freely and be able to wear a thicker sock I ordered 6. I wouldn't say they are super warm. Your feet won't be freezing (for example when it's 5 degrees, I live in Chicago) but also they don't seem as warm and cozy as in Uggs for example. The reason I bought them is that they are waterproof however I haven't had a chance to test that feature yet.

These shoes are so light and very comfortable. I wear an 8.5 in gym shoes, but for boots I got a 9 and it fit perfect! They are super warm and the tread on the bottom of the shoes makes them nice and safe.

I purchased these Sorels to replace another pair that I had used heavily for six seasons. I am typically a 9½. The 9½ Sorel Tivoli II felt tight. I kept the size 10 boots. I broke them in at an all day high school Nordic ski meet in northern Minnesota in below zero temperatures! I was able to wear two pairs of wool socks underneath; one thin pair and one thicker. I was outside the entire day, so did use toe warmers. My feet stayed warm throughout the day. I was hiking up and down hills and through the woods to follow the race. I found the boots extremely comfortable and easy to walk in-they are not heavy boots. I highly recommend them.

I needed a pair of black warm cozy boots and a pair of black rain boots. These boots took care of both needs, plus they are super comfortable and super cute.

Extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. I was afraid they would feel bulky or heavy, and they are very nice and stylish for a snow boot! I read reviews ahead of time and decided to go up Half a size and found it to be a perfect fit, even has a little extra wiggle room for thicker socks. Very happy with the purchase!

Nice boot, but as many others have stated the Sorel sizing is way off. I normally wear a 5 in women's boots so I ordered a 5 and a half but it is too small and too narrow for my foot. Need the next full size up so my feet can move in it. Sorel needs to make these with different widths too because for a medium width, these are way too narrow for my short wide feet.

I love the boots especially the quarry color. They run a little short so I ordered a half size up. I did put a pair of Superfeet in the boots for more arch support when walking.

I loved these boots from the moment I took them out of the box. They are stylish and sturdy and the lining is so soft. I wear between 8½ and 9 shoes and everyone was saying they ran small. I ordered a 9 and feel like they feel a little big in my normal socks. I am keeping them though as I can wear a heavier sock with them. I cannot wait for the snow so I can wear them!

These boots are terrific! Lightweight (so great for packing for a trip) and yet very warm! And I get compliments whenever I wear them!

These boots are absolutely beautiful! They're also incredibly comfortable. I read a review prior to purchase that they run about half size small. I normally get a 7 so ordered the 7 and a half and that was perfect (thanks to that reviewer saved me an exchange!). Overall, they made me want to do a little dance when I put them on.

Nice looking, warm. I bought them to help me deal with ice/snow. I haven't had to walk on ice yet. Another nice feature is that they are waterproof. I am usually a narrow, but this medium seems to work fine for me. I always have to wear orthodics, so I can't tell you about how the arch support is.

This is a great looking snow boot. I haven't worn them yet, but they are comfortable. I always go up a size in boots to account for thicker socks. I like that they come up to the ankle but aren't too bulky.

These boots are adorable and comfortable. I always wear a 7 1/2 shoe so I ordered the 8 based on the other comments. The 8 fit perfectly with warm, thick socks.

Just got these yesterday, and they look and feel awesome! I'm an adult with the unfortunate foot size of 4. 99% of the time I have to shop in the kids section, and the boots there are made more cheaply, i.e., I can feel every rock and pebble under foot. Fortunately, the size 5 Sorel boot runs small enough to accommodate me, so I'm thrilled b/c the sole of the boot is solid and the look is hip. Finally! My 2 pairs of Sorel kids snow boots are truly waterproof, so hoping these adult ones will be too. Sorel is a great brand.

I purchased these specifically for a trip to Iceland and they were PERFECT. Not only did they keep my feet warm and dry but they were so comfortable. Only minor issue was that the back rubbed my Achilles a bit but it was easily resolved by wearing a second pair of socks.
