I agree with the other reviewers about the sizing - it runs at least a half size small. I definitely felt the curve in the front part of the footbed that you see from the side (look at the lower black portion) - a little like wearing elf shoes. But they're stylish and much lighter in weight than many of the other Sorel styles.

Beautiful stylist warm boot. Fit more snug then I liked even after going a half size up. It seems to be more narrow then I expected.

I loved these boots so much, but after a second winter, the trim around the foot started wearing away (see photos). Really too bad because otherwise they are warm, waterproof, comfortable and nice looking for snow boots. I just expected them to last longer.

This boot runs a half size too small and is really poorly made. I wore them lightly for about a month and all the pipping around the toe came off (see photos). They already look like they are falling apart. Highly disapointed considering how much they cost and the brand. I have owned other Sorel boots with no problems but these ones in particular did not meet my expectations.

Why are my feet always cold and slightly dampish when I wear these, regardless of the weather and amount of snow? I thought I would love these but after a month of wearing these, I'm disappointed and I don't understand. I have them on today. There is no snow. Temp is 25 degrees. My feet are freezing despite heavy socks. Cute, but dunno...

I have a large collection of boots due to bad feet that get cold easily. These boots are adorable and I shopped hard to find them (I think Zappos was sold out that winter), but they are really quite uncomfortable, with structural pieces rubbing my ankle inside the boot, even with substantial socks, and not much insulation to keep your feet warm. So I don't wear them much, sad to say.

Be warned! While stylish, these boots rub really badly on the back of the heels (basically where the rubber meets the suede upper on the back of the boot). I have had my pair for two years now and they still have not broken in properly. I typically wear two pairs of thick socks to try and avoid getting blisters. I would not recommend these for comfort.

I really wanted to love these boots, but I couldn't even get my foot into them because they were so narrow. If you have wider feet than "narrow" don't waste your time ordering them. You will only end up disappointed.

I bought these boots to play in the snow, they did not deliver, my feet were cold after 30 minutes in the snow. I am very disappointed, now I need to order new boots.

Based on the great reviews of these shoes, I decided to give them a try. I just moved to New York City and was looking for just this sort of shoe (waterproof, warm, traction). I tried in two sizes and they just did not work for me. I am a 7½/8 and tried both of these sizes. Neither felt like a good fit, either too small or too big. I kept the 8 since I needed something fast and almost slipped in the train station (what happened to the traction?!?). That was a bummer because I could almost forgive the not perfect fit if they did what they were supposed to do. I have been looking all over for the Tivoli (originals). My friend has a pair and they are so comfortable! But these are all I could find. I am tempted to try to return them (I wore them for one day), but might just have to eat the cost. I am glad so many people are happy with them, but I will have to keep looking.

I was really hoping these boots would keep my feet toasty warm in these Northeast winters. I was looking for a replacement for my 15 year old Columbia boots and unfortunately these are going back. There was not nearly enough insulation in the foot bed area. Without even tromping through the snow my feet felt cold and damp.

T.I.N.Y! I absolutely LOVE these boots but beware. This style of Sorel are RIDICULOUSLY small! I usually wear a size 10, 101/2, or 11 and I had to order a size 12(!!). It's really unfortunate because nobody can get the shoes if everybody is ordering 2 sizes up. I'm really disappointed, Sorel! Thank you Zappos for being awesome as usual and having this crazy size!

I so wanted these to work! They're really cute and work with pants tucked in or worn over (so long as the pants aren't too narrow). They felt okay wearing them around the house although a bit tight. I wear a 6.5 and ordered up a half size based on reviews. The first time I wore them outside, however, my toes were frozen almost immediately and it's only in the 20s in Chicago today! They're also very stiff and not terribly comfortable to walk in. The sole feels supportive but arch support is completely absent and there's certainly no way you can fit inserts in these. I think a large part of the problem is that they are fairly tight and were probably cutting off the circulation in my feet somewhat. (I actually had to take them off at work to get my feet warm again.) Walking to the train station and sitting on the train, I could feel the cold right through these. Maybe I got a defective pair, I don't know. I am thankful that Zappos took pity on me and is allowing me to return them for a full refund even though they've been worn once. Unless you live someplace where you truly need very little insulation from your winter boots, I'd say avoid these entirely. But if you do get them, don't say you weren't warned.

I was absolutely in love with these boots that were purchased by my husband as a Christmas present. I wore them probably 10 to 15 times and the piping between the waterproof section to the suede section started peeling off (both shoes, inside and outside). Very disappointing. Additionally, I researched thinking maybe the company would warranty them, but they only warranty things for one year, regardless of them times they are worn, which is few times with this type of shoe in our climate. There appears to be some type of defect with the piping material they used as I have been very careful when wearing these shoes. The problem does not appear to be from rubbing but the stop coat of the piping is cracking and peeling off. I had these for 13 months before I noticed the peeling of the piping area, so I would not purchase this shoe if you are buying it for the long term and expecting them to look nice after 12 months. My Timberlands and Uggs I paid about the same for I have had for over 4 years and they are still looking great.

So disappointed. I had the previous version of this very style so I ordered the same size. Wrong. I had to go up a full size from my usual Sorel size (1.5 full sizes from my regular shoes!) but then the boot was too wide. Not sure why Sorel decided to change their sizing, but it's NOT for the better. Now I have no clue what size I wear. Grrrrr.

After wearing only a few times the paint/leather on the upper part of the boot started to peel off!!! Not pleased!!!! I was really excited to get these boots. I don't think it's acceptable for $130+ pair of boots to peel. Especially, when they've only hit snow once. Plus, I can't return because I threw the box out. They fit great, but the quality isn't worth the price.

I ordered one size bigger and I cannot get my feet into the boots. Who makes boots that do not have extra room to get your feet into them.

Do not buy these boots. Do not let the faux fur fool you: They are not temperature-rated. There is inadequate insulation between the sole of the boot and your foot. I called Sorel to inquire - maybe my pair was missing something? They said they are considered fashion boots and not winter boots. I live in Boston and these are not warm enough even to just walk around the corner with my dog. And Sorel would not stand behind their product and do anything about it. Buy these if you think they are cute, and you will not be outside in cold weather for more than five minutes. Otherwise, buy a pair that is rated for cold temperatures and actually has some insulation.

I live in Michigan, and walk dogs for a living, so I need well made, quality boots that you can actually walk in. These are not those boots. Do not waste your hard earned money.
