Definitely runs short, but plenty generous in the heel. A weird combination.

I was surprised these were not as bulky as pictured. I love Sorel and these do not disappoint. Warm cozy and easy to walk in. They are a bit narrow and fit snug with socks they run a 1/2 size small. I wear 7-7.5 and the 8 fit well.

Does run small, but I ordered 1/2 size larger. Runs narrow but going up in size helped. I ordered the brown and it is a great looking and well made boot. Fast shipping also.

I really like this boot. A very good choice! I usually wear a 8.5 with a slender foot and most shoes do not fit well as I have a bone problem and shoes usually hurt right on the big joint and the top of my foot. I ordered a sz 9 to leave room for thick socks. They fit well and allow room but are not too wide either. The back was a bit stiff as someone else pointed out in their review, but after wearing them a few times it softened up and they are fine now. I have not tested them in snow yet. I mostly got them for everyday winter weather in the PNW. They don't make my feet sweaty or too hot and are so comfortable, which is great.

Saw these boots on someone and thought they looked great and different. These are my first Sorel boots. I normally wear a size 7, but had to size up to a 7.5 to give me room for socks. Have not worn them yet, but we are expecting a big storm tonight and can't wait to try them out.

This boot runs small. I am a fairly consistent size 9. I ordered a 9.5 based on other reviews and am sending them back for a 10.

Awesome! I love them!! Bought a 9 because I'm between 8.5 and 9 and they fit perfectly. They are warm and wonderful and I can drive in them. Most waterproof boots are clunky and make driving difficult, but these are great. Not heavy to walk in either! I've gotten many compliments because they're cute too!

Love these boots! First time I wore these was to work and I work retail and stand for 9 hours. My feet were warm and comfortable the entire day.

I love these boots and the fact that they are waterproof. The first time I wore them I received so many compliments. They look great with jeans or leggings and they kept my feet warm and dry. They are extremely comfortable, I could walk in them all day. I am so glad I took a chance and purchased these boots as they are becoming my go to boots especially since we have been experiencing a lot of rain. I too recommend a 1/2 size larger.

Love these snow boots! They are very comfortable and warm. They look great too! Exactly what I was looking for. I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains and they are perfect for winter!

3/4 Orthotic user: These boots are gorgeous and all the details are excellent. They fit my orthotics with a nice amount of room around the top of my feet. I wear a 9, but bought 10.5 to accommodate the orthotics. I hope these will work and trying them inside they are great so far. These are a smaller version of the big style, so bootcut jeans fit easily over the top of them. They probably go just about 3 or 4 inches over the ankle.

The best snow boots!!! SO warm and comfy...I went up half a size and they fit perfectly...very flattering on the foot. Not a bulky or heavy boot at all just right for the snow and walking around in it!!! LOVE THEM!!!

I put in quite a bit of time searching for warm and waterproof boots as our winters can be long in WNY. These boots did not disappoint, they are comfortable, and warm, as well as waterproof, I would definitely recommend. Order a 1/2 size up.

These are great boots. Warm and the lower height is much more wearable and comfortable than the higher heavier style.

I really like these winter boots! I have a tall pair of Sorel and really needed a shorter one to just slip on and run errands in the winter. I wear a size 8 and sometimes an 8 1/2. I bought these in a 9 due to the reviews and knowing that most winter boots I have tried on seemed a size small. These are pretty comfortable and VERY cute! I would love to have the black pair too!

I love the looks of this boot but thought it was a slip-on, it's not. I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit good even with a heavy sock. Returning them cause I wanted an easy slip-on boot.

Love these! I missed getting these last year, as my big size sells out fast so I made sure to order them this Summer! As suggested, I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my usual shoe size but wasn't sure it was a good fit, so I then ordered a full size larger than my shoe size: perfect! Bonus: they don't make my big feet look like gun boats. return is simple, which is great

Purchased these boots and could not be happier. They are very comfortable, durable, warm and easy to get on and off. They seem to run a little small, so I'm glad that I ordered a 1/2 size up.

Love these - finally some waterproof boots that are stylish enough where I can wear them all day.. and comfy! My Stuart Weitzman 5050's remain my favorite boots of all time, but those don't mix well with winter. These will help tide me over. I found these to be TTS - wearing them with medium thickness socks and leggings is no issue (but I do have narrow feet). If I wanted to wear super thick socks I may have sized up, but these boots are fine with a simple crew sock for me. I do travel weekly and I'm hoping these don't set off the metal detector at the airport (will find out next week) - if they don't, I may have to pick them up in Elk too. :)

I appreciate the excellent customer service from Zappos. I love my Sorels now that I have the right size, returning/exchanging was super easy. I cannot wait to look for summer shoes from Zappos!

In the past, I've had winter boots that were really clunky. I did some research to find the best ankle winter boot, and I was led here (also the UGG Adirondack, but those are much more pricey). I got these in the curry color, and they're super cute. Very warm and comfortable. I had the Joan of Arctic before this, and these are much lighter and easier to walk in around my college campus. The only issue that I encountered is that the back is a bit stiff before the boots are completely broken in. Also, I'm a true size 9.5 (including in other Sorel shoes), but the 9.5 that I originally ordered were too small to wear with thick socks. I got size 10 instead, and they fit like Cinderella's slipper!

Nice light weight Sorel. However, the fit is small. A 10 is more like a 9. Order a full size up if you plan to use as a snow boot.

I usually wear an 8 and bought a 9, and they are perfect with heavy socks. I really love these boots. They handled the recent snow beautifully, kept my feet warm and dry, and looked stylish too. They are not heavy feeling on my feet and are really comfortable. I could walk in them forever.

These boots are really comfortable and warm. They come up a few inches over the ankle, so they have done really well for snowy Chicago days. They have been waterproof so far (one year of wear). Size up a full size if you want to be able to wear thick socks. I am a true 9, and both the 9 and 9½ were too small. The 10 fits perfectly.
