Light, airy jacket. Perfect for mild weather. Great for light rain.

Great jacket that is both warm and lightweight. I don't like wearing anything bulky while I am driving, so this is a great warm jacket without the bulk. I live in PA where it can get pretty cold in January and February. Will need to layer for extreme cold, but great for fall and early winter. The outside is water resistant for rain and snow. Convenient chest pocket for cell phone.

The jacket arrived well packaged and is of great quality. I already had a navy blue one to compliment my dress clothes and this gives me other options. The jacket is not too heavy or too light but gives me the warmth I need. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone. I got this on sale so it was a great deal.

This jacket fit really good. It is comfortable, stops the wind and is warmer than you would expect for such a light jacket.

Bought the Ascender jacket for xc sking last year and it worked great. Keeps you warm while skiing in the cold but not so warm that you overheat. Great wind blocking is a plus. Liked it so much I purchased another this year.

This jacket was purchased for my teenager who prefers lightweight jackets. He likes the look and feel of the jacket. Perfect for fall.

Jacket never arrived. Tried getting help from customer service but both the representative and the carrier were no help at all. Package was delivered to wrong house, carrier acknowledged it but told Columbia it was delivered to the right address. Dont use Columbia for online purchases!!

Jacket fits well, but slightly baggier than expected. Still a good piece for windy days or heading out with friends.

Perfect lightweight iacket for mild damp PNW weather. I wear an XL and it is true to size. Only downfall is that there are no inside pockets

I have worn previous iterations of this jacket in size medium, including my current jacket, and consider it my favorite, go-to light, softshell, windproof jacket. Unfortunately this time the jacket was cut like a potato sack, too big in the chest, shoulders, and upper arms. On top of that the zipper malfunctioned the first time I used it, coming undone from the bottom when I zipped it up. I returned it immediately.
