This is a great jacket for almost anything. Very warm for its weight. Very pleased with my purchase!

We purchased this jacket for my son who is a college student. When he received it, he wore it all day. Never took it off.
Very comfortable. Great chest pocket where the cell phone fits easily.
Great purchase.

Purchased this jacket to wear with my work uniform. The Buffalo color matches my brown work pants pretty well. Looks great in casual attire (jeans and khakis) as well. As I'm 6 feet tall and broad shouldered, I'd prefer to have a 3XL. However, the 2XL fit seems just about perfect for uniform wear. My only complaint about the fit, other than the lack of a 3XL, is the sleeves. The length is fine, but they seem tight. I don't have Popeye'esque forearms or overly large biceps, but Columbia Softshell jackets always seem to have tighter sleeves than other brands. It's not uncomfortable, but doesn't leave a lot of room for other layers.

This is my favorite soft shell jacket. The fit and style are excellent. I like the handwarmer and chest pockets because they are lined with soft fabric, and the cuff adjustments are also a nice feature.

I read other reviews that said this jacket runs small and that the sleeves are short. I ordered a medium thinking it would fit me well. After some debate I ended up exchanging it at a store for a small which fits nicer and looks cleaner. I don't recall the last time i have ever worn a small. I suggest trying one on before you make your purchase.
Also, before exchanging the product i tested out the medium on a night where it was about 30 degrees(to pick out a Christmas tree), and quickly learned this coat was not for this type of weather. I decided I wouldn't be wearing a sweatshirt underneath and opted to get the small and keep this for milder spring and fall weather.
Other than figuring out the size the jacket is great.

I work in a business casual environment, so this is great to wear to work when the temps are above freezing. I am also outside a great deal in the fall and spring. So far, this jacket has met the challenges of the midwest, heavy wind, mist, and wintery mix.

I purchased this jacket for several of our salesmen and had it branded with our company logo. The jacket looks great on all of them, and fits true to size. It's a great weight for moderate winters. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he is very tall. Most jackets come down awkwardly short. This one fit perfectly!

When it comes to my job I'm required to work in any weather conditions and still maintain a professional look with khakis and a polo. This is my absolute favorite jacket that works with my entire wardrobe and I can easily layer clothing underneath when it gets a bit colder and still look good. When it's wet and raining the water just beads right off of the material its great! The adjustable cuffs work great at preventing wind from getting into your sleeves as do the adjustable waste drawcord. I normally wear a medium size shirt and I found that the medium was a bit too small and wasn't long enough for my upper torso, so I opted for the large and it was a perfect fit. I like pairing this with the utilizer polo shirt, ultimate ROC pants, and the Newton Ridge plus hiking boots. I couldn't recommend these products any more than I already do.

With my job as a landscape designer I am sometimes braving harsh conditions such as rain, sleet and wind. My Ascender jacket allows me to complete my job without worrying about the conditions while still looking professional to potential and current customers.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he wanted something warm but stylish. He also wanted the warmth of something like a peacoat without the bulk and this fits the bill perfectly. The sleeves run a little short but not so much as to be a bother.

I really love this product. It is very versatile and I can wear it all the time. It was slightly small in the waist area, other than that it was true to size.
