This is a follow up to my initial input. The jacket performs as advertised and to specifications for warmth, fit, and rain protection. I wore it Wednesday windy, light rain, and temperatures dropping into the 40s. I was in and out of the vehicle between stores for an hour. I was very comfortable and could not detect any issues with the DWR application on the outer layers. This jacket performed as well as my KUIU and Sitka hunting clothing. I am 6'2" at 220lbs. XL regular is good for me.

Just what my husband wanted great fit and look

I highly recommend this jacket. In fact this is my second one I have bought just like this. Original one was from 6 yrs ago, ripped in the front so I had to finally replace it. But still have the old one & use it for a work jacket.

This jacket was perfect for my teenage son, Who does not traditionally wear jackets or sweatshirts. It is lightweight yet wind and water resistant. He felt like he could move in the jacket and that it would not restrict him. He likes the chest pocket as well.

Not too heavy, but keeps you very warm. Gunna have to get another color. Great as a base coat under a heavier one when it's real cold in the Midwest.

I liked the product, quality seems good enough. But you need to be careful about the size because it seems a little small when compared with other columbia items

The material looks very nice and smooth. I really liked the graphite color scheme. It runs slightly baggy but that works great for layering. I'd go a size down for a tapered fit. Very happy with product

Overall very satisfied with this product. It is lightweight but warm With fleece lining. The material is durable and is resistant to stains. Would recommend.

I am a big Columbia product fan. I enjoy a lot of their clothing for hiking and backpacking and even urban life. This jacket is definitely more for the city streets or as an everyday light jacket. The jacket itself is really nice against light rain and wind but the velcro wrist straps are not meant to keep wind out. I actually like to wear this with a sweater underneath and it works really well for keeping the heat in. I love the style and the color pattern. Definitely recommend for light use and great style.

This jacket is very comfortable. I have very broad shoulders, and the 2xl jacket fits perfect.

This jacket sheds water like a fish. Light weight yet windproof and warm. Makes a perfect jacket for spring hikes in the Smokey Mountains where weather conditions can change rapidly.

Water slides right off. Is very warm and roomie! Great Jacket to have for any type of winter weather!

This is a really nice soft shell. This jacket is very light weight and really warm. Very comfortable jacket! I highly recommend.

I usually do not by soft shell jackets, but this one I wear everyday basically. I've worn it in the rain and noticed that the cold wind of winter doesn't come though like my other jackets. Great buy, and definitely would buy again.

This jacket fit my son perfectly. He wears it every day, even when it isn't even cold! He just loves the look of it; it has a more refined look than a regular fleece jacket.

Because when I need something, I need it to work tomorrownot just today.

These are great jackets! We bought them to have a business logo put on them. Love the drawstring at the bottom of the jacket. Can work for men or women .

Nice item for good price

I bought this jacket within the last 6-months. At first it was fine but after the first washing the zipper does not work. You can zip it up but then the bottom part comes out of the latch at the bottom that holds the zipper together and it unzips upwards. Very, very disappointed.

I always like the form and fit of your Ascender jacket! I have received compliments on the color I had purchased. It keeps me warm and like how the water repels off the jacket. Now only if you were to insert Gore-Tex as a waterproof liner, then it would be perfect!

This a great casual jacket, it will keep you warm at 44 F. you can use it at the office or at the mountainf while you are hiking. the size is petty accurate. I definitly would buy it again

This jacket is a great weight and perfect for moderate weather and temperatures. It fits perfect.

Overall style and material of this product feels very good. It did run a bit longer on the sleeves than I thought, making it look a little long on me. Using the cuff straps helps a bit but arms still scrunches up a bit.
