This jacket is comfortable and warm on cool days. The material is soft inside and out. I really like that the Ascender line offers this jacket with a hood. Great jacket! It was exactly what I was looking for.

It fits and works great as title.

This jacket is extremely comfortable for the days with the weather in the low-end 50s. When you don't want to bring a bulky coat and be too hot or wear just sweatshirt and be too cold. It's comfortable, light and flexible and looks good to boot.

I purchased this jacket more as a light protection from the wind and to keep me warm in day-to-day life. It fits well and does keep me warm. It does allow some wind to penetrate, so may need something to layer underneath when it is a cold windy day.

I've been looking for a comfortable windbreaker/rain jacket that wasn't just a fancy poncho and was able to keep me warm during the Fall/Spring seasons when it's cool but not quite cold. This is it! This is everything I've ever asked for and more.

I got this for my boyfriend since he needed a new jacket. He loved it as soon as he saw it! He wears it to work and to go out. It looks great on with anything you match it with. We live in LA and he's been using it for the rainy days we've been having it works perfect for his job since he's a Gardner. No drop of water goes inside! 100% recommend it. Will definitively buy in other colors!!!

The material of these Ascender jackets is very light with very good insulation, which makes it nicely warm and comfortable to wear. I own two and bought one alike for my wife (the Kruser Ridge) she loves it too. With that nice price, I'll get a couple for presents for my dad and brother for the next holidays.

Water proof, warm, sleek style. I love the added hoodie to the jacket.

I live in Wyoming above 7,000 feet...so any season can be a bit chilly. I have worn this jacket during the warmer days (~30) in the winter months with the wind blowing and I was super impressed with how warm it kept me as well as the wind resistance. This jacket will only see more time outdoors as we enter the shoulder seasons and during those chilly evenings in the summer. Not only is jacket functional, but it fits and looks great as well. HIGHLY recommend!

Keep me nice and dry. Perfect on rainy and windy days. Only thing I wish is that the hood could be adjustable as well.

I was having trouble finding a good fitting softshell. I was looking for something to hike in when the weather was in the high 30s through the 40s, Especially in the wind and light rain. Several other brands where tight in the shoulder and/or the sleeves where a little short. The Columbia fit perfectly. I am 6'/200lb and have long arms. I also really liked that the fabric is more flexible than some of the other softshells. I haven't worn it in the rain yet, but it has keep me warm in the wind. I think it is going to be just right for hiking in a wide variety of conditions. My biggest complaint is that the color choices are boring.

These jackets are great! the texture is amazing and it isn't stiff like other brands.They are water resistant. I actually have one with the hood and one without because they are so comfortable. They are really warm and I have been able to wear it all winter long! I would definitely recommend getting one and I will likely get another one in the future.

I got this jacket as a gift for my significant other! He loved it, it fits great. It's warm but not too bulky.

This is a solid product. It keeps light rain and wind out and the lined interior is a nice touch. The threads came a little loose around the inner zipper after a week of wearing, but I didn't really complain at this price. Otherwise, quality is typical of a midrange Columbia product. I like this jacket and wear it most days to my outdoor-oriented, business-casual job. I suspect that it will still be performing well after a year of everyday wear.

I bought a cheap soft shell jacket several years ago to wear after workouts, and have been wanting one a bit more stylish in a brighter color. This jacket fit the bill, and I have been extremely happy with the choice. It keeps wind and rain out perfectly, and I've worn it on days where it was just above freezing and was very comfortable and warm with this and a fleece hoodie. It is a slim fitting jacket, so if you want more room or plan to use this as an outer layer as I do order a size up, you won't be sorry. The quality of the jacket is outstanding, very well made with quality materials. I recommend with no hesitation.

Bought this for my son and very nice & perfect fit.

My son is a college student. He refuses to wear a winter coat on campus for he gets too hot. Fortunately, this is a great windbreaker and with the hood, makes for a wonderful water resistant jacket. He loves it!
