So disappointed - the jacket fits great, looks great but has a really strong chemical smell, somewhere between bad mens cologne and rotting garbage. Against care instructions, I washed seven times, with unsecented detergents and vinegar. Hung it in the sun and wind for two days. Cannot wear it. Will go straight to Goodwill. Waste of money. Wife bought a Steens jacket - no issues. Maybe the Ascender fabric treatment is to blame, or the polyester is recycled from plastic that held strongly scented products. Either way, a loss.

Zipper is cheap and flimsy. Not as of the same quality of Columbia that I have purchased in the past. Seems to be thinner as well.

The hood is not functional with a draw string to tighten the hood. Otherwise, the jacket seems to a good buy.

This jacket is very thin and not warm. More of a windbreaker. I would not wear it in temperatures colder than 60F.

Hood does NOT have any drawstring. It blows off in the wind. It's awful. I can't imagine how they'd design a hood not to have a drawstring.

Trash! This jacket was horrible and not worth it at all.

The front zipper is too fragile and keeps locking and jamming at the very bottom. We were unable to re track the zipper to un freeze the un tracking We just sent our new purchase back after frustrating attempts to remedy the jamming Zipper problem.

fit body great.sleeve was poor.could not get jacket off with any kind of shirt on.very dissapointed.
