I have 3 of these jackets in multiple colors. This is my first one with a hood, but I love these jackets. Warm, Dry, and just all around a MUST HAVE.

I bought this jacket in olive green last month and I'm very happy with all its features. It is an elegant lightweight jacket, breathable, runs true to size and has high-quality material.

I own a previous Columbia jacket very similar to this one. I have had it for about 10 years. It became my go to jacket for multiple seasons. It was time to upgrade. I look forward to getting maximum usage out of the new one.

Jacket looks amazing. Fits well. Material is super soft. It rained the first day I got it and stood the test of warmth and kept me perfectly dry.

Dog walk in 46 degree weather with a tee shirt and short sleeve shirt underneath the jacket, about a mile in, I had to unzip the jacket. The hood is great too, kept my head warm until we got going.

A coat with fantastic quality, just runs a little small in the shoulders. Definitely not too bad though. I love my new coat!

I love these jackets. These is the fourth or fifth jacket I have bought. I love the colors!!!

This is the second jacket I have purchased. The reason is I wore out the first one after three years of heavy use. It is just right as a light jacket in moderate temps for wind and rain. I add my down jack under it in colder weather and it is nice and toasty. This jack with or with out a hood is perfect for layering. I am vary hard on clothes and coats and always order a size larger for ease of movement. I am a XL size blue collar worker and always look for value in things I buy. This jacket has a very high value for what it cost.

I'm 6'3", and 240 lbs., and this jacket fits perfect. I wanted a soft shell jacket with a hood. I am not a big fan of standard raincoat material. This is light enough where it is not bulky, but warm enough for 40 degrees with a shower. Haven't been out in a downpour, but you will stay dry in a shower. Can add a vest underneath if it gets a little colder. I highly recommend.

The material on the outside is sturdy and not a windbreaker material. It's warm and light at the same time with plenty of space and not snug and not too big. The color is just as pictured. Definitely would buy again in another color. It was a gift for a male 5'9 200lbs

This is a nice fairly lightweight jacket. It will keep you warm in fairly chilly weather.

Columbia impresses with this well made jacket, Sleeves seem a little long for me but overall the fit is excellent. It has just enough features to keep me happy with things like deep sidepockets.

This jacket is exactly what I needed: a well fitting, true to size warm soft shell jacket. The 2 front pockets are big enough to fit what you need. The hood is adjustable with Velcro on the back of the head to keep it from going over your face. Only downside for me is that I can't tighten the hood on the front to keep it from blowing off. Lining keeps me comfortably warm.

I received the jacket wasn't expecting it to have a lining in it. So it's warmer than I expected, which is great. A little larger that I was expecting as well but not too big, more of a loose fit. My only issue is the zipper often gets caught in the jacket material quite a bit. I feel like the zipper needs to be upgraded. But overall it's good!!

You have ne of the best quality have ever bought

Months ago, I ordered 2 Ascender soft shell jackets in size XL since most of my jackets are XL. They fit okay, but slightly big. I decided to order another in Black in a Large which is a great fit on me. It is form-fitting but not snug to where I feel confined. The quality of the Ascender soft shell jackets is 5 star, and they look and feel great both on the inside and out. I gave the XL jackets to my dad and ordered more colors in the large! Bottom line, these are great mid-weight jackets for cool, cold or even rainy conditions.
