If there's a 5 offered in a shoe brand it's my go to but I ended up exchanging for a 5.5. Also, I have other Sorel boots in a 5. As a Newish Mama these are an easy slip on and go. They are cute with leggings/skinny jeans with bunched up socks or leg warmers. I've only worn these with normal socks they're wonderfully warm waterproof and easy to wear.
I've raved this brand so much laity I wonder if I should just be a brand rep-you cannot go wrong with Sorel they're worth every penny.

Feels very high quality, definitely order a half size up!! I'm between a 7.5 and 8 and went with an 8 and they fit, but on the snug side.

The style of these boots is great for a rainy day in the city and for the outdoors. They fit true to size as far a my shoe number goes. For wider feet I would recommend sizing up because the boots are on the snug side. Overall they are comfortable. The shoe bed is on the hard side, so someone who needs special support might consider trying the boots in person rather than ordering online. My only concern with this boot model is how fast the heel can get wear out since it doesn't seem seem to have an extra height. Overall I'm pleased and happy the boots look stylish and are water repellent!

Love these boots. I can wear them with jeans, my work outfits so I don't have to wear heels walking the city, and before I head to the slopes. I would recommend sizing half a size up so you can wear thick socks.

The leather is stiff, but I find that to be a sign of good quality. Just wear thicker socks.
Super warm, cozy and high quality boots. I would 100% buy these again.

I am obsessed with these boots. I had read reviews on them and I saw a lot of people said they ran slightly small so I ordered a half size up and they are perfect! I love these boots and would definitely recommend them. They are so cute!

I love these boots! They keep my feet warm and dry! I would have gone up a half size only because I like to wear two pairs of socks when it's cold. But, if you just wear a thin pair of socks you should be fine.

Love these boots! Definitely order a 1/2 size up as they run small. I usually do a 8 1/2 and the 9 fit perfect. They are great for the weekend and for rainy weather. I wear them pretty much anytime I leave the house now.

These boots definitely run small! They can be tight on the top of the foot where the laces begin so if you have wide feet, I would consider going up two half sizes. Overall, great quality boot! I am never disappointed in the quality and durability of Sorel's boots.

when looking for a rain/all weather boot I wanted something comfortable, fashionable and of course waterproof. I am happy to say I found all that with the out n' about bootie. I'm very happy with shoes and can't wait to order my next pair. :)

I was looking for something for rain and snow that looked good. I ordered these a half size up and they fit just right with a regular sock. If you want to wear a thicker sock, I'd order a whole size up. I was able to wear in a brief snow storm and my feet stayed warm and dry. Love these!

I bought my first pair of Sorel boots about 4 years ago and there still going strong. Perfect boots for Michigan winters. Since I am very pleased with my first pair and was looking for a fall boot. I decided the womens Out and About Duck Boot would be my next purchase.So far so GOOD!!! Thanks SOREL

My second pair, love these boots, great for Fall Rainy days and for winter light snowy day. Medium thick socks will do fine for rainy day wear, thick socks for light snowy day. Will keep your feet dry and warm. True to size so if u plan to wear them for winter weather it would be good to go up a size to make room for thicker socks.
Will be getting another pair in a different style.

I am originally between a 7.5-8 depending on the shoe. I originally ordered an 8.5 after reading that the shoes fit a bit small. The 8.5 fit too small for me, so I went with the 9 and they’re perfect for me! I usually wear sneakers, so this is a big change for me, but I actually like how they look. They’re definitely easy to style! I walked around in them for a bit and they don’t seem uncomfortable at all. I have yet to wear them in rainy weather, so I’m not sure how well they work in that environment. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend you try them out!

I loved the look of these but I was looking for something to do a ton of walking in. Although the shoe fit well in the toe (i usually wear a 6.5 and I ordered a 7) it slipped at the heel. Breaking in may have helped but I don't have the time or money for that. I returned for something that fit better. Bummer.

They run small, they require some break in time, and yes they will rub your ankles (raw) if you don't wear a taller thick sock BUT....they are so cute! The first day I threw them on and ran around all day, maybe a bad idea as I had on short no show socks. My ankles were rubbed raw to the point of bleeding. I am positive with the appropriate socks that this wouldn't have happened. However, it did not discourage me one bit. After reading previous reviews I knew I needed to order 1/2 to a full size up and I have narrow feet so that wasn't an issue for me. I got these boots at a great price and love them, just know they will require some break in time!
