Comfortable and nice looking. I don't have wide feet and never purchased wide width shoes but prefer slightly roomier toe boxes. These feel roomy enough for me.

Shoes rarely fit me right off the bat. These were amazing! I have the start of a bunion on one foot that I have to mind , else I hobble through the day. Not with these! Wide enough toe box to be comfortable, while still stylish. They are a little more casual than I had initially wanted, but the comfort convinced me to keep them. So glad I found this brand!

Bought these shoes to take with me to Washington, DC. Checking all the sites, walking from 10am through to the night, feet were comfortable the entire time. Airy shoe and foam padding in shoe made all the difference. Great buy.

I am very pleased with these shoes. They look good and feel wonderful. I think they will work well for travel and walking, even though the cushioning isn't particularly thick (the soles are high density foam or something like that, rather than leather). The very soft leather of the uppers will be kind to swollen feet. A clincher is that they are water proof. They look classy with pants or skirts--not too dressy or too sporty. My size 7's fit perfectly.

This shoe feels AMAZING. The leather is really soft, and the sole is very flexibly and cushy. I ended up returning these, because I didn't like how dark the black looked (I wanted to use these in spring as well as fall/winter), but it was the hardest return ever. They don't feel like they would cause blisters, and I'm considering trying the brown pair. The waterproofing is a great bonus--I've been looking for Oxfords for a while, and it's hard to find a cute pair with water resistance.

I previously purchased this shoe in a lighter color that I did not care for the color. This brown is a true brown and is very lightweight. I wore them the first time for a trip to the San Diego Zoo and they were very comfortable. I am very happy with this purchase and always happy with Zappos' service.

I love these shoes. They fit true to size and are very comfy. I really needed a cute shoe to dress up my jeans outfits when I wear them to work and these fit the bill while still being comfy.

Love this shoe! EXTREMELY comfortable and stylish. As the ad mentions, there is no bending at the toe area, where typical shows show wear. Great design and build quality. Well worth the price and I imagine they'll be rotating through my wardrobe on a regular basis. I'm thinking I might order the brown ones to add more diversity to the mix. Enjoy : )

This shoe is high quality, very nice looking. Comfortable out of the box if the width is right for you. I wear a 9.5 between a medium and a wide (depends on shoe). In this style I needed a 9 (runs a little long) and a wide width (not available). 9M was just too tight for my bunions. Back they go. I really wanted to keep them though. Nice shoe.

I have been delighted with these oxfords since the day they arrived. They did not require a break in period as they were comfortable since day one. I have worn them while traveling and they withstood the rigors of the airports. I highly recommend these shoes.

I have never written a review before, but these shoes deserve one. Hands down the best shoes I have ever purchased. I needed a dressy, comfortable shoe for work that keeps my feet warm and dry. These are the nicest waterproof shoes I have ever seen. I walk several miles each day (from my car to office, to various buildings, etc.), and heels were just not working. Plus, I was cold all the time. And then the rain. But now I never need another shoe! I wear these every single day, and they look great with everything. True to size, comfortable out of the box. (They come with black laces in addition to the maroon, at least the ones I bought did). I wish they came in a boot.

I have been looking for a nice sleek oxford to replace a pair of leather Eccos I love but are somewhat bulky/chunky. I saw these and after reading the great reviews (and knowing Zappos' awesome return policy!) I ordered a pair that came earlier this afternoon. They are exactly what I have been looking for! I wore them the rest of the afternoon. They are really comfortable with decent arch support and nice room in the toe box. They are rather shallow at the heel, which I like. This keeps the profile cute and feminine. My two very stylish daughters both gave them enthusiastic thumbs-up emojis after I sent them a photo. A goal of theirs: keep their mom from settling for an "old lady" vibe. Mission accomplished - at least when these beautiful shoes are concerned!

I love these shoes! As a teacher I am on my feet all day and these shoes are comfortable. I had to order a half size smaller than I usually wear, and doing so made the arch support feel more substantial.

Classy and incredibly comfortable. These shoes are a cross between masculine and feminine sexy without being geriatric. I have the black pair and I wear them with the burgundy shoe laces most of the time. What I appreciate is that there is NO blistering of my heels. I wish these came in RED. I am contemplating the brown pair.

These contemporary oxfords have got it all going on for my problem feet: Wide enough in the toe box, but still has enough style not to look like clodhoppers. Leather upper is soft and buttery but firm enough to give support, arch support is fantastic and there is enough bottom cushioning for my falling metatarsals. All around great shoe, versatile enough for pants or skirts, for the shoe challenged older person I am.

These shoes are amazing! I should preface this by saying I'm someone who travels quite a bit. Unfortunately I'm also a big "just incase" traveler. I try to pack lightly but it often doesn't happen. I usually pack a pair of the minimalist type tennis by Nike or Puma, a pair of boots, and maybe even some Sperry Topsiders. I first saw these shoes on a friend traveling through Scandinavia. I thought they were trendy yet classic, perfectly fitting into that European style of shoe. She raved they were extremely comfortable. So I decided to buy a pair. I usually wear 9.5 in oxford type shoes and heels and a 10 in running shoes. I bought both in a 9.5 and 10 and kept the 9.5. Both were comfortable but the 10s slipped a bit and the 9.5 felt better at the break. I was a little concerned that I felt some top pressure on the toe box. It was minimal but got my attention while walking around the house. Once I walked out of the house I was fine and it didn't bother me at all. In fact I just checked them and the leather stretched so that the material doesn't even touch my toe while at rest now. I went on a 2 week trip and since I had only bought the shoes a couple days prior I didn't think it would be smart to travel without a backup pair of shoes. So just incase I brought two other pair of shoes. I wore the Ahnu Emery shoes 85% of the time only switching bc it matched an outfit better (not bc of a comfort issue). I recently went on a 7 day trip and brought only these ones. They worked out really well. I didn't do any hiking or anything like that. It was basically a city work trip. I also got lots of compliments. And they go well with a variety of outfits and styles. I would buy these again. I'm debating whether or not to buy another color bc it will only lead to the debate if which color to bring on trips. For the time being the Ahnu Emery in black is finally helping me downsize my luggage. :)

I bought these shoes after buying and returning about $1000 in shoes. i have an odd problem in that one foot is longer than the other, and one leg is longer than the other. Normally I have to have one shoe built up by half an inch, but these shoes are so comfortable that I haven't felt the need. And somehow one heel doesn't slip either. Must be magic! Some reviews pointed out that they don't offer as much support, but that's precisely why they are so comfortable, as if they're molding themselves to my feet. Plus, they're great-looking. I'm really happy with them.

Love these shoes! I have wider feet and have been shopping for oxfords and kept having to return the shoes because they were too narrow. The material is soft and comfy and I have worn these for 8+ hours without my feet hurting. These are versatile and can be used to dress up or down an outfit. I will most likely buy the same pair in a different color!
