softest leather but unable to tighten up with laces enough for my narrow foot.

Shoes were great right out of the box. Super comfy even without my orthotics. Since I plan on wearing them all day, I did have to remove the cushioned footbed so it would accommodate them. It would be nice if it was truly removable. Shoe looks great with tights, jeans and pants. Looking forward to purchasing another pair since I am going to be wearing these...a lot!

I walk a lot and commute often by train and bus. I usually wear sneakers but really wanted a flat comfortable shoe that will get me through the streets of NYC in style and comfort. This shoe is really cute. The leather is soft but looks like it will last awhile unless shoes are worn daily. My only complaint is I did not have enough wriggle room in the toe box. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8. After reading other reviews I ordered the 7 1/2. I'm returning them for the 8 and hope that will provide a better fit. A lot of reviewers said these were good for wide feet. I have to disagree. With socks, they can be pretty snug. I hope I don't have to order the 8 1/2 as they make be too long.

I really wanted these to fit because I think they are super cute shoes. However, the 8, which is what I always wear, is a tad too big. Thanks to Zappos and their easy exchange policy, I tried 7.5 which were a tad too tight. Would they stretch enough to be comfortable? Possibly, but I don't want to take the chance for this cost.

Very stylish, nice soft leather...will be perfect for people with healthy feet. There's just not enough heel or arch support for my aching feet.

These are really stylish shoes. Love the magenta laces with the black shoes. These shoes weren't as comfortable as I was expecting. They don't have the cushion sole or arch support you'd expect in a high end comfort shoe. While I don't have arch issues or flat feet, I feel flat footed when I walk in these. Otherwise they are true to size with lots of room for toes and your heel. The leather is soft and the suede heel is nice. I did find though that the suede color leaks off on things like clothing and hard surfaces. That was disappointing.

Love the Ahnus. Adequate arch support. Fit works for my size 11 more narrow feet. Flexible and sylish. Cute touch with maroon laces as contrast.

I adore these shoes. They're colorful w/o being garish and the optional orange or blue shoestrings give you the choice of funking them up or down. They look perfect w/skirts and dresses as well as work pants. As an 11M, the width is fine, but the length is almost too exact. Like if my toenails happen to be a hair too long, these shoes feel uncomfy by the end of the day (tmi?). Otherwise, they're the most cushioned, consistently comfortable shoes I've had in a long time, possibly ever.

The first pair had a weird stripe across the top - thank goodness for Zappo's 5-star return policy! The second pair were perfect. They are very comfortable except that they rub my heels at the top where the elastic meets sock/skin. However, when I wear them with some moleskin on my heels they are really comfortable. I wear them with skinny jeans or pencil skirts (for that preppy look). My first pair of "green" shoes, though, to be fair, they are so "neutral" (or muted?) they go with everything.

Pros: As far as oxfords go, these are probably the softest, most supple leather ones you could find. The leather is really gorgeous and high quality. The suede heel is a nice accent to make these a little less boring. The sole is nice and flexible. The black shoes come with burgundy laces and also black laces. I purchased the same size in these as my athletic shoes and they fit in length well giving me enough space in the toe box for my problem toes: bunions and bunionettes. I really hoped these would work for me. Cons: The insole is not removable and is hardly padded and the arch support is pretty much the same as what you'd find in flats. Thankfully the sole is quite flexible itself so a soft insole is not all that necessary. However, I need to use custom orthotics for my problem feet (bunions and bunionettes). And once I put the orthotics on top of the existing insole the shoe became too tight. I also have hard plate orthotics that I tried and those fit in the shoes fine because they don't go the length of the shoe. However, the deal breaker was that in order to get the proper length and space in the toe box for my feet, the heel on the shoes became too loose and since they are oxfords the three lace holes were not enough to cinch the ankle tight enough to prevent the heel from slipping. It's possible that some adhesive heel grippers could have remedied this problem but for the cost of these shoes I want them to fit properly in the heel without adding adhesives. So I had to send them back.

So close! Exactly what I was looking for in terms of style and comfort. Comfortable footbed with okay support, soft (waterproof!) leather, and I loved that the heel part was stretchy fabric since so many shoes dig into the backs of my heels. However, what killed these for me was the stitching that goes over the top of the foot. The seam goes right across my bunion and even though the leather is soft and the shoe is plenty wide, I just know that seam will hurt. Sadly, back they go and the hunt for comfy, stylin' oxfords continues.

Nice looking shoe. Very flat inside so no arch or insole support. No extra room in toe box for inserts. Minor heel slippage. Ordered in my usual size, 9.5; was too short.

I have Ahnu sneakers which I love, and was eager to try these. I ordered them in an 8, same size as my Ahnu sneakeds, but sadly, these felt very narrow and it was painful to walk in them. A shame because they are exceptionally cute! So, worth a try if you have narrow feet.

Lovely shoes, but very narrow sole. The upper was a great width and feels like it would stretch over time, but though I don't typically wear a "wide" shoe my foot extended beyond the edges of insole.

Love the look and color of these, and the softness of the leather (not to mention the two sets of laces, one red) But they are too wide and too deep for my flat, narrow feet, and have little support -- they gapped and wrinkled even when laced to the max -- so back they must go, with regret. They'd be fine for someone with more fat on their feet.

Good soft leather and the maroon laces are fun but they were a little tight and the arch support was lacking...so, they're going back. Nice shoe, though...you may want to give them a try.

Did not like the look of these. They looked cheap - like a combo between a bowling shoe and an old person's shoe. I have some Ahnu hiking shoes that I absolutely love so I wanted to give these a try but I'm not a fan of this style.

These seemed very wide. I had laces as tight as they could go but not tight enough. Also, my heel kept slipping out of the back. Sad to return these.
