After reading tons of reviews I decided to get my first pair of Brooks Beast. I am extremely flat footed and tend to experience related post run pain. While I've only gotten 10mi into the life of these shoes my legs are already feeling better. Initially it felt weird not having my ankles and knees rolling around but now I feel sturdier on my feet. Would definitely recommend these shoes.

First, Zappos is the best! Easy to order, the guarantee that returns are paid for, I felt comfortable ordering online. Received my shoes as promised, fit perfect. I have flat feet with tibial torsion, and my podiatrist recommended these. I can feel the difference. My next pair of shoes will be Zappos!

This is my first pair of Brooks Beast 14s. Size 12, 4 EE. I am now using them daily for five miles on the treadmill. The shoes are very firm and supportive - I can highly recommend them. They are the best sneakers that I ever owned.

Very comfortable shoes. Shoe runs about a half size smaller than normal. I usually wear an 11 1/2 ordered a 12 and fits perfect.

The reviews were right. If you normally wear an 11M, then got the larger 11 2E. They provide great support and are even lighter than the last Brooks Beast. The Brooks Beast are great shoes for the larger runner like myself.

My husband has flat feet, and he's always had problems finding comfortable shoes. He's also big - 230 lbs and 6' fall. This is his second pair of these shoes, and he loves them. His first pair even lasted a out 10 months, which is a very long time for him! He will buy them as long as they keep making them.

First off I would like to mention that to arrive at the correct size for my husband it took three tries. The staff at Zappos provided excellent, courteous, and speedy service as usual. Zappos is just the most hassle free company in the US. I could probably be their poster child! Second, these shoes are extremely comfortable with great arch support even if the wearer has high arches. My husband usually wears a medium width but had to get a wide in these shoes. The length seemed to run normal. The comfortable soles that are well cushioned are a plus.

I have been wearing Brooks shoes for several years. I am really glad to see the Silver/Black/Gold - a more sedate color. The Beast offers good support and comfort. However, as others have stated, lately the 4E that I wear has become progressively more narrow. I now order them in 11 1/2 rather than 11. Still, a great shoe.

I had never used Zappos before. I went to my foot Dr. because of heel pain and he told me to get a pair of running shoes and mentioned Brooks. I ordered a pair of Brooks Beast size 10.5, however they were a bit to tight. Called Zappos for an exchange and the size 11 was here the next day. NOW THAT IS SERVICE! My feet are on cloud 9. Great shoes and a great company. Thanks Zappos!

Awesome shoe! I purchased these for my flat feet and bad knees. While I don't run much anymore, they're much lighter and better fit than most shoes. I'll buy them again.

Been running with Brooks Beast on my feet for the past 4 years. 6'1" and 220-250 depending on when my next Judo Shiai is. These are perfect for me and once I have my size right, every pair ordered in that size fits consistently. Find the size that works for you and Brooks will be a consistent fit - in my experience. I run up to 130 miles/mo and no issues to 400 miles. After that, its time for a new pair.. for me.

Ok I have had these sneakers for just over a week now. I am six foot six and 305 lbs. my last workout sneakers were Asics and the heel foam wore out rather quickly. So far these sneakers are great no complaints. They were a bit tight at first but after the first few workouts they fit like a glove. They keep my ankles in check. I will have to post again on a few months for a follow up. I would recommend these based on the quality of the sneaker alone.

I have been wearing the Brooks Beast line of shoes for a couple years. I did have a problem with the 2013 model but Brooks replaced that shoe under warranty with no problem. The 14 Beast has been a great shoe and can withstand the hard use and abuse that I subject my sport shoes to. More importantly, I think the customer experience and service at Zappos is second to none in the entire internet mail order market. My shoes were sitting at my front door less than 24 hours after I ordered them and Zappos had sent both an email confirmation and email tracking. UNBELIEVABLE!

This is my second pair of Beast. I fund these shoes to be the best for protecting my feet and avoiding Plantar Fasciitis. They are solid and comfortable.

Purchased for my son. He is a big guy. He wears a 15 but goes up one size in sneakers. Great fit and more importantly, awesome support.

Bought the shoe to alleviate plantar fasciitis pain. Very comfortable with lots of cushion. Had to buy a 1/2 size up.

The Beast is my every day shoe to that includes walking 40 minutes per day. My shoe size is 10,5. I get a lot more comfort wearing an 11.0. Width seems fine.

I find these shoes to have the best support for my severe overpronation. They not only help my feet but my knees and back too. I've tried various other shoes (Saucony, New Balance, etc) over the years but keep coming back to Brooks -especially because of the knee issue. After I started wearing them I had friends who commented that they also wear only Brooks.

This is my second pair of Brooks Beast, I have the other color. They felt comfortable from the start, even though they cost more than most, my feet are worth it. The shoes came when they were promised and I have been happy with Zappos. I also play golf in them.

I am 61 and recently decided to return to running after a very long layoff (I have just been cycling, swimming and going to the gym). I am about 5'11", 185 pounds and have had numerous overuse running injuries in the past. I decided to get the Brooks Beast to help protect my feet and legs from injuries. These are great shoes for a person like me that needs the protection. They seem to provide both good cushion and good motion control. I normally wear size 11 in most everything and size 11 in the Beast fit perfectly for me with normal thickness socks. I think the lacing on the Beasts could accommodate thinner or thicker socks as well, though I have not tried either. I would recommend them to a runner looking for protection, and I plan on buying them again after I wear these out. These seem very well made, but I have not had them long enough to determine how they wear, but I expect that they will wear well.

I've been buying this shoe for a lot of years. These are great shoes, easily the best shoes I've ever used for walking. I walk approximately 4 miles a day so my shoes need to be able to support that and these do. No need to break them in they are very comfortable the first time you put them on. I recommend them without reservation.

My podiatrist recommended these sneaks for me. They are great running shoes, especially for people who need arch support and struggle with pronation. They are pretty heavy, but I think that helps with stability and pronation. I use them with custom orthotics, so I can't comment much on the insoles the sneaks come with, but I still think they are comfortable. The shoes feel like they are very high quality and look cool. They better be for how much they cost!

This is the second pair of Brooks Beast '14 I have purchased. I am still using the first pair. This is the best support shoe I have worn to date. It is definitely worth the money for runners who have trouble with overpronation.
