Bought this for my neice for her first winter in MI. The coat was great quality, but ran a little more form fitting than expected. She's is very skinny but needed to exchange it for a small instead of the x-small.

I'm a huge fan of north face products. This is my first parka and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The price was steep but worth every penny. Thanks for making my purchase feel so worth it!

I love my Metro Parka, I wish I had it all these years, I walk a lot to places and this is a live safer coat for me. Everyone should have one specially if you live in Michigan. Go Northface!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was very careful about purchasing a perfect winter jacket for few months. Usually winter jackets are very expensive and I don't want to waste my money on something not worth. Pros: This jacket is very warm. It has some water resistance (but not recommend in a pouring day). It is very light and easy to move my arms around. I've been wearing this jacket over a month now. Cons: I had troubles to unhook the zipper. I don't know if it's something defected product or just as it is. Also, I'm finding a very few downs falling off the jacket. Overall, I like the product!

Extremely Warm, very comfortable, berathable, can move around very easy when earing the coat. The detachable hood is a great feature.

This jacket is very warm and well made. I order it in grey and color is nice and bright. It looks great with purple or green scarf. I'm 5'9 and weight 145 lbs and I purchased in medium. Small size was too tight and medium is little bit baggy on me. I kept it because I need warm jacket for crazy winters in Chicago and I have extra space for heavy sweater.

I have been wanting this coat and I love it! Came very fast in the mail. Only complaint is the arms are a little short.

I have a Metropolis parka (size M) that is a few years old. Loved the look and the color (Urban Navy) of the Miss Metro so decided to give it a try, also in size M. I think the Miss Metro offers a more flattering fit but that's because the sleeves/shoulder area are designed differently and have less give. And it feels a little slimmer in the body overall. I like it and will be keeping it but probably won't be wearing a lot of thicker layers underneath it. I'll keep the Metropolis parka for when I need to do that.

I get cold easily, and most coats warm enough for me make me look like a little girl trapped in a marshmallow. This one is perfect-- very warm but not bulky looking, and very flattering but with room for a thick sweater underneath. This coat will keep you warm ale inter long. It's fitted just right so you don't have to worry about it making you look too big! The length of the coat protects your thighs which is awesome! Washes well!

The coat was a perfect fit!! What else would you expect from Northface? I am so pleased to get this gift for my daughter. Now everyone in my family is prepared for winter by Northface.

This coat is very warm and perfect for the winter. Fits just right and I can still wear sweatshirts under it. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a coat like this!

I agree with the other review that the sleeves are too tight on this jacket. There is no way to wear any sort of sweaters underneath. I tried to size up but the rest of the garment was huge. Otherwise this would make a great coat!

I have always wanted this jacket but when I thought to purchase it the past few years it was always sold out. This year I knew I definitely had to have it for my trip to Europe in November. So I went in September and purchased the coat in Navy. The color is gorgeous and I just can't wait for colder weather to wear it!

The fit runs small if you want to wear sweaters or layers for when your coat is off. I loved the color Urban Navy and warmth but runs to small in the arm and chest area, hopefully the design will change next winter season it's offered .

I have a North Face Metropolis Down Parka that I bought 4 years ago and I this year I bought both the Miss Metro and the Metropolis Parkas, to try them out. The Miss Metro parka sleeves were too tight on my arms, and the fabric was more of a matte finish, while the Metropolis parka fabric had a slight satiny sheen to it. The Miss Metro is a nice looking parka and is comfortable, warm and well made, but the arms were too tight and I preferred the Metropolis so the Miss Metro was returned. Also, I found that although I am always a size Medium, in North Face coats I am usually a Large, and Large fit well for the Miss Metro.

So this coat seems to be selling well right now, so I thought I'd take the plunge and order it??_.YUCK!!! It's NOT trendy, modern, or fashionable at all!! I'm not even sure if MY MOM would even like it!!! (??_and I'm 44 yrs old, size small, mom of 3, an artist, and love following fashion trends). The ONLY "pro" of this coat is that it is thicker/better quality than the metropolis style (and they are both 550 fills, but this one is thicker and feels warmer). Between the "diamond" stitched pattern, covered zipper, non-flattering fit, and hidden logo, I couldn't get this back to the store fast enough! ??_and I own SEVERAL North Face jackets! This one is NOT a keeper for my collection!

Despite living in New York my whole life, I never had a super warm coat since walking to the car to school and back never warranted one. Now that I'm going to college in New England and walking around in the cold for periods of time during the day, a simple jacket or pea coat didn't cut it, especially during this past long winter. I think this coat will be perfect, though. It fits just right while still having room for bulkier sweaters, and the length will be great for keeping my legs warm. It's surprisingly lightweight, and the burnt olive green color is really nice-looking.

I got this coat in the purple and was initially worried that the color would appear maroonish or even brown, but I am very happy to report it is a beautiful, rich, eggplant color just as I had hoped! Makes it a very special coat in a see of black coats everyone wears. I also love the style, it is very flattering! It narrows in at the waist nicely and accentuates your figure, even in larger sizes. The coat is also very funtional- super warm but also very light!

I am 5'5 1/2 and weigh 120-25, and the small fits me perfectly. If you wear really bulky sweaters, you might want to go up a size, but my sweaters are more of the Smartwool variety, and not too bulky, so this is perfect. I like the more fitted look, and not the sleeping-bag look, so this coat is perfect! This type of coat is very popular in Minnesota, and last winter I could not find one by the time the temperatures were below freezing, so this year I am prepared!

I purchased this for my daughter who is in college and has to walk a few miles from home to class. She loves the coat and cannot wait to start wearing it. She had been looking for a longer jacket for the last couple of years and the minute she saw this one she knew it was exactly what she wanted.

Great winter coat for freezing east coast weather. Runs a bit small??_ I am 5'2 120 lbs and in between small and medium. I will probably be keeping the small but wish it was a tad bit bigger. Still an amazing coat! My last north face jacket has lasted 10 years!

great coat!! you can not be beat the price nor the warmth and coziness. Simply stated this is the go to coat if you live in the cold, snowy climates.
