Great on snowy Tahoe weather!

Super warm and very comfortable. Great for crazy windy and cold Chicago winters.

This coat is very stylish and I love that it is not shiny. The coat is extremely warm. My only complaint is that I wish the sleeves were longer but I have very long arms. It would be cool if North Face began to put sleeves with hold thumbs inside of their coats like Lola has. That way even if the sleeves on the coat are a bit short, the inner shell is good.

Originally I received a size M...the size I almost always wear, regardless of the brand. Across the bust was so constricting and tight, I would never have been able to wear anything other than a t-shirt or cotton button down underneath. Forget a sweater. The rest of the coat fit well and I didn't feel enormous in it because there is some shape and styling to it. I ended up returning it and got the size L. It arrived today: more roomy and more room in the bust area, but still....seems like it would have been smart to put vents in the back where the arms attach to the coat to give some more room to move arms about or give those of us greater than a size C cup some room. Still, I love it and I hope to use it a lot this winter. I don't know if it is super warm yet or not, as today was the first 30 degree morning. I would recommend this coat, with reservations about the fit in the chest area for larger busted women.

i have a couple of NF jackets that i love. totally worth the money. but they missed the boat on this coat. it's not warm enough. and i live in vancouver. i can't imagine wearing this in the cold prairies or in the mountains. i had to return it and buy a long puffy down jacket from MEC. i'm sad about that: i love NF quality.

I was looking for a coat that was warm but also not too bulky to walk across campus in the winter. This coat is just that plus stylish. It fits true to size. The only thing I could change would be making the sleeves a little longer

This is my second Metro. Not sure if my 5+ year old one is a "Miss Metro" but I would guess it is because of the feminine fit. I tend to get the M even though I'm 5'8" and 140 give or take... The L just looks like a sack on me when I try it on in the store. Still use the 5 + year old coat when raking leaves or around our cabin, but the stitching at the bottom of the coat holding the zipper has started to go. The new coat I recently bought has a matte outside which I'm hoping stays drier when I'm out when it's snowing for long periods of time. I also love the green color in the matte. Did not notice this color on this site but found it in a local store. Keep on making these please!!!

Great product all around my wife loves it.

I live in NYC and need something for the cold winters since I walk a lot during my commute and taking my dog outside. I've been looking for something warm yet cute and feminine because I'm also 26 and don't want to look like I'm wearing a down sack. Miss Metro beat my expectations- lightweight, comfortable, warm, and feminine yet stylish. I love it.

Haven't had the chance to wear this outside yet, but I'm looking forward to it. It fits well and is more stylish than your average winter down coat.

I have purchased Triclimate coats and also previously owned a Metropolis parka which differs slightly from this one. I just bought this one (Miss Metro) in grey and like some of the subtle differences from the Metropolis. This one has more of the diamond quilting which I like compared to the squares. Also, the exterior fabric on this one seems more durable. The metropolis was a stain MAGNET, which lead to washing often which will wear down the material more quickly. This one is also more fitted, so it's fashionable and feminine. I like the interior material, it's soft and warms quickly. I am usually a Medium but tend to buy winter coats a size larger so that I can layer (I live in Minnesota). The sleeves are long which is great and the length is perfect. I love the adjustable hood. I haven't yet worn it out in the cold, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed! To the person who said that it was extremely flammable and gave it a one-star rating, you are special. :)

I am so excited to wear this! I live in a town that has been rated one of the coldest places in the U.S. &this coat is perfect. It is not uncommon to have -20F with a windchill of -40F. The warmth and protection will be perfect & I love the hood! Bring it on old man winter...I am ready!

I'm 5' 5" and weight 154lb. I like tight fitting so ordered medium. It fitted good around my shoulder bc I have narrow shoulder but it was too tight around my waist. Went to the store to try large but it was too big. I love the parka but had to return. Still giving 5 stars for the good quality parka.

I love how this coat looks on me. It's warm but also keeps my shape and not too bulky looking like many other puffer costs. Can't wait to wear it. Just wish it's a little shorter since I am not very tall. 5'3".

I really like the coat but sadly had to returned it and get a small one instead. I then decide to go for the black one rather than grey and loved my new one. It's not as fitted as I was hoping for but it's nice to have some room. It's comfortable and very light way which I love!

Last year I purchased a Thermoball coat from North Face and loved it, however it was not as warm as I had wanted. I live in Utah but also part time in France and so I need a coat that will do the job and keep me nice and warm. This coat does just that! It is also extremely comfortable, it's like wearing a down comforter. The fit is very flattering and goes with just about anything. I highly recommend this beautiful coat!

It came in a reasonable time and light packaging which is great for the environment. Beautiful forest green color.

This winter will be my first in NYC, and I am excited to tackle it with this parka. I've only worn it once so far in about 35F weather, but it has done a good job of keeping the wind and cold out. It's light, which is really important to me during my daily subway commute. I'm not sure how it (or I) will hold up in the winter rain and snow, but I have high hopes for it based on how great of quality the material seems to be. This jacket doesn't compromise aesthetics for function - it is very flattering and form-fitting without being too snug. I ordered a size small (5'2, 120lbs) and there is plenty of extra room for me to layer sweaters and thermals underneath, if need be. The only thing that I wish it had is a (removable) fur trim around the hood to help break the wind on those really gusty days. Other than that, I am all-around happy with my purchase.

Perfect for college campus walks on those snowy, cold days! Last year I froze in my old cost (diff brand) so this year I'm fully prepared for a long Michigan winter! Thank you, North Face! Keep up the great work!!

I first ordered the coat in small based on previous reviews. I recieved the coat was very excited to get the coat. The coat was too big. I odered a small, I am 5'4 123 pounds and it was very loose on me. I returned the no problem and exchanged it for an xsmall. I really didn't know what to expect but when I got the coat and tried it on, I was very pleased. The length is great, the fit is snug but not too tight. It is everything I was looking for in a winter coat. I am from Buffalo, NY and I hear we are supposed to have another terrible winter. I need to be prepared! !

I Love this jacket. Nice and warm but not bulky. We only buy Northface jackets because the quality is great and they never go out of style.
