Love this coat. It's nice and light but very warm in the WINDY city of Chicago. Stylish, too!

I LOVE THIS WARM AND COZY DOWN PARKA!! IT IS STYLISH AND EASY TO WEAR, NON-BINDING. IT IS SUPER WARM AND PERFECT FOR FREEZING TEMPS. THE LENGTH IS JUST RIGHT FOR KNEE HIGH BOOTS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE NF MISS METRO PARKA! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. BETH

I wear this coat everyday and it keeps me so warm! The length is perfect. It's super lightweight, so it's easy to carry around with me. I would definitely buy this again and recommend to others.

I was leery of ordering this parka because I'm short (5'4") and curvy and didn't think it would fit a large chest and ample derriere, lol. I normally wear a size L, sometimes a medium, but usually a Large to fit well and I took a chance ordering a Large. It fits like a dream! Not snug, not loose, perfect length for me...I was impressed. The only CON for me...I don't want to take it off when I get home. I just want to stay snuggled up in it, lol..

I got this just in time for the coldest day of the year in MI. It looks good, feels good... If I had one minor complaint I would like for the sleeves to be a tiny bit longer, but it's so minimal I don't think twice about it.

I'm a west coast resident but bought this jacket because I travel to NYC frequently for work and I'd been eyeing this style for a while and it went on sale. I can't review the warmth factor for "real winter" since I didn't get it in time for my most recent trip. I wore it out in San Francisco in mid-50s weather and I was perfectly warm without feeling sweaty or stuffy, and the jacket felt great and lightweight and not like a heavy parka. The jacket looks great. I got the dark graphite color and it's like a matte finish, not a shiny finish. I'm a pretty natural medium in sizing and this is almost a bit too loose for my liking. I justify keeping the M because I'll probably be wearing layers in NYC and if I went down a size it'd be too tight around the arms (reaching) and bust. The hood is removable and the jacket falls mid-thigh for me (I'm 5'8"). One thing I'm disappointed in is that there's no inner pocket for a phone, etc.

For reference, I am 5'3" 105 lbs. The True Size fit said a Small would be ideal. It was not. It looked like I was wearing a sleeping bag it was so large and long. Also, it did not look like the picture online. I ordered Graphite Grey Heather and the color was very bland and looked dirty from a few feet away. I was so disappointed as I was really looking forward to this coat. In addition, the zipper was extremely hard to zip, almost as if it were already broken. I returned the next day and ordered the Thermoball Parka instead. Very pleased with the fit and style of the Thermoball.

I am very happy with this purchase. It was an answer to every issue I had for a coat to wear in the cold weather.

The quality of this jacket is much better than other brands that I have purchased recently. It isn't overly heavy yet the product used in making the jacket must be top notch because it keeps me warm in the coldest of weather. Being from Wisconsin this is very necessary!

Absolutely love the warmth this coat provides! The zippers on this coat are terrible. Within the first few days I went and exchanged this coat for a different one because I thought there just happened to be a glitch with the zipper....the new coat's zipper also functions poorly. Trust me, I know how to zip and unzip a zipper, and I can assure you there is an issue with the zippers they have been putting on these coats.

I use it all the time. With this I do not bother to layer myself

My husband bought this coat for me for Christmas. I live in Philadelphia and bike to and from work in the snow, rain, and sleet all winter. This coat keeps me warm and is comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an active wear winter coat. I'm 5'5 / 110lbs and the XS fits great.

I was nervous when the package arrived because of how light weight it was and how thin it seemed when I pulled it out of the box - this parka is amazing! It keeps me so warm in the Michigan cold without feeling like a giant marshmallow. I got it in green and constantly receive compliments.

Great warm and light weight coat. Length is good for me almost at my knees without feeling like I am wearing a blanket. I am a small but wear a medium in this coat. I commute daily on the train and it is a very compact warm coat. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this coat because I wanted something that would cover my upper legs but didn't feel too bulky. I am 5'3 and I got a small. It fits perfectly and it doesn't make me look too short! I would definitely recommend this for someone looking for a warm and stylish winter jacket. I live in Michigan and this will be very useful for the harsh winters we get.

This is the best winter coat I have ever purchased! It is super light weight but still keeps you warm!!!

I moved to the Northeast from the South last year and was completely unprepared for the cold and snow! Taking the dog outside was a task I dreaded since it always left me chilled to the bone (I live in an apartment so have to take the dog out on a leash). I received this parka as a Christmas gift this year and absolutely LOVE it! It keeps me nice and warm and does not let wind cut through. I am covered pretty much from my head to my knees - and combined with boots, I am completely covered! The coat is the perfect length, very lightweight, and a great color. The design is very cute that I can wear it out to dinner, etc. I highly recommend!

I have owned this coat for three years now and was so happy that you removed the white stitching from "The North Face" logo. I wear this coat everywhere--casual to dress occasions; that is how much I love this coat b/c it is more important for me to be warm from neck to knees. Nothing gets through this coat, cold, wind, etc. Added feature, this coat is as light as a feather who wants to carry more weight. Today, I purchased the same coat for my daughter who will be off to college in the Fall. It's hidden until I drop her off at school. She will be very surprised that she gets to wear her very own. And best part, I got 25% off and an additional $10. for my North Face donation.
