I've been trying to find a stylish, comfortable, lightweight, and flexible shoe for my martial arts class...these are the shoes! The tread is designed to allow you to smoothly and easily pivot on the ball of your foot yet keeps you planted at the same time. Perfect! In addition to martial arts, I would imagine these shoes would be conducive to any style of workout that entailed a lot of foot movements. I nearly feel like I'm barefooted when I've got these on...only now I don't have to endure the blisters, rug burns, and calluses. Asics, please don't stop making these!

This shoe is amazing! I've been a true Nike 5.0 girl for years due to a bad knee. I have to find shoes that provide enough cushion, so minimalist shoes have always been out of the question. However these provided great support. Not to mention they are super CUTE!

Snug fit and tight to get on - but I think that's the idea since these are cross trainers that are designed to give you lots of lateral movement. Took some getting used to but they really do fit like a glove once you get them on and I've used them for lots of agility drills and p90x3 lateral moves. I had a bum knee before using Nike frees but no issues with these! I wear a 7 and thought I needed to size up when I first tried them on but glad I did not because my feet would have been moving around in the shoe during exercises. These need to wrap around your foot perfectly in order to work - unless you're just using these to walk around.

This was the first time I have purchased and worn Asics shoes, and I am IN LOVE. I wear these for cross training with light cardio, mostly. They are stable when lifting, but move well when jumping and squatting around. I wore them once just bumming around town, and they feel like walking on pillows. They are incredibly light and breathe-able. I appreciate that my socks aren't soaking wet when I'm done at the gym. The arch support is moderate - just enough to feel solid but not that my foot is in a brace. If you're looking for a good gym shoe, this is it.

It's rare you find a pair of shoes that are as stylish as they are comfortable, but this is it! I'm thrilled that Asics has a minimalist shoe now. They look and feel great without socks and they hug my feet perfectly, with lots of room to wiggle my toes. If you normally buy athletic shoes one shoe size larger than street shoes, I recommend just half-sizing up if you plan to wear them without socks. They go from workout to the street and look very sporty with leggings.

These are the most comfortable gym shoes I have ever owned. They fit like a glove and are extremely light. I wouldn't wear these for any kind of distance running, but they will be perfect cross training shoes.

This is an amazing shoe for the gym or group fitness classes. It is super light and comfortable. It almost fits like a sock. My foot is very narrow, so if you are a narrow footed fitness lover, this shoe is for you! It doesn't come in a narrow size, it just fits this way. Personally, I am thankful to Asics for making this shoe.

Great shoes! True to size! Super light. Just what I was looking for my gym workouts. They also look better on your feet then in the picture. :)

Love these shoes! I have 2 pairs, one for casual wear, and one for weight training days. I haven't tried them for cardio, and I'm kind of afraid to, my feet are used to a shoe with more cushion for running, but I'm tempted, just because they are so cute. I usually order a half size up in an athletic shoe, but had to go to my normal size in these, so I'd say they run a bit big. Threw them in the wash and air dried them with success.

These are super comfy and so cute! Feels like snug socks on your feet! I would only worry if your foot is larger, the snugness of the shoe may bother some people.

BETTER THAN BEING BAREFOOT!!! No seriously, I mean that in the best way! I love being barefoot, but I LOVE wearing these sneakers even more. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my life. I can wear them without socks and they are fantastic. No rubbing, no blisters, no sharp edges or places to irritate. Just perfection. Just slip them on (laces are just for decoration essentially) and you are good to go! They feel like running gloves. Just a perfect fit. I normally wear size 7.5, bought size 7.5 and they fit like a glove. No room for thick or cushy socks, but no worries, you won't need them anyway. I highly recommend these sneakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These shoes are the best! So light, yet supportive during a run to workouts in the gym. The hugging fabric is very comfortable with no pinching points anywhere. Would highly recommend!

Super comfortable, slip-on shoe. Found I need a bit more arch support for my gym workouts, but these are my go-to shoes for the rest of my day.

I love these shoes for several reasons. First, I like that I can wear them without socks. They hug your feet without being too tight due to the super stretchy fabric. The fabric that goes over the top of the foot between the lace and the toes are a thick mesh-like material. The green is just as pictured on Zappos. It pops against the black shoe strings. Also, they are very comfortable. The heel part especially is very cushy. I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur and these are a dream. Make sure to order your regular shoe size. They do not run big, small, or narrow. They absolutely run true to size. I ordered half a size bigger due to another reviewer's suggestion and it was way to long. My true size 9 fit just right. I definitely recommend these shoes for light gym activity like recumbent bike, eliptical, zumba, and lifting. They are great run around shoes as well. I hope this helps! My green is super cute!

Love this shoe! I have a narrow foot and it fits perfectly. It looks great with yoga/Pilates leggings and it's comfortable when I am in the gym training, walking or light amounts of jogging. After years of wearing Nike and growing frustration with their constant modifications of the same shoe, holes in the toes and so-so fit, I have found a much better option in this Asics cross trainer. I've also received numerous compliments on the look of this shoe which I purchased in the navy/white. Highly recommend for those who want a non-bulky, comfortable/fashionable athletic shoe. Doubtful that this would fit a wide foot. Finally an athletic shoe that fits a narrow foot.

I will buy another pair of these for the following reasons: The minimal weight and flexibility make it ideal for cross-training. The gel-support is cloud-like. Not great arch support, but that may be due to my higher-than-normal arches and this is easily fixed with an insert. I will buy another pair of these soon. FANTASTIC.

I LOVE these shoes - but I had to return them. I wear size 11, so I always have a hard time finding shoes that fit well - but I don't have like chubby feet or anything. The tongue of the shoe does not move and it was difficult to slide my foot inside the shoe. Then once I had my foot inside, it felt so tight - loosening the laces didn't help at all. There is a perfect amount of room in my toe/front foot area, but the tightness around my mid-foot was way too much.

Hugs your foot like a comfortable sock with plenty of stretch and very light weight Toe box area very snug for this reason I needed 1/2 sz larger - liked so well I ordered second pair!

These are THE MOST comfortable shoes. I bought them to do my weight workout in the gym, but find that I wear them almost all the time.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever! They are excellent for low volume feet. I wish they had made them all black so the shoes could masquerade as semi-dressy.

Great for kickboxing! They felt a little tight at first but after I worked out in them they really formed to my feet and felt great. They give me the support I need for kickboxing but they are low profile which is great for the mats. I am very happy with my purchase!

I absolutely love these shoes! They are so lightweight that I do not even feel like I am wearing shoes. I purchased them for weight training and am so happy that I did. They support my feet and are so comfortable even when I am doing plyometric exercises. I am normally a size 8, but wear size 9 in athletic shoes and the 9 fit me perfectly, leaving room in the toe. I like these shoes so much that I am considering purchasing another pair to wear for running errands!

Favorite sneaker by far! So light and comfortable. Love the look! I'm a 6 in heels and vary between 6.5 and 7 in all flat shoes. I struggled with what size to get and went with the 6.5. Glad I did they fit perfectly.

These sneakers are very comfortable. They do fit snugly, but mold to your foot and don't feel tight. The opening is small, so you need to work a bit to get them on, but the hook at the heel helps a lot. The pink is as pictured. I bought these specifically for a breast cancer walk and they will be great. This is my 4th pair of Asics - love them.
