I have high arches. So when I tried on the shoes at first they were way too tight in the arches. I removed the really comfy insoles, and now they fit perfectly. Perfect for wearing to/from exercise classes (and can't wait to wear when walking around).

I was purchasing these to use at the gym and just didn't feel like they had as much cushion at the ball of my foot (which receives the most impact during my classes) than a pair of Under Armour shoes I was also trying. Other than that, I loved the shoe, but didn't want to spend the money just to have a cool pair of walking sneakers. The fabric reminds me of a water sock and would probably be great for ventilation, but I was afraid it wouldn't hold up enough for the kickboxing-type classes at the gym. I would highly recommend them though for low-impact exercise.

Great shoe, stylish and functional. After wearing all day the top started to hurt where shoe tied but once you loosen all is good.

I usually wear an 11.5 in Asics running shoes, so I ordered that size in these. They were massive. Clown-shoe floppy massive. I had two thumb widths between the end of my toe and the end of the shoe. I reordered in a 10, thinking that they were clearly more than one size too large. In the 10, my toe is right up to the end. So I'm thoroughly baffled by the sizing. Cute shoe, seems to have a decent amount of lateral stability considering how "unstructured" the design looks.

I was glad for the larger size as I needed a 11.5 with a medium width. I love the color. I am curious how well the mesh will hold up as I tend to poke holes in the toes of my shoes. Once I start wearing them I will see how well they work. But they are very comfortable.

I love these. I have so much trouble finding sneakers. My heel slips out of almost all brands. I have now found a shoe that my heel doesn't slip! The bands around the heel keep the shoe in place; no blister danger here! I love the colors, too (I got the navy/white/hot pink) and think the shoe is adorable. I took off points for style because the toe box makes my foot look really wide in the front. I don't care so much, because in 15 years I've found only one other shoe that I could wear without my heel slipping, but I do notice. I ordered my normal size and they fit very well. They are also amazingly comfortable!

I am usually a 10 in Asics cumulus running shoes. thats a size and a half up I went by the reviews and bought just a half size up from my size which is a 9 - they were way too big, Stick with your normal size so they fit like a glove. Bummed these will have to go back!

Tried on a size 6 at an Academy store and felt great arch support. When I ordered my size (5) and tried them on...where did the arch support go? Disappointed but still cute shoes, I wear them to work for 12 hour shifts and do have foot pain. Will still wear for errands/light activity. Would not wear for running or crossfit.

This is extremely comfortable. Color on toes does rub off immediately. Not great for lateral movement. I teach Pilates and wear them to work for which they are perfect. Very flexible and soft.

I love the color of these shoes; they are beautiful! But these shoes can be a bit uncomfortable; especially being mesh material at the top of the foot, where the toes are; I guess it takes time breaking them in. But other than this, these shoes are very nice; I love the color combination, the price should come down a little though; I do not know why they have to cost this much - because of the color; it seems this way to me. They are very flexible to wear; you think that you are wearing no shoes at all in a way.

So comfortable! This trainer helped me correct my form, especially on lower body moves like squats, dead lifts, etc. I am a 10 in Asics running shoes, however, a 10 in the trainer was almost a full size too big! Order at least a half to a full size smaller.

ZAPPOS delivered unbelievably super fast FREE shipping. Ordered the Asics GEL-Fit Sana 1/2 size up. Glad I did as this is a pull on stretch shoe and fits very tight. Tongue is sewn on. Was able to wear a thin mesh workout sock- could also wear barefoot. Removable cushion insert will allow wearing a thicker sock. MINT color is actually very GREEN and not Turquoise as shown in pics. Extremely lightweight mesh design. Should be perfect for indoor gym workouts.

These are so comfortable! They are light weight and so stretchy. They are cute with workout gear, an all black outfit or jeans. I will definitely have to get another pair in the spring when it is a bit warmer outside, the mesh is a bit light for winter.

I wear these shoes for HIIT workouts that include a wide variety of activities - sprinting, jumping jacks, squats, etc. I love the style, but it took a few workouts before I was comfortable in them. At first, the balls of my feet were achy from jumping, and the shoes felt a bit narrow, which added to the ache at first until they stretched out. After a few weeks, now they feel pretty good. The fit is much better without socks for these, especially with mountain climbers, and the material is very meshy so they are pretty breathable and my feet do not get too sweaty.

I liked the shoe color and design; however, the toe area is very tight. Unfortunately I am returning them because of this issue.

As another reviewer mentioned, these are very similar to water socks but with more of a sole. Not enough support for my needs, I need a stiffer sole and more structure to keep my foot from sliding around.

I have two pairs, two different colors. The only reason they lost stars on the rating is because of the size difference. I had to return the 2nd pair of size 9 and get an 8.5. So, sizing not consistent. But these are truly the best shoes ever for Insanity workouts! I'd get another pair!

At first sight, I completely fell in love with these shoes. They're a beautiful style and for the two days that I got to wear them, everyone complimented them. Aside from the stitching completely coming undone on one of the shoes, I ran into some problems. 1. The arch support It was just far too much and applied so much pressure on my feet that I had to take out the insoles after a few hours. It felt a lot better once they were out but they darn near left imprints on my feet. 2. The laces I had to stop to re-tie my laces every 30-45 minutes. I was walking or standing 100% of my day and I was constantly tripping over my laces because they'd come undone. Yes, I could have done a double knot to prevent this, but you shouldn't have to. There's something about the material that the laces are made of that just make this difficult. I honestly can't recommend these shoes even though I really want to. I seriously think they're so cool looking and wish that they'd worked out for me.

The color is very pretty, but the style is ugly. The front mesh part is a large part of the shoe and made my size 8 feet look like size 10. Furthermore, it was very hard to put on and you would hope no one steps on your foot cause the top portion is just mesh. The feel and support was OK but returning the pair.

I wanted to love these shoes. They fit snugly (in a good way) and I loved the concord grape color. I also loved that the soles had comfortable padding but still allowed me to feel the ground. However, I was afraid to keep them. I needed a pair of cross trainers for the gym and for tennis. Aside from the part that wraps from the back to the side of your ankle, the rest of the shoe is a stretchy mesh. I didn't think that would work for lateral movement and I didn't want to risk this much money to experiment. It seemed like these would be better for running than anything that involves a lot of lateral movement. Too bad -- they were my favorites I tried on!

I just didn't love it. The toe box seems very flimsy and I think it would rip. It is cute and stylish but not for me. I think I need more support overall.

I wanted these to work, as they are adorable and very comfortable. The top fabric is too thin, though, and my toenails were about to bust through. Not very cute on for that reason, and I imagine they would not have lasted very long, either. I am returning and kept the saucony originals instead. Size 7, normal-wide feet.

I was really excited about getting these shoes after reading other reviews. I box and do a lot of other circuit and cross-training types of exercise. These shoes seemed like the perfect fit, unfortunately when I put them on you could see my toes through the top of the shoe. If your bracing your foot, or even flexing your toes a little bit, you can see all of them pop up and press through the softer toe box fabric. I thought it looked super weird. I don't want people seeing my toes wiggling around during my workout. I put them on with socks, and the issue only seemed to get worse. I prefer to have my foot and my toes more secure. They boast a sock like fit, which I agree with, unfortunately they also look like socks once on.

I've been looking at these shoes for some time and was really excited to receive them today. First, I want to start off by saying that I love minimalist shoes. I have a pair of UA ones I have owned for over a year and they are still great. These, however, are beyond ridiculous. The top feels like a sock - no support whatsoever - but the sole somehow manages to feel rigid. I think these sneakers are okay for walking but that's probably the only thing. I also imagine that the fabric upper is going to stretch over time. It's such a disappointment because it is a beautiful shoe.

Ordered because I am a huge Asics fan, and I liked the colors and look of this training shoe. Ordered my usual sneaker size (half size up from non-athletic shoe size) and fit was perfect. This is definitely a very minimalist trainer. I like a training shoe with a bit more cushioning or height in the heel, so am returning. This one was comfortable - the lining really holds your foot - but I like to wear socks with my workout shoes, and it felt like the fit was intended to be worn without a sock. Also, it seemed to me that the front "bumper" of the shoe wasn't sufficiently adhered. It may just be part of the minimal look of the shoe, but given the lightweight materials, etc. it seemed like it might bust open there with use. If I could afford 4 or 5 different sneakers in my wardrobe, I might take a flyer on these because they were comfortable, look good and would provide a different feel than my usual trainers, but am returning for a different Asics training shoe with a little more substance.
