This bag is perfect. Well worth the Price. The size is perfect, not small but not too large where it is beyond oversized and not practical. This could do good for a overnight bag but also for a week a week away camping or hiking trip my husband and I plan to use it on our spur of the moment camping trips on the weekends, and also our hikes in the mountains The size difference in numbers may not seem a lot from the medium to this size, but spend the extra dollars to get that extra space, You will not regret it

Have used a large duffle for over a decade on many international trips to South America and Europe. This smaller bag is excellent as a carry on and can easily double as a gear/gym bag

This duffel was perfect. Just the right size and I had more room than I anticipated! I filled the bag 2/3 full for a 4 night stay with around 12 days worth of clothes (girl who packs heavy) and I still had room! Bag worked out great and I love the backpack straps! So easy to carry!

Perfect size for a carry on. I have used it for both business and recreation. can't wait to see how well it works this summer in the Middle Fork Salmon, ID.

I have the medium which is vercitile for short trips and a lengthier trip. I am a light packer so if you like to pack heavy go with the large.

The advertising doesn't lie! Recently purchased this bag as a travel duffel for all road trips including fun and work. So far I have been nothing but impressed. The back pack straps make it easy to weave through traffic at airports compared to rolling a large bag behind you. In addition, the bag truly feels like it is indestructible. I will be purchasing more North Face gear in the future.

My daughter was jealous of my wife's size medium and wanted her own. It's the perfect size for kids for a weekend away. It also works well for an average size gym bag that can fit into your standard gym locker. The material is durable and easy to clean.

I bought one for my wife and it became her go to gym bag as well as quick pack for a weekend out of town. She gets a lot of use out of it, but it shows no signs of wear. The outer material is rugged and easy to clean. Mediums are a great size for going away a couple days and aren't too big.

Familiar with the Northface reputation. Great product, sturdy, and easy to handle. Purchased this sight unseen, and getting ready to purchase a second one. There are larger duffels, but find this one when packed properly, to be more manageable with weight and fitting in vehicles. Finding the product to be useful for any type of travel or moving from place to place. 5 star product!

This is a fantastic Item. it meets all my Husbands expectations and more. This is a very good buy. This company is great to work with also. I ordered this for a Christmas gift for my husband and someone stole it off my door step and when I emailed the company they investigated and sent me another one. I would suggest having to sign for it now. Company is great and so is there products... Will buy more items from them....

This is the fourth North Face base camp duffel we have purchased in various sizes. They have held up well to years of travel and outdoor activities. The size medium is perfect for air travel when you need to pack a fair bit, but do not want to check a bag. I highly recommend this bag.

These bags are the best! We have literally traveled the world with them and have beat them to death and they are still going! From jungle trekking in Thailand to skiing in the Swiss alps, these bags hold up to anything! My entire family is obsessed! Medium is the perfect size, big but not too heavy when full. We have them in almost every color!

This is my second Base Camp Duffel purchase -- the Small will be joining the Medium in my closet. As always, this is my favorite bag I own. Yes it's a little bit more expensive than some of the knock offs, but it's by far the most resilient bag I've ever used. This year's colors aren't as good as years past, but the quality is great. If you don't mind spending a couple extra bucks this is definitely the bag for you.

I have had expensive travel bags but none ever survived the airlines, this bag has and continues to every flight. Maybe not as fancy as some but I know that when I arrive, everything will all be safe inside. So happy with the first bag I have subsequently bought all the sizes and use the duffles for year round travel even camping. They will stand up too incredible abuse, rain and snow and come in a great selection of colors and sizes for multiple uses.

I have 2 duffels which goes with me now on any travels. Space is not an issue and i can easily collapse one and place it inside another in case i need only one duffel. Sturdy and rainproof to apoint i cannot complain. Compression straps come in handy.

This is the second base camp duffel I have purchased. The first was a small and now a large. They are amazingly durable and water proof (minus the zipper). I just used the large duffle as a backpack for an overnight trip in the snow. It served as a dry place for all my gear. While not the most comfortable backpack it worked well for the short trip.

I'll be traveling to Costa Rica in Feb and then on another trip to Machu Picchu later this year. This bag is the perfect size (large) for all my gear and I'm excited to use it like a backpack as well as a duffel. The material looks exactly like the backpack that I've owned for 10 years and I expect this Base Camp Duffel will be on the same kind of timeline for life expectancy.

This bag is awesome and pretty durable - flies with me everywhere. And because the one I bought it is so bright, you can spot the bag a mile away.
