My husband has worn this style of Danskos for his entire adult life. He has serious back issues and he gets relief from these shoes. He wears to smooth leather with his suits and the brushed/oiled at home for working in his shop.

The shoes require a bit of breaking in, and I didn't know that at first. (Ouch!) Overall, these shoes are fantastic and are great for the active health professional. (I'm an emergency room nurse in a big city) As for Zappos, this was my first time ordering from them instead of the store and (I also didn't know you should buy one shoe size bigger when purchasing) ended up needing an exchange. This company was substantially kind to me and made all interactions seamlessly easy. They quickly shipped a new pair and allowed me to send back the other pair at my convenience. Hands down - I will be using Zappos again in the future.

This clog fits perfectly. I have narrow, flat feet, so I have a hard time wearing normal clogs or slip on shoes in general. These come in a narrow width that fits perfectly. I am very pleased with the overall quality and workmanship of the shoe. This is my second pair, the last ones lasted about 8 years.

I've been wearing this style to work for many years. With everyday wear, they last about a year before the sole cracks. After being sized incorrectly at a store- they tried to size me up two sizes to get a comfortable width. I found the wide width style at Zappos which has worked well for me. I don't normally require a wide width in shoes, but found the wide more comfortable in this particular shoe.

High quality shoe that is worth the money. I stand while I work and Danskos help with fatigue and back pain.

I have worn Danskos since medical school clerkships, and each time a pair dies, I must buy a new one. A fresh pair of Danskos feels like Christmas morning. Only caveat. Great for standing, and for walking at casual speed. Not very good for running. My feet generally feel better at the end of a day having worn them. I have flat feet, and they help greatly. I find that regular is a bit snug, and that the wide width works best for me.

Great shoes for the hospital. This pair seemed a bit looser than expected (I did order 1/2 size up but I have owned this is same size in the past) but with an additional thin insert they fit perfectly (and the extra padding is a plus). I love the arch support and my recent foot pains have decreased. I will buy these. This was my first purchase through Zappos.com and I couldn't be happier.

I have wide feet and I often have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and fit my feet well. These are both. They are a little heavy and after walking all day in them my feet do get tired. but I would definitely buy them again. I have had mine about two months and worn them almost everyday and they still look really good which makes me believe that I will have these shoes for quite a while.

I ordered these shoes at around 3:30PM EST and had them at my door the next morning. I have ordered pizza that took longer to get to my house. Amazing service from Zappos. As for the shoes. These are perfect for fall with jeans or Khaki pants. I wore them today for a few hours and they felt like they were already broken in. I have very wide feet and the wide width even with heavy socks on feels perfect. They are not the typical type of shoe I would wear, but I wanted something easy to slip on and off. I can after a day that I will wear these often.

I'm an RN and a heavy guy with wide feet who works 12hr shifts. I've had these shoes for over a year and have worn them almost every day. These are the first shoes that don't make my feet hurt (I have plantar fasciitis). I don't need inserts. I've worn these shoes so much that they have stretched out and I now need a new pair. I would never wear any other kind of shoe for work. I love these shoes.

I work as a surgical tech and spend eight hours a day on my feet. I'd gotten tired of wearing running shoes all day at work because it seems I have a penchant for dumping fluids onto my feet (along with little bits of patient). One of my docs has a pair of Danskos that're older than I am and he said he'd never wear anything else. I took a chance and after a break-in period of about two weeks, I couldn't agree more! My dogs are no longer barking at the end of the day, and unless I pour irrigation into them like a mug, the feet remain blissfuly dry. I still fall off the sides every now and then if I turn a corner too fast, but those mishaps are becoming less and less frequent.

All I can say is "Wow!" I am a nurse and almost within days my back and knee pains were gone. These are well worth the investment. I will not use any other shoes in my field. Thanks, Zappos, for such great customer service.

These are the second pair I purchased as a Christmas gift for my son . His first pair I ordered for him was a gift also when he started working as an RN. That was 3 years ago. He loves the shoe because it supports his back and he works 12 hour shifts. I myself own multiple Dansko professional clogs in various colors. They are worth the money and last!

Bought these for my husband and he won't take them off! The color is lovely and understated, perfect for a guy who doesn't mind expressing a sense of style but doesn't want too much attention. He really liked the oiled rubbed finish and already they are aging well. Size was true. Ladies, he'll love them once he puts them on!

I usually wear a 44, sometimes 44.5, and a regular or a wide depending on the shoe. With these clogs, the 44 regular was far too small and narrow. I went to the 45 wide—no half sizes—and it is a bit large on me. But since it’s a clog, it will work out fine. Happy to have Zappos lightning fast service to make the replacement. The clogs seem very well made and are comfortable.

Great shoe. The slightly elevated heel is great for my injured ankle. But Danskos have gotten inconsistent with their sizing. I have 2 pair (and returned another) of the same sized Dansko Clog. One fits comfortably loose, one is slightly tight that I hope will break in, and one that was too small to use.

For some reason, these are just a wee bit looser/bigger than my previous purchases. I probably should have sent them back but I think I can add a very thin insert that will firm up the fit.

So apparently I have feet fatter than I realized. These were really uncomfortable for me and I’m doing my best to break them in.

Took a few days to break in. In defense of the shoes, my right foot is slightly larger and has a bunion, so I suppose this is normal. Fit great after a few days of minor discomfort. I do wish these shoes had a little bit of bling, such as a faux buckle or something. They are rather plain looking. Perhaps there is another style like that. But for comfort, I would buy again.

I’ve had Dansko Professionals in the past and have found them to be of great quality and comfort for my wide high arched feet. As I have aged my feet have spread out some so I decided to try the wide width. The length, width and arch support seemed perfect yet they seemed to feel sloppy while walking. I had some Ecco Everyday Comfort insoles sitting around so I put them in. If you’re not familiar with these insoles, they are thin and don’t take up much volume. They are also leather topped so I can retain the feel of the leather insole that the Dansko Professionals have. The shoes now feel perfect and am looking forward to spending many hours in these comfortable shoes.

As someone who works long hours on their feet, I have found these shoes to be the most comfortable and supportive of any I have tried. Personally, I'm not a big fan of their looks/style, but that is a sacrifice I'm willing to make in order to save my feet and back after 12 hours on my feet at work. They run a tad narrow, so keep that in mind when ordering. Zappos, as always, has superior customer service and fast delivery.
