its warm cozy boots but slippery when you walk on icy road...no grip at all.

I've been using these both for going to work in the office, running errands, and working in the field. These boots are very waterproof (stepped in a 4" deep puddle and came out dry), keep my feet warm at 12 degrees F, and don't look too bad. My only complaint is they seem to run a bit narrow. They didn't take long at all to break in, never got blisters or soreness from them. Curious to see how they hold up to the next 4 months of constant use.

I just received my order 4 days after it was supposed to be delivered. No tag on the boots, scuffed a bit and grass / hay stuck to the boot. They seem like they were used but the bottoms don't show wear, so I'm not sure what's up. Problem is, if I tried to return them there's no tags attached to the boots . All I have is the box from delivery. Ordered these "new" direct from the website. I've never had issues with Columbia in the past so im a bit surprised. Fortunately the boots fit great, a tad big but if I'm wearing thick socks I'll have perfect toe wiggle room. Recommend a size down if you have narrow feet as they seem to run wide (great for wide feet like mine). They are soft inside, cushioned well and are warm. I haven't worn them outside yet but my daughter has the same boot and I can tell you they are good boots, waterproof, and warm/comfortable. Not sure what recourse I had with this, so I'm just gonna leave my review.

My mother has been happy with the pair I purchased for her. They run true-to-size, unlike the "Women's Heavenly Omni-Heat Lace Up Boot" which run very small and are a huge hassle to fit right if you can't visit a retailer that carries them.

I got these boots for a trip I'm taking to Boston and hopefully for future ski trips. I can't yet review based on functionality or cold protection since I have not gone yet. But I'm writing this review because I'm slightly disappointed that when I opened my package there was a chunk of glue staring at me. Other than that they seemed comfy when I tried them on. I ordered a half size up to leave room for thick wool socks and they feel like they would be great to wear with thick or regular socks.

. . Which is saying alot from a Woman who typically has cold feet, and I love the look, I just wish there had been more arch structure/support - not great if You are walking much.

I fell in love with these shoes when I got to try them on at a retail location. I bought them online since they were better priced from the company. They're super cozy and keep my feet warm! They'll be perfect going through snow!

These boots are nice and warm. As others say, they are quite snug and tight around the instep. A person with a wide foot would have a hard time getting them on. I bought a size larger and they have plenty of toe room but feel quite tight. Hoping after some wear that they loosen up a bit.

I absolutely 100% love Columbia products. I have transitioned my entire wardrobe to play nice with Columbia. I have rain coats, winter coats, omni-heat technology, zip fleece, turtleneck fleece-you name it-I got it. So you can only imagine my surprise when I got these looker boots and realized how hard and somewhat uncomfortable they are. The tread is fantastic. The color is gorgeous. The overall quality is sublime. The functionality and design of the boot is spot on. It is modern and cozy and just the perfect height. I am not sure if it is the material or what but the boot is hard and like some new shoes will need some breaking in before feeling comfortable. Also-there is no arch to speak of in this boot although I think it would accommodate an arch insert nicely. I normally wear an 8 and I sized up to 8.5 to wear thick warm socks in the colder months and the fit works fabulous. I am on the fence if I will send them back because I feel like they if were broke in after several wears they would be more comfortable. First time I wasn't swooned when I got a package from Columbia.

I was looking for a lightweight snow boot that had warmth and grip. The Ice Maiden Ii fits that perfectly. I ordered a half size up like I do my running shoes. They fit just right with room for a heavy sock.
