I wear this as my early spring, fall, and winter baselayer. Perfect for high exertion warming and wicking. The material holds up well for my trail work and hiking. The fit is close and I wear a large - 6'2", 180 lbs, lean. Pleased with the product and its versatility. I own two.

I bought this about a month ago and it is so comfortable! I can't wait to use it while skiing! The material is good and it feels very warm!

I recently purchased this fleece and I absolutely love it. This is one of my favourite Arc'teryx pieces, it's so warm and fits snug to your body. This would be one of my top recommended products.

The Rho is such a staple piece for Arc'teryx. Incredibly warm and well made, you can't go wrong with this piece!

Perfect top for me especially in the winter. It goes anywhere both outdoors and to events. Wish I could have gotten the one in orange to wear to SF Giants games.

This top is just great! It kept me completely comfortable (and dry) during a strenuous uphill hike. The wicking is really effective. I'm 5 foot 3 and around 115 pounds, and I bought the small size. It's snug in the body and a bit looser in the sleeves. I like oversized clothing in general, but I understand that the close fit makes this top work as well as it does. When the neck is zipped up, it's perfectly comfortable. And I'm happy with the color Labyrinth--a deep, dark teal.

This is my new favourite backcountry-hiking-in-the-cold piece! Was so grateful to have it when I most absolutely needed it! Kept my core warm! The fit is tailored in such a way that there is no bulk or excess material! Super cozy! Recommended!

This is my favorite go-to when I am chilly. If I need to layer, I can wear a tank/t-shirt under and still feel comfortable. Material is not itchy and keeps the wind out. As a petite person, arms are little long but is not odd or uncomfortable. I have in Small for a tight fit and Medium for a looser fit.

Fantastic lightweight but incredibly warm base layer. Material is soft on the skin and not scratchy in the slightest. I pair this with the Rho bottoms and am set to go for a day of skiing or snowboarding in the rockies.

Thank you Arcteryx for the earthy colour! I actually already own this jacket in red. But I use it only as a base layer for snowboarding due to the colour. When you introduced the Shorepine, I didn't need another base layer. But I bought the second one only because of the beautiful earthy colour. I was wearing my Shorepine colour Rho AR for 3 weeks straight in April at the Red Rocks, Nevada. Even when it was warmer, I would not take it off in case the icy wind would come. This base layer served as my everything piece: climbing jacket, street jacket, hiking jacket, base layer, mid layer, I even slept in it. It is stretchy so you can do multiple sports in it. It is pleasant so you can sleep in it. It is warm so you can wear it when it is cold and windy. It is light so you can always have it no matter what the conditions. And...I love the colour: Shorepine (green-ish). Thank you Arcteryx for bringing the earthy colours to women's clothing line. I love my Shorepine Rho AR base layer! I wish the Rho AR was available in various other earthy colours such as the Rhasoul colour or Rhassoul Heather or Gobi or Theanine or Ginger Root or Fiddlehead.

Comfy, snug, warm Polartec, stretchy, & soft on the skin. This is like a warm hug in shirt form.

My boyfriend loves this shirt. It keeps him very warm, yet is lightweight and breathable. The shirt fits perfectly. The color and style are very nice. I'd recommend this shirt to anyone. In fact, we ordered him another one in a different color!

This is a very warm, soft, comfortable shirt. True to its description, the fit is flattering and conformable (moves with you) and not bulky. It can be worn next to the skin and is nice enough to wear as a casual shirt as well as an outdoor athletic shirt. I love finding shirts that are warm enough for the winter so you don't have to wear many layers and feel bulky. The fit is perfect for me. I got a medium and I'm 5'8" and 130 lbs.

Spent a while researching baselayers for a recent ski trip to Austria. The temps on the glacier looked low on the forecast so I was looking for an upgrade. My Rho AR performed exceptionally well and is all I wore under my ski jacket as it was so warm. Very comfortable and no trapped sweat like my old gear. My girlfriend actually bought capilene and was cold (whinge moan..).

This has been my go-to base layer for years. Sometimes a very light layer underneath, and sometimes with a light insulation layer, this and my Sidewinder SV shell get me through the ski season in comfort.

I have to say that I wondered if this would be worth the premium price. Turns out I needn't have worried. Tried this out in Southern Ontario's cold winter (-10C - -20C) of 2018. This is a superb layering piece. The combination of this with the Atom LT jacket is outstanding. My current go to cold weather.

I am 6' tall (183cm), 83kg/13stone/182lbs, 33"/83cm waits, 41"/104cm chest, regular slim build. I chose large and it fits perfectly. Very good baselayer, low density but very warm, excellent for layering.

I used this baselayer for 23 straight days through a wilderness mountaineering expedition in New Zealand. During this I was hiking up and over mountain ranges, through brush, on glaciers, digging glacier camps, etc. It is hands down the best baselayer I've ever had in terms of warmth, weight, and value. Some notable features that other baselayers don't have/include: The left arm zipper pocket is stretchy enough to hold a headlamp if you aren't wearing a midlayer/anything else with pockets. The bottom hem (which is flared slightly larger than average hip width) does so just enough to fit over a baselayer bottom, but not be baggy. It's length falls mid-butt, and is clingy enough that it doesn't ride up and expose your mid/lower back. All in all it's an awesome baselayer. Warm, packable, and has saved me on more than a few cold glacier nights, or just walking around town! Hands down worth the expense, and an absolute joy to wear. Good luck stopping your friends from stealing it!
