What an awesome mid layer.
I am extremely impressed with this piece as I was looking for something warm, something I could wear around the office, and something I could wear out around the town. This really does check all of the boxes. The other impressive thing is that it is extremely light! Lighter than I expected. I have an old Regent cardigan, and I thought this would be similarit is WAY lighter.
I do gave the Patagonia better sweater, which I'll admit I do love. However, it is much heavier and thicker, whereas this cardigan is thinner, lighter, and (from what I can tell) equally as warm.
Very happy with this product.

My first love of arcteryx and hasn't let me down yet. I've lived in the covert for 3 years and hardly showing wear. Can use it casually, for skiing, cooler rock climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing, or cooler hiking. It breathes, it's warm, it blocks just enough wind, its great looking. I'm going to purchase one with a hood so I can use it more as a technical mid layer.

I have many Arc'teryx products including several jackets. This product is consistent with the standards I expect. Products are all great values because the are durable and wear extremely well. Specifically, this jacket is very comfortable. The clean lines make a discreet statement and wearable with khakis, jeans or active gear. The knit is comfortable enough to leave on indoors when it's chilly. It fits nicely over a t-shirt or button up shirt.

This cardigan has been my best friend for a couple of years. I have had the black one for 2 years, and I am back to buy the Mica one.
I use this cardigan for so many things, from daily life, walks around town and hikes, to mid-layer under my ski clothes. In fact, I initially purchased the cardigan to complement my skiing gear, but it has since become a basic in my wardrobe.
The cardigan is definitely mid-weight. It provides cozy warmth without suffocating. It hugs the body, with some extra room in case you want to add layers underneath. The length is perfect, hitting above the hips, so it does not look awkward. I am 5.2, 103 pounds, and wear a XS (for reference). I am an 85A on my bust, and I have to say there i still room left in that area, so I am sure it allows for bigger sizes.

The covert cardigan is like an old friend that you always want to hang out with. It is perfect for when those late summer days turn cool or when you just need that perfect layer in the winter when you are running errands. This is an amazing layer that looks stylish and has a great color scheme.

I wear this Apre...visiting friends, dining out or cruising the ski towns. It's warm, blocks wind and dresses up a pair of jeans. A must have for Apre.

I now own two Covert Fleece's; one for around the house and car, and one for office during those days when you want a little more warmth. It's great for hiking when you only need something light, and not layers or water proof. The Covert is 'comfort' with a natural feel and fits slightly large which is great as I prefer most outwear a little loose. Try wearing your Covert with a pair of felt 'Glerups' slippers - two friends that you'll want to always keep close by. Enjoy.

I've just had my Convert Cardigan for several weeks, so I can't comment on durability. I'm sure, based on experience with past Arcteryx products, this will not be an issue.
The fit of the Cardigan is on the larger side. I am 6'2" tall and weight 187 lbs. I wear a size medium, which fits me perfectly. This is despite the fact that I wear a size large in nearly every other Arcteryx piece I own. Despite having to size down, it is the perfect balance between comfort, performance, and looks. I use this, mainly, as an everyday jacket, but occasionally will wear it under a rain shell when hiking. It works perfectly for this.
I get many compliments on its appearance. The way Arcteryx can make a fleece jacket look like a wool sweater is pretty awesome.
All-in-all, I'm really happy with it. It is quickly becoming my most used piece of Arcteryx kit.

A male friend had a Covert Cardigan that looked so good I wanted one. I couldn't figure out what I was looking for so I called customer service and described it and voila the rep knew exactly the style. The jacket is a slim fit. It is soft next to the skin but substantial like a warm blanket. Not a fleece, more like a boiled wool weight, but not scratchy like wool can be. I love my jacket. I bought the Nightshadow, which is a cadet blue. I'd love it in a khaki or olive green (it comes in that color in the men's version.)

Searched for a while for a nice midlayer to go on hikes and to commute with. Have not had any problems so far with this jacket after using it for a few weeks. When layered properly it does its job well. Have not tried utilising it without an outer hard shell yet so i cannot comment on wind penetration.
Overall very nice jacket would recommend!

I purchased the covert cardigan (argent) because I was looking for a new fleece that was warm but also presentable enough to wear in a variety of environments. It fits very well, and I wasn't disappointed!
Earlier this year I was packing for a long trip out of the country that would involve a number of multi-day backcountry hikes in chillier climates, including alpine walks in New Zealand. I hesitated whether to bring the covert cardigan as I knew it would be subject to rough treatment and many, many days of wear. In the end, I brought it because not only would it keep me warm, it also looks good enough to wear in town, to casual restaurants, etc.
While I didn't hike in my covert cardigan, it became a key peace of evening attire, keeping me warm after a long day on the trail, and often through the night if really cold.
I wore this fleece almost daily for months and was thoroughly impressed with its durability, warmth, and odour resistance. (I have experienced minimal pilling of the fabric, but considering how often I have worn the garment, it is very minimal.)
This fleece is now a valued part of my cold weather travelling kit and I would absolutely purchase it again.

This is a very comfortable top to wear anywhere I'm going. This is the first time I have bought an Arcteryx top. The fit, finish and the pink tulip color are top notch. I happened upon this sweater top when I was walking in DC in August. Even though it was summer I could not resist the gorgeous color. Usually every winter top is in a muted tone but this one caught my eye and I was hooked. My husband also bought a lightweight jacket because he does not like heavy winter jackets. The fit and finish is also great. He has not worn his as yet but it's very soft and looks quite well made.

I own two them (Harvest and Black), I simply loved them. Very confortable, warm and soft. I like the clean and casual look of it. Usaually, I'm wearing Medium, but for this one, it was a better fit in Small size.
Highly recommanded.

Like the new fit. Less boxy and bulky. This piece is great as a midlayer for active pursuits and still it is classy every to wear as outer wear for going out.
