Waterproof indeed, so not as light and breathable as older models, but still comfortable and good for intended purpose. Also I'm a 10.5 generally but 11 is snug so they run smallish

Got a great deal on these during Black Friday. Fit great and the waterproof works well in snow days!

This item arrived 1 day early. They run narrow, maybe a little small. Very supportive.

The shoe is great. Its appearance is very nice and the interior layout is comfortable. In order for it to deserve another star, the heel needs to touch the ground more softly when stepping.

I have not had these very long but they seem to be quality. When I first tried them on I had to doublecheck the box to make sure they were WIDE because they did not feel very wide. I bought these specifically to have a good waterproof shoe for an Alaska cruise trip next year, so I will have plenty of time to break them in and they won't be used for any strenuous hikes on this trip .

I wear 12D, ordered 12D. They barely fit lengthwise - could maybe use 12.5 if they were available. Also toe box is pretty tight. After wearing all day for 4 straight days, right small toe a bit too tight for extended wear - maybe could have tried a wide. I put on cushy boot sox & that made everything good. Left feels fine - can wear forever. It's a challenge mail ordering - maybe order 2 pair of slightly different size with the idea you'll be sending 1 back.

These shoes, in a 13 reg plus heavy socks, fit my foot as though they were made off a last. I tried to duplicate this in a Redmond III based on a phone call to Columbia that the R III was "just a difference in style" but I find those to be wider and slightly longer. I am contemplating a couple more pairs to last through hiking seasons.
The main objection I have is that the waterproof claim is a bit suspect. I seem to get a wet sensation up near the ouside of the right foot. No visible separations, so I wouldn't wade in these if avoidable.
I may replace the Columbia insoles (which for me are usually insufficient) with one that does better orthotically as I've been prone to PF in the left foot. However, I switched back to these this week because the Merrell low cuts I was wearing for sheer speed ralso were providing insufficient ankle support on that same left foot.

It looks like a sturdy shoe and run true to size. I would recommend it.

I bought two pairs - sizes 9.5 and 10 - as I was unsure of correct size. The 10 was the best fitting for me, which is the usual size I wear for sneakers. So, I would say these shoes run true to size. The quality seems good. I have not worn these yet, except for try-on. They seem comfortable, except for one minor complaint. The heel is rounded on the sides and back, making the shoe a bit unstable when walking - stepping down on heel first. Stability could be improved by making the heel broader and flatter.

The boots are waterproof under the rain. The stripes on upper are not all from suede, but partually from artificial material. The sole touches the ground not by all platitude, but in separate areas.

Purchase and delivery went well. These seem to be well made. I have been wearing Merrell hiking boots but decided to try these. The quality is good, and the only issue I have had is the width. I ordered a half size larger than normal, and the length is fine. The width, however, is very tight. I have been wearing them around the house trying to break them in. I am about to try what our drill sergeants did in basic, fill them with water and walk them dry.

Im more than satisfied with my purchase of these shoes. I work at a local theme park and walk about 10 miles during any given day. These have been more than comfortable on my feet. My only wish is that my feet were qble to breathe just a little more.

The shoe his a nice full toe box, and is generally a great fit (true to size). It seems very rugged and well made. The only minor complaint I have is the bed is somewhat hard and not cushioned enough. I added inserts and they're perfect and all counts.

I have had several pairs of Columbia hiking boots and recently the newer shoes are running a little tight, I am hoping these will stretch out. I Still think they are a great product.

This is a nice boot..true to its description, but it does seem to run a bit small and narrow for my historically accurate 8.5 US size. I'll keep this pair, but next time I'd order a half size up. A boxier toe would help this boot.

They feel good and look good. Could stand a bit more toe room though. Haven't had them long but they are comfortable. Be sure you order up at least 1/2 size from your usual, perhaps even a full size.

Well made shoe. Light. Good price. I just wish the soles where thicker. Not enough padding for standing all day.

These seem to be really great, but unfortunately one of the shoes wasn't put together quite right, so I have to send them back. My husband wears a 9 and I purchased a 9.5 and they fit just right, so others are correct about needing to size up a bit.
