Has great support. I wear a wide shoe and it is very difficult to find comfort. I did order the wide. They have it all-- comfort, support and style. Thanks Zappos for everything. I have another pair in my cart .

I was looking for light weight shoes to wear at work. I was tired of wearing sneakers and needed something with more support and warmth. These boots are just what I was looking for. I took these out of the box and wore them to work for nine hour day. They are so comfortable.

I am a 71 year old male with flat feet and wear a size 15 shoe. I purchased my first pair of Columbia Redmonds elsewhere and felt they were the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, but they were a little too snug and I have had to have my right shoe stretched. I decided to buy a 2nd pair from Zappos because they offered them in an E wide width. They are much more comfortable and I would advise anyone purchasing these shoes to consider getting a wider width than you normally do. Again, these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and I thank Zappos for having my big size.

Firstly, I think this shoe looks better in person, the contrasting grays stand out in a good way. It is ESSENTIAL in my opinion that you order this shoe 1/2 size larger than you usually wear. I took the advice of a few previous reviewers and ordered a 11 & 1/2 instead of my usual 11, and that was the ticket. They seem well made. Today, they had their first moisture/rain test and passed with flying colors. Two thumbs up!

I ordered thsee for my husband to replace a previous pair od Columbia shoes. These are just as great, comfortable right from the box. He uses them for walking and has a high arch so these give him the support he needs.

Great shoe. Maybe one of the most comfortable shoes I've bought in a while. I have a wide foot with a high instep. I always struggle to find shoes that fit well. This shoe fits me wonderfully. For sure a half size small. I am usually a 10 1/2 to an 11. I ordered an 11 but had to send them back for an 11 1/2.

Bought these shoes to hike/run with my dog this spring / summer / fall. They did this and more without a problem, including walking around Montreal, QC. I have been wearing them more and more in the cold winter weather here in NH for both work and their original intent to walk the dog. Well worth the investment.
