Runs a little small and is not as warm as I would think it should be for having the down and omni heat reflective. The wind goes right through it. I would not recommend it. I have not even worn it in real cold weather yet.

I was surprised how light the package was. The coat is extremely light and that kind of disappointed me. I had tried it on and went outside though and it seemed to be warm so I'll keep it. The coat seems almost fragile since it is light and the fabric that it is made of. I really hope it will hold up and be warm enough to walk around campus with for next year.

Bought this product last year and tried it in cold weather a couple of times. I thought it was great... at first. Now I live full time in Chicago and it is just not cutting it. as the temperature dropped and the wind picked up, I slowly realized this coat would not be enough. the omni heat lining only works if you're really out moving around. otherwise, the wind cuts right through it. The cinch waist does not stay cinched. All of the zipper get stuck so easily I'm constantly getting stuck in my coat. This just isn't the coat I expected it to be. Currently in the market for a better one

Very nice, I love the color but I seem hen leaving feathers everywhere. Actually not return to buy it.
The jacket will be without feathers. The feathers look me in the jacket as it exits. is no longer just purple, now is purple and white :(
I am also concerned about the zipper. How long the zipper work?

I was disappointed because it's only 600 fill. XS runs a little small to me and so I up size to S. Very large for me. I need to wear one more coat inside to feel warm. Please fix your size issue and more fill for long down jacket. Thanks. I don't recommend this for those who afraid of cold.

I was looking for a long jacket that would stand up to very cold weather, as this one was advertised. It is extremely light and thin, and is nowhere near the 600 fill down that they claim. I need a jacket that will keep me warm during Western New York winters. I tested this out in 35 degree weather with a very light wind, wearing a smartwool cami, merino turtleneck, and a cashmere sweater underneath, and despite the Omni Heat lining, the cold cut straight through. Omni Heat is not a substitute for down. It's a shame; it is flattering and the charcoal gray (not black as stated) is actually very nice. Another note: I ordered a large, even though I am a medium in any other brand. Columbia runs small! Back it goes!!

Loved this jacket so much, however within the first year of buying it, the material ripped. It is rather delicate and if you snag it on anything (getting out of a car, shoveling, snow blowing) it will rip. Will not be repurchasing because I spent so much on this jacket and warranty didn't cover the tear even within the first year.
