I love this jacket - it is light but warm and comfortable and elegant!

We bought my daughter this coat for college to be sure more of her body would be covered. Our family has several Columbia jackets and we have always been very pleased with the quality. It is very light weight and the Omni-heat technology keeps you very warm.

I love this coat. It's thin and not overly bulky. You'd think, "Gee, I bet that's not very warm." You'd be wrong. It has omni-heat technology that works wonders. I live in Minnesota, which is cold...really cold (we had a high of -11 degrees without the windchill once...and I live in the southern part). The coat kept me as warm as any coat could in this climate. Seriously, love it.

Was skeptical when the coat arrived, the package was feather light. Quickly figured out this coat was the best investment I ever made! Very light weight and not too bulky. The zipper takes a little getting used to since there are two zipper pulls. These actually come in handy though, you can unzip the bottom of the coat making it easier to get in and out of vehicles. And best of all... this coat is toasty warm!! I live in the Midwest, it reached ten below zero this winter and my coat exceeded expectations and kept me warm. I definately recommend!

This coat is great! Perfect fit, right length for me and SO warm! I'm thrilled with it and so glad to have it with the start of a cold lacrosse season and football in the fall. By far the warmest coat I own and finally the right thing for watching outdoor sports.

This coat should really be called "heartbreaker" because it is loved by many. It's feminine, and comfy. And just like it promises, easy cleaning. I got a smudge of red lipstick and dirt from my dirty snowy car on the pocket and sleeve...freaked out of course but cleaned it up with a makeup remover wipe for the lipstick and regular wipe for dirt. Beautiful! Just like new! In 20 something degree weather I don't need another under layer just a real bulky scarf to cover my neck and ears. The front is past my knee and the back is lower. Common sense told me to wear some Red long warmers because I'm a skirt girl. Love. I travel to work by train.

This Hexbreaker Columbia Jacket is awesome. It is so light and warm, really amazing. I can wear a thin shirt/blouse underneath and in the coldest of weather, I am warm. Very comfortable too, and I have received many compliments on it.

I spent months trying to find the perfect long winter coat and this is by far the best coat I have found. It is SO warm and looks great. 20-30 degree weather literally doesn't phase me in this coat. It's fitted and not boxy like many others I have tried. I have gotten tons of compliments and friends have even bought it after seeing me wear it. It fits true to size - I am 5'5", 115lbs and the Small fits perfectly. There is still space for a sweatshirt or something underneath without making it look too big and unshapely. Plus, it is water resistant, unlike many others, so you don't get that musty damp smell. Absolutely perfect!!

Warm, comfortable and lightweight! It is roomy enough to wear layers under when needed. I am 5 feet 9 inches and weigh 110 lbs., the XS length is perfect!! Just waiting for the snow to fall this season!

This coat is phenomenal. Super, super warm and very light weight. It keeps the wind out. I have to take it off when I go into stores because I'll start sweating, even with just a light shirt underneath. My only complaints are that I wish the pockets were a bit bigger, and I'd replace the two-way zipper with a regular zipper. It has the kind that unzips from the bottom--I don't use it that way and I always find them harder to zip-up. I am 5'8" and 125 lbs and the size small fit me great.

I have been wanting a long jacket for this winter, but was worried a long one would swallow me as I am just over 5 foot. I tried this jacket on in stores and LOVED IT. I had to order because i couldn't stop thinking about it. This was the first puffy jacket I tried on that was actually flattering, due to the adjustable cinch at the waist and longer length in the back. Super stylish, super comfortable, and super versatile. I have worn it everyday since I got it!

I have been searching for a warm parka for years as here in Minnesota it seems winter can last 7 months! 30F today no wind and it was TOO warm.....yes.....that's the kind of coat i wanted. Light weight. Not too puffy. Slim fit. Soft. Great cuffs to keep the cold out. Easy on and off with bulky layers. Great length. Speedy delivery even to me in the boonies. I agree it would be better with snaps instead of velcro. And i would've loved cuffs with the thumb hole design. I'm 5'5 150# and muscular so the large fits a bit snug in the arms with a heavy sweater. But its a perfect fit everywhere else. VERY impressed with the omniheat lining.... overall super happy with it.

This has become my go-to coat for almost everyday. It's so lightweight, and I like the smart styling, so i don't feel too casual. I actually bought it for the really cold days, but I'm wearing it in milder weather as well. Truly a pleasant surprise.

I already had the shorter version of this coat and I loved that one. So wanted the longer version for dress. I work on a college campus and do a lot of walking. This jacket works perfect for the wind and cold that blows on the campus.

Excellent coat. Incredibly warm, good length as well. Not bulky, nipped waist is flattering. I ordered a small, (5ft7in, 115 lbs) and its roomy enough for lots of layers underneath. The Quill color is beautiful and a nice alternative to black in the winter.

After a lot of debate between the raved Northface Metropolis Parka and this jacket, I decided on Columbia for harsh Chicago winters. This jacket is well worth the money as the only negative thing I can say is that I wish I would have bought it sooner while I was in college! It is incredibly lightweight, not at all bulky, and very stylish for a puffer. I love the drawstring on the inside - I very slim in the waist and having it allows me to cinch in the torso for a slim fit when I'm not wearing heavier layers underneath. I recently tested this coat out at a 4+ hour tailgate and football game in 35 degree weather with very brisk winds and I was warm the entire time with just a thin long sleeve and tank top underneath. The omni-heat technology really helps to keep your body heat inside the coat without perspiration, and I love that it is long enough to cover my thighs and bum. For reference, I am 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs, measurements of 32-26.5-34.5 high hip and 36.5 low hip. I got the XS and it fits snugger in the bottom and looser for layers in the top with a great fit overall. I've already gotten a lot of compliments and inquiries on this jacket from my friends and I'm excited to be able to spend more time outdoors this winter!

I would call the Sea salt color a soft white. It's a pretty, classy color. The coat is well made. I didn't have any problems with feathers poking through or any sort of down feather smell (you'd be surprised that other well known brands reek of feathers and have that old dusty down feeling.) Very nice and comfortable to wear. I would love to have kept it but realized I needed something more like a parka that has a waterproof exterior.

I gave this to my daughter as an early Christmas present this year. She likes it a lot. The jacket is warm (it has a high tech lining that makes you feel like a baked potato) and the hood is adjustable, and the fit is perfect. My daughter wears a size 10 so I bought her the medium and the large. She ended up taking the large so that she can do lots of layering underneath. What I like best about the coat is that it doesn't look like the outerwear that makes you look like you are wearing a raft. You will be shocked at how light this coat is, to carry around. I am very pleased with Columbia, and Zappos rocks!

I absolutely love this jacket. The cuffs, the hood, the zipper, the pockets, the Omni Heat - it's the perfect mixture of function and fashion and I love how you can cinch the waste in as little or as much as you like. It's so comfortable too. Don't underestimate Columbia - this Omni Heat technology is tried and true.

This coat is lightweight, warm, and super soft. Plenty of room to wear layers. Sleeve length is great and the cuffs are soft and snug but not tight. Love the length. So glad I purchased this coat!

Great coat, but is a little big for me, because I read info saying fits smaller so order a size larger. Should not have, but I am keeping it.

I wanted a slightly longer jacket to wear with my longer sweaters but I didn't want one below my knees. This jacket fits perfectly in size and length. I love the fitted cuffs inside the sleeves. This jacket is comfortable and not at all bulky. It seems pretty warm but I haven't had a chance to test it out in subzero weather this year. My only problem so far is that the zipper is really touchy to get started and a few times I have been in a hurry so I have had to just leave it open and use only the velcro closures. I saw lots of reviews that mentioned zipper issues with this jacket so I sure hope Columbia fixes this issue. Columbia has a great life time zipper warranty. This was a replacement from Columbia for a previous broken zipper.

I love everything about this jacket except the front pockets are too small/shallow. I don't have large hands, but my hands don't stay warm in the pockets. I also have a large phone and it barely fits in the pocket. It's also hard to have my phone in my pocket AND keep my hand warm in it. I just wish this jacket had deeper, larger front pockets. Other than the pocket issue, the jacket has a cute fit, looks nice, and is very warm! I am almost always a size small, but I ended up purchasing this jacket in an XS because it was more slimming without hindering my arm/shoulder mobility.

I just got this coat and it has proven to be very warm. It has lost a few down feathers so far but I am hoping that is just due to it being brand new.

Let me start that I love this jacket-- it is warm, it is the perfect, long length, and it's not bulky, but rather is slightly form fitting. I have the perfect amount of room in this and the sleeve spandex-like material that you can pull out at the bottom some fits great over gloves. HOWEVER, for a jacket of this price I should not have down feathers bleeding out and sticking to my clothes. It is not out of every seam, but every day that I wear this jacket from 1/06/18, not even a month of wear in it, I have to pull out feathers that are sticking out or they just come out. This is a disappointing quality.
