Meets all my expectations. Runs true to size. Warm and stylish. Love the cuffs, lined pockets and zippers on the pockets. All in all a great coat. Deducting one star because it's a bit tricky to zipper. Keeps getting caught on the inside flap. Otherwise, keeps me warm while walking the dog when it's about 20 degrees out.

I have really enjoyed the lightweight warmth of the coat. The improvement I speak of is related to the Velcro to keep the outside of the coat closed, it rubs and catches on clothing when carrying or when putting on, snaps would be much better. Have found this to be true on the one purchase just prior for my family member. Velcro is very annoying.

Love the look. 2 major things I would change: better zippers. They get stuck often trying to zip up the jacket. I would also put buttons instead of velcro along the side of the main zipper because the velcro gets stuck to everything! My hat, scarf, etc. And even it just sitting or hanging the Velcro gets caught on things around it. Overall, it keeps me warm and is a good looking coat.

Love the coat! Thin, warm, etc. HOWEVER - I cannot for the life of me understand how to use the adjustable waist! I need it to be brought in, but the way it is set up makes no sense - pull it in, but nothing secures it from going back out..... ANY TIPS???

I have a really hard time fitting into jackets but this one fits me perfectly! It was the only one in store and I love it. I tried on the voodoo long jacket and had to go up a size and it was still a little small. The only problem I have with the jacket is the down comes out of it every time I wear it.

I received my coat about three weeks ago. Prior to purchasing, I had researched many coats that were similar to this. I wanted one that would keep me warm in the Michigan winters. This coat does just that and fits great. I am 5'5 and 120ibs and ordered a medium, which fits great. I love that you can take in the middle part of the coat for a fitted look. There are a few things that could use improvements, however. I wanted a coat that had a hood, but I am not a fan of this one, I feel that it is too small. Also, I've only had the coat for three weeks, and feathers are already coming out. The coat feels very thin, so I was worried at first that it wouldn't be warm enough, but it is! I am always so cold during the winter, so I thought I'd spend a little extra money on a nice coat. This does the job and I would recommend!

Love this jacket. Great length, sooo warm and looks nice. It was a bit roomier than I expected, I could have gotten a medium but the large gives me enough room to put heavy clothes underneath. The only reason I kept one star out is because the outside material can be snagged or ripped pretty easy. It's a very thin poly layer but the insulation is great.

I love this coat. It is so lightweight, yet extemely warm. I am 5'11 so I decided to get and XL for length but I have lots of room and could comfortable worn a L so I would call it true to size, also there is a waist cincher so it still looks fashionable. I love that the pockets have a warm lining. The only thing I have noticed is the down feathers tend to come out so that is why I lowered the quality rating

i absolutely love this coat. I was a bit skeptical at first because it was so light weight but it's very very warm. Our Indiana winter this year wasn't as harsh as in the past but it did get down to 20 below for just a few days and I was toasty warm and protected from the elements. I'm 5'3" size 8, and the medium fit perfectly and I have gotten so many compliments on it. I ordered the winter white color because it was the only color left in my size. It does have some soiled spots but I'm sure they'll come out when I wash it because I've had no problem wiping most of the dirt off when it happens. It's a winner!!

This is a great winter jacket that kept me really warm in below zero weather. The great thing about it is that even though it is a winter jacket it is very light. The only think I am not in love with is the fact that the feathers are coming out already. I have had a lot of down jackets and the feathers come out but not as quick as this one.

I purchased this jacket to keep me warm while walking my dog and it definitely does the job! The jacket is very lightweight and allows for movement, but don't think that it isn't warm because of that...it is! Here in the midwest February was a brutal month, very cold temps and even colder windchill. This jacket kept me very warm and I'm super glad I purchased it! It isn't too puffy and still has a little bit of a fitted look. I also love that the hood is removable.

This coat is effective for keeping warm. I'd love it in another color.

I love my coat. It is extremely warm, plus I love the warm pockets. I also like the soft elastic band at wrists. It comes with a detachable hood that I don't use. I wish it was a tad bigger in the hips and that the length was 2-3 inches longer. Also when trying to zip zipper up or down it gets stuck in the material around the zipper sometimes.

I purchased this coat to wear in the cold and windy Chicago winters. We've had below freezing temps and high winds, which this coat handled well. I was a little concerned about the size (I have size large hips and size medium chest), but I went with the medium. It's a little tight over the hips, but I can sit and move without issues, and there's still room to layer if needed (though I haven't needed to yet). I love the purple color, too. Overall, highly recommend.

I live at 10,000 feet in the mountains with 9-months of snow each year. I have been looking for a long winter jacket that's not a ski jacket for years. I researched this jacket and purchased it vs comparable at the local outlet because it has 1) zippered pockets 2) an internal zippered wallet pocket 3) non-fur lined, removable hood 4) longer length. I have been very pleased with it, even on a 45 minute gondola ride in 0 degree F temps. It looks classy over a pair of slacks or a skirt. It is NOT waterproof, and it is NOT windproof, so layer appropriately if you need that functionality.

I ordered the xs black coat. It is a lighter shade of black than I expected - it looks more like a very dark shade of blue when you are wearing it with dark black pants. The reason I rated it a 4 is that the zipper gets stuck when I'm trying to zip it up and won't zip unless I try it a few times. However, it does have the velcro to keep it closed so you don't have to zip it up. The best part of the coat is it is very lightweight and thin, but keeps me very warm. I've been wearing it in 20 degree weather. You do not feel the wind or cold at all. I was actually very surprised that it is so thin and it insulates heat so well. I'm 5'3 and 117 pounds and the XS was a perfect size for me.

I live in southern Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay. Weather is similar to DC and foothills of TN. The sizing seems very true to size. I ordered a large and it's a little big, but that's good, as it leaves room for layers. From when I unpacked it, it was losing down feathers right away, which makes me question the durability of the jacket. Additionally, it's *much* more lightweight in general and in the thickness of the outer material. It doesn't shed rain well, but it doesn't seem to absorb it, either. PROS: packability, lightweight, oversized hood, warmth CONS: durability, zipper start at bottom a little finicky, not very water resistant Overall, a good purchase for casual wear, but not something I would ever wear on a boat or for any even moderate athletic activity.

I Love the my new coat, it's comfy and Nice and warm! However, the Velcro on the closures, I do not like at all. They are already coming off, I have only worn the coat for a week. They just need to figure out a new closure design.

This coat is very lightweight. I wore it today in a feels like temp of -1 and felt warm and toasty and I just had a t-shirt on underneath. I liked the drawstring waist to snug it in, the double zipper, and the feel of the overall jackets is lovely, especially the cuffs. The only thing that I would prefer is if it had snaps instead of Velcro for the flap. It has a bottom snap but the rest if velcro. Also, I've been shedding down a bit. Hopefully that is just because its new. Otherwise great coat, hope it holds up in the cold Chicago Winter. 5'7 - 170 lbs - Large (I do have big shoulders) and it's not too loose or to tight (perfect fit). I can wear a t-shirt or a bulky sweater!

It seemed like a nice coat. It said it ran small so I ordered a medium. It was way too big and the sleeves were 5 inches too long. I returned it and I am sure even a small would have sleeves too long.

This is a lovely looking coat- soft material and very comfy. Fits very well, flattering- esp with draw string waist. Ordered a medium- I am 5'6", 150lbs with athletic shoulders and there was plenty of room to stretch my arms out. I was disappointed that the hood attaches with snaps rather than a zipper- my last coat's hood snaps ripped out which is the reason I'm shopping for a replacement. I also don't like velcro closures down the front since velcro typically wears out faster than the coat. Snaps would be better. Because of these issues, I am returning.

I ended up returning this jacket due to the fit. It was a bit off - the sleeves were a little too short (granted, I have long arms for my frame), and the rest of the jacket was too snug for the size (medium). I needed something that would allow for more layering. I did like the Omni-Heat interior and the large side pockets. I did not like the Velcro closures on the storm front; would have preferred snaps. Overall not a bad jacket, but just not for me. I'm 5'6", 130 lbs, slim build, average torso, and the aforementioned long arms.

I will start by saying that I really like the feel of this coat and the warmth. I have two kids so I am constantly running around with them and need to bend over all of the time to pick them up. This coat is a perfect combination of fitted for a flattering look, but loose enough to give me room to move freely around. I also love how light it is. I don't feel like I am wearing anything when it is on, but it is very warm. I live in Michigan and it keeps me plenty warm. The part that I don't like about this coat and has me considering returning it is that it sheds feathers...everywhere. I find them in my car, on my backpack, in the closet. It isn't a ton of them, but it is enough to be annoying. They poke out of the coat and I can pull them out. The other thing that I don't like about this coat is that the pockets are small. With kids, I need large (or at least regular sized) pockets to shove things into. Today my phone just fell out of the pocket and into the snow when I bent down to pick up my 1 year old. This doesn't happen on other jackets I own. If I have gloves in there, I can't really fit anything else. They are just much smaller than I need them to be and smaller than what I am used to in other jackets. As much as I love the feel of the jacket, I think that these two issues are going to force me to return the jacket and look elsewhere for a similar jacket. One with less shedding and larger pockets.

I had high hopes that this coat would be warm enough for a Chicago winter. Sadly it is not. I'm really not impressed with the heat tech lining. In addition the front closure has a lot of velcro, which has a way of snagging sweaters and scarves and ruining them. I didn't have any trouble with the two way zipper, but the fabric around the zipper always gets caught in it when trying to close the coat. I'm glad I got a large so that I can fit additional coats underneath.
