I am 5'1" and 120 lbs and I purchased an XS.
I have been searching for a nice, warm jacket for a few years now. I am SO glad that I found this oneit's exactly what I was looking for. The omni-heat truly works to keep you warm, and because I run cold this is a great feature. To give a little background, I work outdoors in different types of weather, and this jacket has allowed me to stay warm without looking like I'm all bundled up. I love how you can put your thumbs through the thumb hole of the peekaboo sleeve which keeps your hands warm. It also has lots of pockets; I keep finding more the more I wear it. To sum up, I would recommend this jacket to anyone looking to stay warm without the extra bulk.

I bought this jacket for myself as a warm, waterproof layer to easily put on during the rainy winter months here in Kodiak. This jacket is awesome because I can just grab it and go, which is so important with two little kids! I like that it has the warmth and thickness of a 3-in-1 jacket, but is just one jacket. I have lots of layers and thinner jackets I can make work but this is just so much easier. It's pretty much my every day jacket. I love all the pockets it has, the thumb holes in the sleeves, and that the visor on the hood keeps the water off of my face. All in all, a great jacket!! For reference, I am 5' 4" and 175 lbs, rather large chested and usually wear a size 12 pants, large or medium tops and the size Large fits comfortably and I can even wear a thin layer over my shirt if I need to under the jacket.

The quality of this coat is top notch! I live near Lake Erie and our weather is can unpredictable. We get lake effect snow and very cold temps. This coat held up well during one of our storms. Whether I was shoveling snow, cleaning snow off my car or being out with the dog.. this coat kept me warm and blocked the high winds. I picked the pink color and got many compliments on it. It also has many pockets for storage. I love the front pocket. I store my phone in there for easy access and protection from the elements.
Just be aware that Columbia's coats run small. I'm normally a medium size, but I ordered a large. It fits great! I can still layer underneath. I highly recommend this coat!

This is a great winter jacket. I wasn't sure at first, since it's not bulky like some coats, but it's warm and comfortable. It does run small. I normally wear a small, but chose the medium to have some room for sweaters and such.

I love this jacket. I got it to replace an older one which ran a little big , so I again ordered a small, since is said it ran a little small. It is a little too small to wear anything bulky under it but, so far it has been soooo warm that I have not needed another layer. I just have to be careful not to gain any weight or it may be too small. When it says something runs small believe it. Otherwise I am extremely happy with it and it maintains the same excellent quality as its predecessor.

I bought this for my daughter who is the most picky dresser I've ever known. She doesn't like to wear any jackets even during the winter. She loved this one immediately and wears it everyday. I now dont have to argue with her to wear a warm jacket. She loves the look, warmth and functionality. Its true to fit and looks great, best thing ever knowing she will be warm during the harsh winters we have here. My while family now wears Columbia and couldn't be happier, I definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

This coat has the warmth of a 2in 1 jacket as a single layered coat. It stays warm in wet snow and strong winds. The Omni heat technology is a great feature! Highly recommend especially for outdoor activities and sports like cross country skiing or hiking.

I love this jacket! Fits comfortably with a sweater/sweatshirt underneath. Hood does a great job keeping out the bitter winds. This jacket keeps me toasty warm. Definitely recommend this jacket!

I love this coat, it is exactly what I needed. It is waterproof and warm, the thumb hole had covers are a nice bonus. It fits a size 14 perfectly with enough space in the arms to wear a sweater underneath. I got the black one and it is actually a dark charcoal grey.

I'm 5'7 100lbs normally wear an x-small. This jacket runs very small so I had to return and buy a new one in small, which fits me better. Kept me warm in a 25-30 degree weather with just 1 layer underneath.

So glad that I was able to snag this jacket! I ordered the last one in an XL, and I am so happy with it! I ordered it for a ski trip to Santa Fe, and it kept me very warm in some pretty frigid temps as well as some heavy snowfall. I never felt cold while wearing it, even in 8* temps. I love the finger holes for my thumbs as well as all of the pockets! I was able to stuff everything I needed for the day in the pockets, so I didn't have to carry anything around with me. The little zipper compartment at the wrist was perfect to hold the tokens for our locker at the resort. The pocket on the chest was perfect for our rental agreements and ID's/credit cards. I kept a bottle of water in the large pocket on the inside that is supposed to be for goggles I think. I read other reviews that said to size up, and I'm glad I did. I think a large would have fit, but it was nice to have room for layers. I would totally recommend this jacket to anyone. I kept raving about it to my husband the whole trip!

I walk dogs in Ohio and needed something not fleece to keep me warm when it's cold/wet/windy outside. This jacket is excellent all around. I love that it zips high so I can tuck my chin in and hide from the wind. The hood overhangs so rain drips off in front of me. The fabric at the ends of the sleeves that tucks inside my gloves to keep the cold air out is ingenious. I appreciate the inside and outside chest pockets with zippers to hold poop bags, phone and headphones, leaving the side pockets for gloves and keys. I like the Velcro zipper cover to keep air from leaking in. Everything about this jacket is warm, flexible and well thought out.

I love this ski jacket because it's the perfect level of warmth for intense movement due to the Omni heat lining. This jacket is also made without an interchangeable inner layer which means you still have easy access to your goggle pocket and inner chest pocket. The material is soft and not noisy, so you can easily wear it around town with jeans afterwards. The ski jackets tend to fit a little tight over the hips so I sized up to a large, which is comfortable and leaves room for layering sweaters or stuffing gloves inside while still being able to zip up easily. With elastic cords in the bottom hem and around the hood you can adjust for more snow activity or you can remove the hood to dress down for more casual wear. The dark red and pink color combo is an easy way to dress up plain black trekking pants or just looks cute with denim :)

Temps have dropped again in the South and I was glad to have a warm coat! The Omni-heat inside makes this coat so very warm! I was outdoors for extended periods of time in 30 degree weather and it was perfect. Temps will be in 20s the rest of the week and I expect to be comfortable in the coat despite the cold. I ordered a medium (I weigh 155, 5'4" with hips). I'd say it's a tad snug on my hips but not so much that it's a problem Zipping up. This coat is well worth the money!

I'm 5'2" 100 lbs and got the XS in Lagoon. The jacket is true to size and is a nice fit without being baggy or bulky. The Omni heat fabric covers the entire inside of the jacket, including the sleeves. The hood does not have the Omni heat fabric, but it is a bit insulated. I have poor circulation due to an autoimmune disease and am always cold. This jacket is very warm and definitely wind proof. The hand pockets are warm and zip up. I love the wrist cuffs that keep the cold air out of the sleeves. All the other pockets are great if you don't want to carry your purse for keys, phone, etc. I'd highly recommend this jacket for cold weather spots like Cleveland, Boston, Chicago, NY, etc. It's more for temps below freezing. Any warmer and you'll get too hot, I think.

Since my kids have omni-heat jackets, I decided to get myself one (along with some omni-heat boots and snowpants.) I'm 5'6" and around 115lbs, so I got the small. It's still form fitting, but allows room for thicker articles of clothing underneath. I'm one of those people who is cold no matter what. My house is always at 70 degrees and I still need two pairs of pants and a thick sweatshirt. So when it comes to winter clothing, there's really nothing out there that will keep me 100% warm. My first time testing this jacket out was when I took the kids to see some Ice Castles. This meant 3 hours in 20 degree weather. I was warm up until about the last half hour... and I had 3-4 layers on my whole body. So I think overall, the jacket did fairly well.

I bought this jacket to go skiing next week. I got the red one...love the color! I bought a large so that I can layer comfortably. It fits more like a medium in the arms and waist length. However, there seems to be a good amount of room for layering. It's comfortable and light weight. I'll definitely be able to wear it outside of skiing too!

I really love first how well this coat fits, it's comfortable and warm. The outer layer has been perfect for our confused season of snow, then rain then freezing rain then snow again. The zipper and hood are a great feature to block out the wind tunnels whether I'm walking along the beach or thru a wind tunnel in town. Wish i had gotten another one before they sold out. The red is a nice soft red not really a pink but not an over the top bright red either. Overall I just really love this coat
