Very well constructed jacket. It is not thick but is great at keeping me warm. Took it on a ski trip and I was dry and toasty - to the point of being too warm. All I needed was sweat shirt on and this jacket. A great buy!

My wife loves the jacket, it looks good and is definitely warm. Lots of extra pockets and all one piece jacket.

I wanted a new jacket to coordinate with a pair of new ski pants and fell in love with this Alpine Action jacket! Snow skirts are a requirement for me as regardless of Experience and skill, I've never met someone that wants snow up their back or down their pants while out there! The thumb holes won me over. I constantly take off my mittens while on runs to video my kids and the thumb holes keep fabric over much of my hand. If anyone is new to Columbia, Omni tech is amazing and you can't go wrong with any coat/pant/headband/neck gaitor that has the feature.

I recently went skiing for the first time and needed new everything - gloves, pants, helmet and jacket. This jacket was an incredible value. It is very warm and very well made. The jacket is fitted around your wrists and you have the option to fit it around your waist so that very little wind (or snow if you're falling) gets in. The jacket has a lot of pockets, too. Would highly recommend!!

This coat is exactly what I was looking for A winter jacket for hiking. The number of pockets are fantastic, when winter hiking you have tons of layers to strip as needed and I have plenty of space for the waterproof layer and/or liner of my gloves as needed and my omniheat beanie when I need to cool off. The snow pass pocket is excellent for my maps. I was surprised by how thin and light this jacket was in comparison to me other winter coats, which are all heavy-duty, keep my butt warm when I'm getting gas at 6am in wind chills of 5 degrees. Turns out this jacket keeps me extremely warm without weighing me down which I've no doubt Columbia intended it to do. This jacket is PERFECT for winter activities.

Very nice quality jacket. Ample pocket space , silhouette hugging, very lightweight but keeps warm. I really enjoy the comfort cuffs with the thumb holes to keep extra warm .The only issue was to find the right fit, it seems to run a bit large for a true fit despite using the size chart. I had to reorder a smaller size. Very happy this product

Great quality, fits perfect, ideal length, not too happy and not too light, perfect for skiing or snowboarding or outdoor activities.

This is a warm jacket but it doesn't have the liner that you can take out

This jacket is great. My sister and I got it in pink, and I got another one in Navy Blue. They are nice and warm, protect you from the wind and rain, and have lots of pockets. We are not using for snow-like environments, but they fulfilled our expectations!

I bought this jacket to go skiing in Lake Tahoe. The jacket kept me very warm and fit perfectly. I definitely would recommend this jacket for skiing. There were lots of pockets which were functional and I liked the fact they all zipped.

The first time I wore this was on the mountain with the family! We had snow, wind, a little sun in 14 degree weather and I stayed warm and dry. It is not bulky, fits very nicely and I am 5'5" and 125lbs I ordered a small.

This jacket performed really well on the mountain. Since it's insulated you don't need layers but if it's a sunny day on the mountain this could make you work up a sweat. Unzipping the jacket helps when it is hot though. Overall it's a great buy though.

Perfect fit. Keeps me warm and dry. I wore an second layer when we had temps in the teens a few weeks ago, but I was comfortable. The thumbhole cuffs are soft and comfortable. I always have a problem with coat sleeves being slightly too short so those are a nice feature. Lots of pockets. The zipper goes pretty high up if you want to protect your face from wind... can cover my mouth. If it had sherpa-lined hand pockets, it would be the perfect winter coat! Nice materials and it doesn't weigh too much. Not bulky, but it's plenty warm.

I've been up on the mountain a few times in this -- from 20 degrees and windy, snowy conditions to a bluebird 40 degree day. The jacket is pretty nimble. I get cold easily and have not been cold once in it, whether skiing or around town. The pockets are accessible for ski passes (front left zip), ID and safety (inside left zip) and phone, keys, etc. in the left and right side zips. The jacket is NOT bulky, which is nice if you're wearing it around town. It's pretty stylish.

I bought this jacket for a recent ski trip. It was warm and comfortable (even with layers). I was afraid I'd be too hot or too cold, but it was perfect (and I was out all day). I loved all the pockets! Great for holding snacks, cellphone, etc. I am very happy with this purchase.

It's great! I have two Alpine Action OH Jackets, one is black, another one is blue! They are so warm and unwind. I like it very much! Recommend it!

Fits nicely. Usually ski jackets are boxy but not this one. The pink is a nice color too. The only down side for me was that it wasn’t warm enough for me. But may not be a problem for many people

I love my columbia jacket, it is very warm and definitely a coat only for cold weather. Does get dog hair stuck to the outside easily but other than that it's wonderful

I read many reviews, and I was on edge about ordering my regular size- a medium- since many reviewers said that it was too small. I went ahead and purchased a medium and large. The way the coat is, it's purposely made to be a little snug on your body, as it will keep your body temperature. I haven't taken it skiing yet, but a nice pair of long johns and a sweater atop will fit just fine under the coat. The pockets are awesome, the pink is bright (but not over bearing) and I love the fitted look to it! I don't like going out to a beautiful place looking like a jacket is wearing me. I'd even recommend it off the slopes. It's super flattering. I'm glad I bought both, but know why it is a tad snug. If you have a huge chest, you may want to go with the size up, though. Happy customer!
