I purchased this jacket for downhill skiing and have been pleased with how well it works in blowing snow and sunshine. I find that it is important to air it out between uses to keep it fresh.

This is the best Jacket I've ever purchased. I love that it's water proof as I live in the Pacific North West. Living where I do the weather on occasion can go thru what it seems all four seasons in one day, so it makes this Jacket perfect as it's actually 3 in one with the zip out inside liner, outside liner and then all zipped up together :) I will from here on out always rely on Columbia.

I bought this coat for my daughter for Christmas. She loves this coat, she said it is very light weight and very warm. She thanked me several times. She liked it so much that I ordered one for myself I'm waiting for it to arrive, can't wait!

I originally bought the Medium size because thats what I normally wear....I ended up exchanging it for an Extra Small!! I suppose if I wanted to layer under it, then a Medium would have been okay. It's really cool that you can wear this in three different ways. You can wear just the outer layer, which is a VERY light rain proof shell. The fleece part is SUPER warm. I feel like I would just wear that if it wasn't raining and be nice and toasty. The both of them combined is just perfect. Very nice quality and button attachments and zippers make it so the fleece layer stays attached to the outer layer and doesn't get all bunched up. Great jacket! Very happy with it!!!

My daughter picked this jacket for her Christmas gift this year. When it came in, I had her try it for size before I wrapped it. Good thing I did. It was quite big on her, and she was wearing a sweatshirt under it. I am am exchanging it for a smaller size. Other than the fit, it was just what she wanted.

I haven't used it yet. I love the vibrant color and it fits me perfectly! I read a review saying the arms were too long but I am 5.11 and I have long arms so the length is just right.

I was in search of a new winter coat with these specifications: warm, non-bulky, fitted, and waterproof/weather resistant. This jacket is all of those things and I love it. I live in the U.P. of Michigan where temps frequently drop to -20 to -40 degrees Fahrenheit in the dead of winter. Our average winter day time temp I would say is probably somewhere around 15-18 degrees Fahrenheit. Our winter season typically lasts 5-6 months here, with snow during all of those months. I get outside often, and I wanted something that would allow me to move and be active while keeping moisture and snow off of me and keeping me warm. The jacket has a removable lining inside that hugs your body tightly and keeps warmth in. I also like that the lining has elastic around the wrists to keep snow and cold air from getting in. I have walked the dog and gone hiking with this jacket and I was not cold in the slightest. With the sizing, I would probably go up one size. I am 5' 8" and normally wear clothing sizes misses 8-10, which usually translates to a medium in most jacket/clothing size categories. I got a size large in this jacket because I wanted something with a little room to be able to wear a sweatshirt or some layers, plus I typically wear warm sweaters or layered clothing to work anyway in the winter. The large fits perfectly with room to wear a hoodie underneath it, but still stays tight enough to my body and keeps me warm if I'm wearing a thinner long sleeve shirt. The jacket is also lightweight. I was shocked at how light it was, but how warm and wintery it feels. I had a Columbia winter jacket in the past and it was warm, but it was heavy and bulky, so I was expecting the same with this coat. Not the case! All in all: BUY THIS JACKET. If you are active outside in the winter, or you have to get out daily and walk your dog in the snow and cold, this coat is perfect for you.

My daughter is in college in Colorado. She loves this jacket! Especially, that she can wear it with or without the layers depending on the weather. She's also 5'11" and says it fits very well. Would normally wear a L, but wanted to make sure she had extra room for bulkier clothes underneath so bought an XL.

The jacket is just amazing. It runs a little bigger but it's fine because it won't be a problem when layering more clothes under it. I would definitely recommend this product. Worth it.

I've had this jacket for almost a year now. The quality is fantastic. I use both pieces together when it is extremely cold out, the outer layer when it is raining, and the inner layer for cooler days. It seems to run a little large, but that is fine for me since it is never tight over any other clothing. This jacket washes extremely well and I recommend it to anyone that asks!

I bought a bunch of these coats to supply our Athletic Trainers on the sidelines of competitions with. They work great for all kinds of weather. They are durable and very waterproof (yes, we have tested this at games where it is down pouring rain for an entire 3 hour competition). They also keep you warm in minus temperatures with wind chill! Good quality coats.

I purchased the Macaw Blue with the plum insert. I feel that Columbia has made some very fine improvements! The inner liner will keep you warm in the winter and it will also "breathe". A wonderful addition to the 3 in 1 jacket!

I really love this jacket! I used it when I went to Germany. I love that you can take out the inner layer and use just the windbreaker part or use just the fleece jacket. It kept me very warm and I love the pockets that it has. Definitely recommend this jacket!

This has been my first purchase of a Columbia product and I have to say I am in love with it! I am always one to be cold, and this actually gets and stays too warm for me. But I won't even say that is a bad thing, I was a little worried about sizing and went with an XL, I should have gotten a L but it's not so big that I feel I should exchange it this simply means I can wear my super warm sweaters to work and still have moving room! I am so pleased with my purchase that I am purchasing a winter jacket for my 3 girls and hubby. It will be great knowing that when they are out in the cold at recess and work that they will be kept warm with such a great product. Columbia now has customers for life with us!

It runs a little big, but I like that because you can wear sweaters or layers under neath the jacket. I bought the white and love the color combo . I am 5'4" and 137 lbs. I bought the size Medium and love the fit. I also love that you can take the lining out and have 2 jackets. I got it on sale too. Great jacket for the winter or summer boating. I would highly recommend this jacket. Also I would buy your normal size too.

I live in the Midwest where the weather can go from cold to hot to rain to snow in one day. It is so light weight but still extremely warm. When it gets a little warmer I can easily unzip the inside liner and I have a nice spring/fall jacket. Its also water resistant making it a perfect rain jacket as well! Its literally a 3 in 1 jacket. And here in the Midwest you need something like that! I typically wear a medium, it is a little big but I can wear another sweater underneath for those negative degree days we have, so I am extra warm! I absolutely love my jacket and would recommend it to anyone!

The day I got this jacket is was really cold here in minnesota but I had to go snow boarding and try it out. I was so warm and by the I was too tiered to go down the hill again, I just laid down on the snow and I remeber thinking I could just stay there all night and probably not freeze. On warmer days I dont over heat, very nice. I am 5'8" and 125 lb and got a medium so I could wear a big sweater under it, not that I need to. A small would have worked. I got white because it looks great on me but I am clumsy and it gets dirty, I have had to put the outer shell in with laundry about once a week and I still look crisp at the end of the season.

I love this jacket light, flexible and warm. It could use vent zippers as it is really warm when snowshoeing and fast walking. The hood is not lined I would buy and recommend again
