I bought this jacket for my teen daughter and she absolutely loves it. It's a nice looking jacket that keeps her warm. Breaks down into a lighter weight jacket for when the weathers a little warmer. Will definitely get out money out of it.

This coat is great, but not if you live in a freezing cold place. I live in upstate NY, and it isn't warm enough to compete with the 5 degree morning temperatures. This coat is awesome for people who live in more mild climates. I wouldn't buy this if it gets colder than 30 degrees.

Definitely waterproof, wind breaker, visible with its reflectives, and warm when active and when temperature is not too cold. Like the deep zipper pockets. Recently walked on icy path in windy weather in high teens F and after about 15 min arms felt cold. When temperature is in negative degrees F, it doesn't feel warm. When I started out cold, putting it on doesn't necessarily warm me. When zipped up all the way, the interior layer often chafes the chin. Usually wears M, but owns L.

First, I should state that I am extremely cold natured. I am always freezing. That being said, this coat kept me warm in 35 degree weather. This might not mean much to some people, but it means a lot to me. Second, this coat is functional. The two layers zip together very easily, and they work extremely well both individually and in conjunction. I have actually wear the lining apart from the shell rather frequently. My only (minor) complaint is the size of the coat. When hiking, it feels a little bulky. It was a bit of a challenge to get my puffy arms through my backpack straps. However, I ordered a size up (M instead of S) for the purpose of range of motion. In either case, the warmth is definitely worth the size of the coat. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I just received my jacket and I couldn't be happier! I do a lot of online shopping and my size fluctuates with each new company, so being that this is my first columbia jacket I was unsure which size to get. I'm 5'6'' and 150 lbs and I ordered a medium; it fits great! There's even room for a sweater underneath for those extra chilly days! Can't wait until it gets cold so I can test out the thermal!

I purchased this product last winter. It runs a little large than other brands. I usually wear small to medium size, but for this one even extra small is a little baggy on me. This coat is very comfortable! It kept me warm during Chicago's winter. But the quality is not as good as I thought. I machine washed the jacket with cold water as the instruction suggested, and the threads went broken. Now there's a hole on my jacket and I don't know how to repair it because it is sewed from inside.

This jacket is pretty awsome!! It's lightweight yet very warm. I love that it's interchangeable and can have two styles instead of just one.

This is a great jacket!! I love almost everything about it. Now I did expect it to be a little snug when I bought it. The soft jacket is huge the sleeves are way too long and its very baggy. The outer shell is not too bad though. It is extremly warm which is what I wanted! I love this jacket!

This coat is very lightweight and warm. I have received many compliments and I really love it. I have marked it down in quality a bit because the inside coat is not secured in enough places to the outside coat, causing it to shift around. I marked the overall rating down to 4 stars because my arms do not stay as warm as the rest of me. However, having said that I do really love this coat!!

I took this jacket on a recent trip to Lake Tahoe. The conditions were unfavorable to say the least. We had a mixture of rain, snow and ice the entire time. I'm happy to say the jacket not only kept me warm, but also did a very nice job keeping me dry. My only negative of the jacket is due to no pockets on the shell jacket, only pockets in the fleece. Many times I like to put my valuables on the inside portion of the jacket and if you have the fleece zipped in, it's impossible. That small feature aside... I would buy the jacket again and recommend it to friends. I normally wear a 4/6 and purchased a size S. The fit was perfect!

I ordered the hibiscus color, which is a pretty color that I would say is a coral color. I am 5 ft 4 inches and 122 lbs and the XS fits perfect. I measured myself using the instructions and originally ordered a S, but this was slightly big. This coat is perfect for the weather in the NW. It is warm enough, and as it warms up in spring I can remove the fleech liner.

Red Hibiscus does not = Red. Red Hibiscus = Deep Coral. We needed RED, so have to return the two jackets we purchased. Will also note, that we purchased this jacket for skiing, and besides the color not being what we need, the cut of the coat and lack of powder skirt also left me nervous of it's functionality for skiing. But it seems like a great everyday use jacket. The fleece liner was very soft. The hibiscus color was also very beautiful, just not what we need.

This is my fourth Bubaboo system jacket. I walk 5 days out of 7 every week and this jacket keeps me dry. The shell is a nice weight, looks good and will probably wear as well as my last Bugaboo. Liner adds warmth, but I often wear alone for quick trips if it's a dry day. My biggest complaint is that the shell only has one interior pocket. My last jacket had two and I prefer putting money in the pocket I don't get into often and my phone (lots of in/out) in the other. Biggest complaint - price went down over $40 a week after I bought it.

Great looking jacket and it was well constructed. It was a little too big for the wife and she didn't like the color so it was returned but I would definitely buy from Columbia again. Would have given it 5 stars but I had to pay to have it returned to them. No free returns.

I was well over due for a new columbia. I decided to up the size so i could wear a little bit heavier shirts but with the new coat, I cant. Arm room in new coat is smaller than my old coat that is a size smaller. Arm room and a little bit restricted in arm movement is my one and only complaint in the XL. quality never disappoints

It's not winter yet so I have worn it only once. Pro: It fits well and the sleeves velcro shut. The pockets zip shut (yah- no more lost gloves). Even the fleece is thermal reflective which is a tradeoff from the softness of the fleece inside but with long sleeves under it's more than fine. The length was great - covering my bum in cold weather is important! The only thing to make it better is: #1- double zipper (for sitting); 2- knit wrist bands inside the fleece, and 3-an inside pocket and 4 - arm vents (great if you are hot and don't want to take off your jacket) .

I have no problems with the quality, I'm a big fan of Columbia. The sizing for this particular product is off. I'm a small in Columbia & ordered such. It was way too big. I'm not even sure an extra small would have fit.

When was 30-25 not too cold, but this jacket is working. My friend bought mans jacket, its really working for winter.

This coat has some great features but was ultimately too big for me. If you like your jacket to fit loosely it would be a good jacket for you. Had plenty of pockets and was very sturdy but not made warm enough for being outside for long periods of time

The product has good pockets , zipper and omni heat. However, I would expect more smooth outershell and the fleece jacket is kind of thin. The hood does not have insulation or padding inside. It is not what I was expecting since I bought it online but consumers who probably saw it in store have a better judgement before purchasing it.
