I cannot say enough good things about these boots. They are stylish and comfortable. They have become my favorite boots that I own (and I own A LOT of boots!) I was worried about them running narrow as others had reviewed but I do not find that to be the case. With regards to the wide calf- these do run a little wider than others- athletic fit is what the box said. This is NOT a problem for me. It is nice to have on a pair of boots and actually have some room at the top. I plan to order another pair in black!

I absolutely LOVE this boot, great for the Fall/Winter seasons but can also be year round (especially up in the PNW where I live!). I have a 16.25" calf and these fit perfectly, even with leggings or jeans tucked in. Tight at first but after the first few wears it does stretch out to mold your shape. These are the only wide calf boots I've ever found to work and will continue to buy! Also have it in the brown as well (bought it a few years ago, they last a while!).

The perfect boots!!! I read all of the reviews and I'm glad I did! I typically wear size 8 in sandals and flats, and 8.5 in tennis shoes and boots/booties. I have NEVER been able to fit my calves in designer boots so I am beyond excited about these!!! My calf at its widest is 16 1/2" (I measured to make sure). The description says 16" but I read reviews of girls with wider calves saying they fit so I took the leap and I'm so glad I did!! I tried them on while wearing J.Crew Gigi pants (very thin material almost like leggings) I zipped them up easily until my tight spot which were a little harder to zip past but they zipped up completely and I could close the button over the zipper. They didn't feel crazy tight or anything either, just perfectly snug. I ordered the 8.5 W, I HIGHLY recommend the W not the M, 't feet are not wide at all but I figured more room couldn't hurt with socks and all the reviews said to do so...DO IT! I'm a little nervous to try them on with jeans but I felt them loosening up a little wearing them around my house. They'll definitely look good with leggings and a sweater or jeggings! I just bought them in black too!!

This is the 3rd pair of wide calf boots that I tried. I love these. The leather is very soft. My calves measure just under 16in and I was able to zip these over skinny jeans, but I can also wear with tights or a dress and they won't be too loose.

Beautiful boot. Soft, gorgeous leather - but I didn't care for the style with the inside being so much shorter than the outside of the boot so I sent them back. Bummer, as these are really beautiful boots and fit my wide calves just fine.

I love these boots. I tried them on a popular retail store but they didn't have my size but Zappos did. I like the look of the boot and being that I have large calves I wanted an even look. Sometimes wide calf boots make the leg out proportion but not these. They were a bit tight in the foot part but since they're leather I know with some wear they'll loosen up quickly.

Wide width and leg opening was too large. Everything else was great.

Perfection! Great fit and super comfort. I wear these all day at work into the evening.

Nice boot. more "camel" (or lighter)colored, than shown in the picture, so that would be my only complaint. They look really nice though, and I'm keeping them.

I wore these boots straight out of the box! Very beautiful and quality-made boots! I purchased it in a size 6W and the color Whisky. I'm 4'll and have a 16 inch calf. I can wear leggings with these boots but with jeans it can be a little tight. I wore them to class for 5 hours and they were pretty comfortable. Overall, I recommend these boots!

I ordered the Wide Calf in a 9W based on reviews and the boots fit perfectly. My calves are 16" and the wide width of the foot bed was comfortable. If I had gotten the medium width they would have been too narrow. These are nice boots and the leather is buttery soft.

Comments re width of calf are correct - I have always thought I had HUGE calves. these boots are gaping with a large amount of empty space.

Love this boot, so comfortable, lots of calf room, button in the back comes undone at times.

These are awesome! I don't consider myself to have wide calves but have a very hard time fitting into boots. I bought these boots and they fit perfectly. There is room for my jeans or leggings. I love them so much that I bought them in brown as well. After years of searching for the perfect boot I think I have found them. I initially thought that the width may be too small but they fit perfectly there as well.

These are great boots. Only complaint is I had to exchange for a wide width. First pair of wide width shoes I ever bought. I was amazed at how narrow the medium width was. I probably could have gotten by with them but when I saw the wide was back in stock in my size I decided to go with comfort. I am only 5'2" with muscular calves from dancing, but since I have shorter legs, I always have a hard time with boots fitting my calves since they oftentimes aren't wide enough on the widest part of my calf. At the widest part I'm probably more like 17". The first couple times I wore them I had to put them over bare legs but they eventually stretched a bit where I can wear my skinny jeans now. I get compliments on these every time I wear them. Love how the ankle is skinny unlike many other wide calf boots. You won't regret purchasing these!

I typically wear a size 7 medium width. After reading reviews, I ordered a 7.5 medium width. I could barely get my foot in, and once I did, there was way too much toe at the front. I exchanged for a size 7 wide, and am happy with them. I've worn them three times and at the end of a long day they start to pinch a little, but they've already stretched out, and after a few more wears they will be good and broken in. Love the style and calf width as well. Can't wait until the black are back in stock so I can purchase those too!

These boots are fantastic! I almost gave up on finding the perfect boot for my athletic calves. After years of searching for boots I am in heaven! The leather is soft and supple. Even though I don't typically order wide widths, after reading the reviews I ordered in wide and I'm glad I did. The foot portion is narrow for sure. The wide fits perfectly with a little breaking in. Unless you have super narrow feet, I'd order the wide width.

Very nice shoes, love the design, good quality. However, the foot is super narrow, so I definitely suggest ordering wide. The boots were also a bit too tall for me (I'm 5'0").

These boots are beautiful! The leather and the color are delicate and sophisticated looking. I wish that I could keep them but unfortunately they do not fit and I am not sure how they are sized. For starters, I am a regular size 8 and these were at least an inch bigger. And as far as the upper fit, the calf is over an inch short of what I need and unfortunately these boots do not provide any stretch at the top. My calf measures about 18" and I have had better luck in the past with boots that give you extra room with stretching. That is very disappointing.
