These boots are gorgeous! They run small!! I had to buy a wholes size bigger than I normally wear and cannot wear a thick sock. Overall, I love them. They look and wear great. Comfortable enough to wear all day and walk the city.

Love love love these boots. After trying various knee highs, and getting painful zipper to ankle bites with the side zippered styles (I have 16” larger calves), these fit like a dream. I am so excited that I found the make and style I like. Highly recommended to all women who have larger calves that have problems finding comfortable boots!

Preface this review: I bought every size 12 wide calf black dress boot that Zappos sells! These boots are classy AF. Beautiful. Back zip, which is interesting, and frankly a little scary, because they are TIGHT. They are not really a wide-calf boot, and are even labeled by the company as "for athletic calves". The sole is substantial without being too casual, and the fit is nice. I have big feet, big calves, but not fat ankles, and these are very trim and lovely. I returned because while I could wear them with dresses, and they might stretch out.... they're too expensive for boots that MIGHT fit right in a month.

Beautiful boot, very comfortable. Back zipper is a little different, but looks great.

I love these boots! They were a splurge for me but so worth it! They are sleek, comfortable and stylish. I bought them for an event but love them so much I 'dressed up' for work the day after I got them. I love the zipper in the back. They are dressy but practical in that the sole is rubber and easy to walk in. Some reviewers have not liked the circumference of the top of the boot. I have room at the top of mine, but it's not the over-sized pirate-look I have experienced with other wide-calf boots.

Great boots! As many reviews say, they do run narrow. I’m a true 7 W and initially tried a 7.5W to get a little more room. I ended up exchanging them for a 7 W extended calf as the length is very true to size and I had extra room. They fit great with very thin socks and I’m hoping that after I break them in I’ll be able to wear thicker socks. But they look great, the leather is very soft, and the wide calf shaft looks great and gives me room to spare.

Love these boots in black so I’m buying in whiskey. Comfy and stylish. I’ve worn them with tights and leggings.

Love them great boot!

I was concerned that these boots would not fit my calves. I've tried many wide calf boots before and they always fell short. After reading the reviews I felt there was a good chance these would fit well and they do! I was so pleased when I first put them on. I purchased a size 13 and they fit my 18" calves perfectly.

I have worn these several times. They are very comfortable and I feel very cool wearing them. There is also room for my inserts without being too cramped.

I normally wear a 7M in shoes and needed to go up to a 7W in these. The 7M’s were uncomfortably narrow even when trying them on around the house. Once I switched to the wide width soles these fit great! My left calf is 16.5” and my right calf is 16.75” and these boots fit! They are gorgeous! I’m 5’1” and they come up to just beneath the knee on me. So excited to wear these everywhere!

Love these boots! I was having trouble finding a pair of cute black boots that fit my calves but these are perfect! I can easily fit them over jeans which is a rare find for me! I have pretty flat, wide feet, but I don’t normally need to buy wide width shoes. After reading the reviews for these, I did and they fit great. I’m thinking about getting them in brown too!

Love these boots. Ordered in wide and glad I did because they are not much, if any, wider than a regular size. I have 16" calves, these give me plenty of room. They are surprisingly tight in the ankles, but even with my swelling problems I can wear them if I put them on first thing in the morning. In fact, they are more comfortable than the compression hose i usually wear because they hold my ankles tightly without making the dents around the top and ankles that the hose always make.

I love these boots! I get SO many compliments on them. This is my third pair in five years. They hold up pretty well, but I wear shoes really hard and my last pair accidentally got laid in a puddle of melted snow/ice salty water in my entryway and got stained/discolored. So, watch out for water/snow/salt! Also, the soles do not have a ton of grip, they are suuuuuuper slick when it's snowy/icy out.

Fit great! The wide calf is definitely nice and wide. I wore these with both stockings and jeans, and both looked great. Easy to get on and off, and zip up. Just one thing to note, the shaft on these boots might be a little too high for shorter women. I'm 5'2'' and these boots just about come up to my knees. It might be a little uncomfortable behind the knee if I was any shorter.

I love these boots! They are comfortable and stylish, and the leather is extremely soft. The calves are roomy enough to wear with any jeans or leggings.

Cute wide calf riding boots! I have very athletic legs which makes it difficult dang near impossible to find cute leather boots that I can actually get over my calf. I was skeptical when I placed my order because I am often disappointed in the end. These boots are legit, my calf is about 18" and I am a size 7. I can get these up with ease plus I can wear skinny jeans and my circulation doesn't feel like it's about to be cut off. These are a must have fall staple. I will be back to get the black and brown assuming the other boots that I order don't work.

So pretty, but not wide enough in the calf.
