These shoes run small. I wear a size 13 in womans and I can get away with 12.5 sometimes. I didnt fit into the 43s (equivalent to size 12.5-13) as expected. My toes touched/squished the front of the shoe and it felt uncomfortable but my heel would slip out everytime I walked (as its suppose to) so I was indecisive at first but decided im returning them and going to have to go with a larger size which sucks..sonce I wear 11s in men I ordered the 45s in mens since these seem to run very small. I'll give them another try.

I've worn Danskos for years and got these in the dark blue "blueberry oiled" color. They were very nice looking and would have been great with jeans. But alas, my pregnant feet didn't fit in my usual size so I sent them back. Might have bought again but found used Danskos on a secondhand site and will make do with those until my feet go back to normal. Or not. ¯\_(?)_/¯

This is my first pair of Danskos and I’m still getting used to them. I’ve been wearing mostly minimalist shoes for years and these are far beyond that. But I moved in to a new workspace that had concrete floors and my feet were hurting. I’d also been told I should wear something with a little bit of a heel to help with some alignment issues I have so these seemed like they’d fulfill both needs. My feet do hurt less when I wear them, so that’s good.

I have bunions which is why I ordered wide. They are still pretty narrow but much better than the regular. However they are now a little to long. so I am returning them for a half size smaller in wide.

I started wearing Dansko's when they were still made in Poland. I noticed now that the quality is not as good because the most recent pair that I bought several years ago are coming apart at the cushioned instep piece. However, they still are so comfortable that I did just buy a pair in the honey distressed color which I really like. I noticed that they definitely seem to run big in this color anyway. I had to go down to 38 which I've never done before. Perhaps the sizing is continuing to change? Nevertheless, it is such a comfortable and wonderful shoe. I'm sure I will be back for more and will possibly consider a Sanita clog since they are still made in Poland with the more narrow footbed.

I have worn Danskos for years and love them. I needed a new pair of basic black as mine have started to wear so I ordered the Professional as it looks exactly like my current pair. I have wide feet but the regular fit in Danskos always worked for me as they run wide. However, the new pair I ordered does not fit the same. It's too tight across the top of my foot. The actual width of the shoe and the toe box is fine, so I don't want to order the wide as they would probably be too wide. Unfortunately, these have to go back.

I am a huge fan of wearing Dansko Professional clogs for my long work day. I have been wearing this style for over 15 years now, and have stayed loyal. I can easily work an 8 hour day on my feet without problems. I also wore a pair of leather Professionals around Spain; often walking 10 miles a day (must wear socks!). I usually go for the black/brown/blueberry, but this time I bought the gray. I feel like these look a bit "hospital staff", but I enjoy the change from my typical colors. The leather scuffed very quickly on the toes which is why they get an overall 4 stars. I *was* setting up a new store so they were getting some extra hard work out. I have been a solid 38 for years... the sizing has not changed. I typically wear a 7.5-8 in US. Only issue with ordering on line is that I cannot try on multiple pair to find the best fit across the top of my foot. They vary. Easy to get them stretched at a cobbler. I've never had them too loose; just a bit tight.

I've never tried Danskos before but noticed that a large portion of healthcare professionals wear them so decided to do a little research before joining the clogging club. Being that my foot is wide, I ordered the wide danskos in my normal size 42. At first the instep was tight, not enough to keep you from wearing them, but enough for you to notice. Other reviewers have mentioned the same issue with some of them stating that it will loosen with regular wearand so far, I concur. It's definitely comfortable but takes a while to get used to it, particularly the heel height. My ankle rolled a couple of times in my one week of wear but no damage occurred. This problem apparently is much less common in the wide version than the regular version. My back pain practically vanished as soon as I started walking in these. These wouldn't be called stylish, but they are functional and professional-looking which should make standing for long hours very tolerable. Should you buy them? yes but be sure to try them out in the store before purchasing online. Would I purchase again? Definitely. I'm a Dansko convert!

The "oiled blueberry" is a very dark navy. The texture is similar to suede and when I rubbed the leather I could leave small marks. The comfort and fit are similar to the other colors; I own three pairs.

This was probably my last attempt to find danskos or sanitas that are as wide and comfortable as the old ones. wish i could wear them but they are just not wide enough. These wide prof danskos, which were kind of my last hope, didn't seem that wide. It seemed as if the sole was regular width and they had merely added a little more leather on top. it was wider than the sole before i put my foot in, which seemed odd. they just didn't fit well. I'll have to keep looking. I gave the show a good review because most people would be ok with them, i just have really wide feet.

I love them, but had to return because they were way to big. Dansko has changed their sizing because this is the size I always wear. I love Dansko and have been wearing them for years.

I usually wear 38 but lately my only ones started to feel tight, I ordered the 38wide but too large.

Have worn these during the work week since end of October- on my feet for major part of the day. They are well broken in, however starting to develop sore spots on right foot, as foot is slipping inside. Forced to change shoe throughout the day. Heels are worn already as well. They were very comfortable up until a month ago.

I purchased these because I'm a new mom and needed something super easy to put on and slip off at the door. Also, since I've been hauling around my kiddo in a wearable carrier, I wanted something comfortable! These pretty much fit the bill. I wouldn't recommend walking very long distances, as the "sliding" causes too much rubbing for me. Also, because these really affected my posture (for the better), I had a really sore back for the first few days. I'd recommend wearing them for short periods at first, not for 5 days in a row like I did. Ouch. I generally wear between a 9-9.5 and ended up keeping the size 40 with thick socks. When I first got them, I thought they were way too big, but I guess that's how they're supposed to fit. I tried the 39, but those were way to small! I almost wish there was a 39.5.

These are good looking shoes, however they are low cut on the ankle. My foot raises out of the shoe. They remind me of the Patagonia shoes that were made very similar to them, which are not carried any more. I hate to have to return them.

This is my second pair of Dansko Prof's; love the color of the Nubuk as well as the light colored sole. I have found the sizing to be a little inconsistant between my two pairs. I am a pretty true 8.5, sometimes size up to 9, and have worn a 40 in the past. With these, I had to return the 40 and go down to 39, which definitely fit better, still allow a pinky finger of heel space, but are not as perfect as my older size 40 pair. These seem slightly more snug across the instep but I am hoping they will give over time. The size 39 I was sent were brand new, never opened. The size 40s originally ordered had apparently been returned, and I suspect that may have been a factor with the sizing (stretching?) of that pair - they were def. too big. I love Zappos, but have had issues before when being shipped items that had obviously been returned at least once.

Cute server shoes, unfortunately I have to return. My arches are high and the top of the shoe was digging into the top of my foot after a while. It was pretty uncomfortable and won't work out when I'm on my feet for hours. If you don't have high arches this may not be an issue.

The shoe I ordered fits great and am glad I was able to order a wide size. I dont like the idea of having to wear a 40W when im normally an 8.5W or 9regular but I guess all that matters is that it fits. I love the brown color amd texture of the leather. Also wish it didnt say WIDE in big silver letters on the inside footbed- sure makes me feel like I have huge feet. But still worth all that for a good fit, confortable, and good looking shoe. So will keep them.

I am getting used to these shoes. I have waited a long time to buy Danskos and I was finally able to afford to take the plunge. I guess I should have paid attention to the reviews that said other styles are not as tight across the instep and tried a different style to compare. I wore these around the house to be sure I liked them and decided I did. But after wearing them all day I have a mark across the top of my foot where it was digging in. I hope it softens up and stretches a bit. Also the soles of my feet are sore - I think because of the way they redistribute my weight. So I sort of love them, but also feel sort of nervous about them since my first day of wearing them all day left my feet feeling sore.

I love my Dansko Pros and own four pair. The problem is that I have to order multiple pairs in the same size to get one single pair that fits. Not only do these shoes vary from pair to pair of the same size. A single pair can also feel like there is a full size difference between the left and right feet. I have always had to order two pair of Dansko Pros to get a pair that fits. But this time, I am on my FIFTH try to get a left shoe that is not way too big. I need these shoes, so I don't know how many times I will keep trying.

I have worn Dansko clogs for years and the tooled leather is a very pretty and stylish design. I think the quality of the brand has gone downhill since they switched manufacturers several years ago but I haven't found a better alternative. However, they have been making their styles narrower than they used and these are just on the border of fitting my wide feet. So they may size me out of wearing them someday.
