The prices of New Balance and not many design Choices. I have started to look for other brands. I have been a loyal customer for 20+ years.

The sneakers did not fit properly and the 847's are unavailable for at least another month anywhere

Love the style, but had to return them. They were way too wide, and I wear an average width... Medium.

I've depended on New Balance over the years to keep my feet comfortable and pain free when I walk. These do not meet expectations.

I don't like the way this shoe looks or fits. I have been spoiled with my Foam Fresh 880s both in comfort and in appearance. These are blocky shoes with a wide middle that make my feet look like they are swollen!

Bought these NB walking shoes in size 9.5 XWide to replace my beloved size 9.5 XWide running shoes which have worn out. The walking shoes are very big and I had to return them. Unfortunately I cannot find a local store that carry these so I cannot try another size. Very disappointed .

I have been purchasing the 877v1 for several years. The first pair provided a good fit and wonderful support as did my second pair. I could take them out of the box and immediately wear them all day long. This third pair is different. The shoe is stiff and does not seem to offer the support and comfortable fit as the previous two. I am only able to wear them for a couple of hours a day before I began having pain in my feet, ankles and back. So the jury is still out on the 877v1. I have two other styles of New Balance and have no trouble with discomfort from wearing all day so it makes me think that the 877v1 has possibly undergone some changes, especially since it is very hard to find now on line, and that is what possible accounts for the less than great fit I have always felt with New Balance shoes

I bought these because I couldn't seem to find another pair of the 847V3. I have very severe bunions and the mesh sides seemed to be a good option. However, they don't have the support that I need. I will keep them but I hope that my other ones will last a little while longer. I probably would not buy these again.

The toe box was tighter across the foot than previous 877's. The biggest problem is the rough bumpy spot where the tongue is attached to the shoe body. When you have a bunion there it is quite painful. Can't they fix this problem?

The shoe was very nice looking, but I am unhappy it didn't fit my foot properly. It was way too wide even after lacing tighter all the way up. My heel was sliding left to right and would rise up when I walked. Very disappointed.

These are great walking shoes if you do not have problems with pronation (which I do) They have a wide, deep toe box and fit my feet well but are lacking a rollbar (found in someNew Balance shoes). I tend to pronate when I walk and need the rollbar for stability. New Balance style 947 is very similar to 877 and does have the rollbar, but they were out of stock. I will wait until they are back in stock and order again.

I had to purchase this sneaker because I have been unable to buy the 847 v3 which is my favorite. My size has been unavailable for over 6 months. These sneakers are ok but are not as comfortable as the 847 v3. They are bothering my little toe on both shoes.

New Balance has succumbed to nylon tops. I have been buying these shoes for years because of the wide toe box (thank you for that), and because they were made of hard-to-find leather. Now, the tix box is still ok, so I'll keep them; but I'll have to wear with care and NOT wear like I used to, to feed the horses and work outside. Again, very disappointed

These shoes seem like good quality however the soles are very stiff and dont bend when i walk. The toe is very boxy for comfort but really lacks style. I am disappointed but will keep them since I forced myself to try to love them.

I ordered a narrow and the shoe tag said it was a narrow but the shoe was very wide on the foot. I'm used to wearing the 990's but Zappos is out of my size. So maybe I'll hold out till they get more in. This one wasn't going to work w/ out doctoring up the footbed which I hate to do.

They are okay but not as comfortable as New Balance sneakers I have had in the past. I thought New Balance products were made in the USA. I was disappointed to see these were made in Vietnam.

For years I have relied on New Balance sneakers as my favorite, most comfortable, best fitting, in other words, my "go-to shoes". I bought these because they were the only NB sneakers that came in a AA width. Apparently, New Balance is following the lead of all other shoe companies and phasing out shoes for people with narrow feet. I'm just starting to wear them. I wish they were as attractive as the last two pairs of Fresh Foam that I bought, but they're not.

The tongue is too short. Also no cushioning in size. Hard for me to comment on size because depending on the shoe I wear a different size. I got the 8 EE . The width seems good inside but they are a little long. Maybe I needed a 7.5 ee.

If you like the stability and arch support of the NB 847's this is NOT the shoe for you. The NB 847 was not in stock when I needed a replacement so I gave these walking shoes a try. I am disappointed that they don't have the heel stability or the great arch support that NB 847's have. I should have done my research.
