XXWide fits bunion foot. Size 7.5 was perfect fit with toe room. I am 7 or 7.5 size in shoes. Good stability. Good cushioning. I ordered 2nd pair cause I love this color & style.

I really like these shoes in every way. First I must say that my feet are very difficult to please because they have lots of oddities that I'm not even aware of until I try on shoes! As the years have progressed, feet that used to be able to wear anything or nothing at all without problem now seem to have become very demanding and crabby and that makes finding shoes that fit, are comfortable and look decent a challenge. That goes even for "athletic" shoes. So finding these shoes has been a great discovery. I see that they are only selling one color and in limited sizes so I wonder if that means they are on their way out; I hope not. They are not the big bulky "honkin" athletic shoes, but they are just very comfortable in a simple, non-industrial kind of way. They are not without support but they are not like some super-engineered uber-supportive shoe; they are just right. Nice, non-gaudy design, non-garish color. Just a simple, attractive, comfortable shoe - what a concept!

My Hobbit feet love this shoe. This has NB SL-2 which fits me best, tthis shoe is firm but not heavy, has a wide enough toe box and a variety of sizes. A 7 ww is perfect. You might save some effort, Zappos, if you labeled the last for NB shoes.

I've been ordering/returning running shoes from Zappos ever since Nike Pegasus 29 (circa 2012) slowly disappeared. I am eternally grateful to Zappos for not cutting me off - IMO the best-run corporation in US. I have impossible feet -- too small, pencil-heels, half- golf ball sized bunion on one foot; one arched/one flat. Need orthotic-friendly, size 5.5m, wide toe box, super narrow heel. At long last, I found New Balance 877!! Not perfect, but definitely good enough. Check: wide toe box for the giant bunion, better support than Pegasus 29, sacrificing some cushion, heel slips somewhat, but I padded it and switched to slightly thicker socks. Ordered another pair and probably should add a third in case it too disappears. Thank you Zappos for putting up with me all these years!

I ordered narrow and the shoe is a little wide for me. They are comfortable for everyday wear around the house. The strings are extremely long, but I usually double knot the strings. Stylish enough for me!

Super cute shoe, particularly for a narrow walker, but the narrow runs wide compared to other New Balance styles like Fresh Foam. I could tell out of the box that they were going to be too wide. I could have gotten by if the heal didn't slip with each step, but sadly have to return.

I have purchased and worn these shoes for a number of years and have always found them to be extremely comfortable. Problem is, my big toe eventually wears holes through the mesh top way before the rest of the shoe is worn out. Perhaps NEW BALANCE might consider extending the suede a bit more up and over the top of the toe ?

Too big. I usually wear 6.5 in running shoes and these are 1/2 size too big.

I ordered the narrow width. They fit well, especially in the heel area. However the shape of the top is very big and wide. They stayed on my feet and are comfortable so I kept them

I purchased New Balance 887 sneaker for my daughter. She is a difficult size and width, 6 2E. Her foot is not only wide, but thick from top to bottom. She also wears orthotics. These sneakers have a wide, round toe box, and the depth of the shoe is more than ample to accomodate her orthotics. An added plus; the tongue is not too thick. All in all, a good fitting cute sneaker!

This style of New Balance shoes doesn't fit quite as well as the other model that I had in the past, but they will work. They say they are narrow, but feel more like a medium width.

Good support and not overly squishy. I love the wide toe box. It runs a bit short, and I wish I could go up half a size.

I needed a wide shoe because of hammer toes and corns. I also needed arch support. This shoe is better than others I've tried.

I like the blue-gray color and light weight of this shoe. They do not run true to size, so I bought a size 9 instead of my usual 8.5, as recommended, and they fit. (Why doesn't New Balance just make their shoes true to size?) Some reviewers say the arch support is good, and some say there is none. I feel like there's a padded rod across the mid-insole, which is uncomfortable. One minor positive point is that the laces stay tied without double knotting.

Believe I needed 1/2 size shorter, but kept them....was not sure how to return...and then if they were too short, how many times can you return and reorder for size?

I wear these shoes on my daily walk, about 2.5 miles most days. I've been wearing these shoes about a week now and they are finally getting broken in. I have an very narrow foot so proper lacing is very important. It's taken most of the week to get them laced to the point where my feet are snug and comfortable. Now that has been accomplished, I can say they are a great pair of shoes, comfortable, stable and snug.

I really wanted to like this shoe because it was very comfortable. I have a narrow foot with a narrow heel and this sneaker did not slip at all. Good arch support as well. What I didn't like was the styling - was a bit clunky looking. If the styling had been even a bit more updated, I would have kept it.

There was no arch support which is why I bought them. Vionic has more arch support which is important for plantar fasciitis and supination.

I tried a lot of different New Balance and Brooks shoes both walking and running before deciding on these. The padding is not great but I selected due to room in toe bed. Nice summer color. Zappos is great for allowing multiple returns and has excellent service

Ordered 1/2 size up as reviews suggested. Big mistake. I wear an 8 I ordered an 8 and 8 1/2. Both were gigantic and the toe area was huge. They looked like orthopedic shoes. However they were tight in around the arch and I don't have a high arch. I would say size down 1/2 a size in this shoe. Couldn't tell if they were comfortable or not they we were so big.
